Man every once in awhile, I'll come back to this video and watch it, its just simply breath taking. I consider it to be the greatest dancing routine ever put together and beautifully danced too. I can't possibly fathom the idea of someone having such a talent to be able to choreograph such a masterpiece, its almost unreal.
damn, i'm still amazed every time i watch this. my favorite part is actually the beginning where jamie is the flower blooming. she executes the movement perfectly.
Perhaps, this dance routine is timeless and considered as one of the best in the history of sytycd because of how it is beautifully directed. The camera is mesmerizing and hallucinatory. It only takes 4 cuts from the onset up to the ending. The close up of Hok and as it slowly fades out into a long shot is where all the magic begins. 0:15 onwards is a long take. The camera dances with them. We are dancing with them. This is probably one of a kind moments when we are not just passively watching, we became part of the routine. Like Hok, we are a hummingbird. Wade Robson is truly a genius.

Absolutely stunning. Hok's birdlike movements in his head and hands are amazing, and Jaimie's lean, florid lines are so compelling. It inspires and enthuses me every time a watch this. They are both such utterly talented dances, and the choreographer, had a moment of genius when he conceived this dance. "Hummingbird and Flower" choreographed by Wade Robson won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography in 2008.
i just LOVE how different this is from the contemporary/jazz routines we've seen. it's not about a relationship, gf/bf lovey dovey wishy washy stuff. This is pure art and beauty.
this is the kind of dancing i love. although it is beautifully done, i'm kind of tired of seeing the same old stories of relationships and feelings in the new routines and seasons lately. this was when this was just pure beauty and art
there are so many great dancers and dances on sytycd and there even dances that have better structure or technique. but there is no dance that connects with the music and tells a story better than this!! this is one of my all-time favorites!

I saw this dance during it's first live airing on sytycd. I remember the brief,astonished silence before the clapping. Everyone was so amazed at this original, peerless and beautifully performed dance.
This is just so amazing! I hardly watch the show on a regular basis but performances like these make me want to become a fanatic. Its just too beautiful for words really.
Most memorable dance i've ever seen, it's beautiful and haunting. It gives me chills everytime I watch it. It a true masterpiece and it has made me appreciate dance as an art. I will never forget this. Definitely my favorite rountine of all time on SYTYCD. I watch it over and over.
Wow. This is beautiful. I love how the guy did the break dance in this unique piece. It was so beautifully used in this piece. So Animated. Wade is a freaking Creative Genius. I cant believe that he would risk throw away his career to lie on MJ. He has more lose than to gain. I believe Wade and my prayers goes out to him and his family during this difficult time.

I know nothing about dance but this is beautiful. I never really knew how iconic Wade is, but damn, now I got a whole new kind of respect for him.
