Ordered the pink one for my wife. It will be here Monday. My boys 11 and 8 just watched this video and they were like "Oooh dad, that green and blue are cool."
The light blue one is my favorite, then the pink. I can tell from the comments these colors appeal to women. It's nice to see other color options. I hope these show up in your Christmas giveaway!

I disagree i don’t think it just appeals to women, I think it appeals to people who like non traditional color for their bibles I like the light blue and the green my wife would love the pink.
I have a pink Bible on my Christmas wish list. I also really love the yellow one behind on the bookshelf. So pretty.

I do really like the idea of these! I was debating the light blue one but talked myself out of it. Now that the orange is the only option, pretty disappointed I didn’t end up ordering the blue!

The bright color Bibles are definitely unique, & that’s why I love them.
That’s my opinion.

I love color! They are very lovely. Personally, I prefer more conservative shades in color, but these are great for those who want something a bit different and of course colorful! 😊
The pink reminds of the Coral NIV from Zondervan. Which I LOVE! (Thank you for that giveaway Tim!) My favorite part is that I can spot my bible immediately on a table or bench. So definitely a market for these. Just not for everyone. But I REALLY like these, but would switch out those ribbons in the green bible to a cream color for sure.

These are so pretty… don’t like the green but like the blue and pink… that pink is the favorite in my household. We would love to get the pink.
I commented on your Facebook post about these Bibles that I love the green one, and now that I know it has purple accents I love it even more. Mint green and purple are two of my favorite colors. The other Bibles are pretty too, but the green one is more me.
i remember when my mother decorated with purple and mint green and i thought she was plum out of her mind!!!! Then I saw what she did and it was stunning. So i had to eat my words and my criticisms.

Yes, I like all three of these. O wouldn't choose them for myself, but I have three daughters who would each love one of the colors. There is definitely a market for some brighter colors.
Hi Tim, I think the blue is a little too pale. It looked deeper on the website. I think it's cheerful and would lift someone's mood. I have been looking for that shade of green in a bible for a long time. Even if it was leathersoft. I was delighted to see that green on the Allan Bibles website. There is one on its way to me in the post. Those three colors are gone from the website now. They have a bright orange one for sale today.

The orange is beautiful, too, and I could see it appealing to a much wider market than these pastels. It's too bad it is only available as a limited experiment.

I honestly kinda dig them. They actually remind me of the colors of Never Coffee in Portland (one of my favorites). Hey Tim... I'm not sure what it'd take to get one of them on giveaway, but I'm right over here. Specifically that green!

I understand the feeling of a not so classic/classy look but I think these will be appealing to younger women or women in general. As for me I love the green and the blue. I do not have an Allan but some day I will.

I’m not into foofee color Bibles but I actually love the light blue, and it’s two column reference, oh wow, long ribbons, Awesome!
That light blue one is perfect because I'm from NC and a Chapel Hill fan. The pink looks like the color of the original Hubba Bubba chewing gum wrapper. The green color looks like Puke Green in my opinion.
I've definitely got time for that green and purple!
My daughter would love the pink. I don't hate the colors, but prefer the darker colors. I love how they are experimenting with new bold colors though.
My 17 year old Bible loving self would have loved that green one. Now, it’s a bit bright. Lol. The blue one is really cool though! My dad is a huge UNC fan, and would love that one!
I guess we can call this new green ESV1 “The Hulk” due to its green/purple color set
Love you R.L. Allan. But, all three of those pastel Easter eggs would go into the immediate rebind pile for me. (In that case, I guess I'd pick any of them if forced to... since I'd have Allan drop ship it straight to the bindery, if possible. LOL)
Yeah I initially ordered the blue one because I thought it would be a completely different shade but I’m glad I canceled the order 😬
Of the 3, the pink would be my choice. But holy cow those are bright!
Hey Tim! Thanks for sharing the unboxing! These colors are definitely for a very niche market and not my preference. I love earthy and rustic well worn looking brown toned bibles. If I choose a Bible with more modern features in the aesthetics- it would be in the art gilding like the marbled gilded edges I have seen you feature once before.

HUGE Tar Heels fan/alum here (heck, I even live in Chapel Hill, have done some campus ministry here). I’m normally not into bright colors either, but that Carolina Blue Bible makes me want to scream for joy. If it was still up on the website I’d be SO tempted to buy it. Heck, I don’t even own any premium Bibles.
I immediately adore that light blue! It's really pretty. Watching more, though, that bright green one you hate so much I really love and want! Why though? That contrast! It looks really cool!
I'm with you, Tim. Those are a bit loud for my taste. But my wife who likes Vera Bradley bags that in my opinion are visible from orbit appreciates those Bibles. Our daughter likes things in that shade of blue so when providentially someone in the Bible sell/trade group on Facebook put one up for sale later the same day we watched this video we decided to buy it as a Christmas surprise for our daughter.

These are gorgeous colors, vibrant, and beautiful tones. They lift my spirit! Style comes and goes, and it's really easy to misinterpret these colors based on what one is conditioned to, relative that that very Fixed perception. I love these colors and I am conservative. I would get them all, keep the green, and give the others to family members!
Think it’s good that Allan are doing these for those people that like brighter colours, but not really for me. (Although I do like Humble Lambs Lunar Yellow!). If I had to choose one (sorry Tim), it would be the bright green 🤷🏻♂️

The one thing I love about the market is there are all kinds of options for all kinds of people. These are not for me at all. But I do think there is a segment that will like them. And, I hope the options continue to grow.
I mean to each their own...I personally prefer classic black or brown but it's what's on the inside that counts
Wow!! I really think the bright blue is beautiful and when you opened the pink my jaw dropped in a good way lol. The green made me feel a bit nauseous lol. But I think they are all fun colors, I’d choose the light blue it’s so pretty! This was a fun video and I hadn’t heard of Allan Bibles before so this was new to me. God bless!
I'm with you Tim. I guess I'm old and stodgy too! If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with green. It seems less bright to me. Definitely not the pink.....unless it was free 🙂

I just ADORE these Bibles! So beautiful! The bright colors make me happy! SorryTim, I don't agree with you on this one. I love these. I think that it's cool that they are doing this. When I saw the colors I had to have the green with purple ribbons. Then, I bought the pink for my granddaughter. They were a great price and look like they are fine with minimal imperfections. It's exciting!
Allan sent me an email a few weeks later, after I purchased two of these. Apparently, they sold more Bibles than they had, so I didn't get either one after all. At first, I was hoping that they would get more in stock. But I recently emailed them about it and they do not plan to release any more of these. I am disappointed.
I wish there were more colors available to more bibles... I'd color code the translations for myself lol...
If I was to pick one of those, I'd pick the light blue. What I'd like to find is a bright orange leathersoft, probably in ESV
There were pink bibles in the 80's. Goatskin was a fav but it really needs scars. Gives character.

Edited to add: Not the biggest fan of the burgundy ribbon with the bright green cover, though -- would've preferred matching ribbons like the other two or a color combination of that shade of green, white, and lemon yellow. I wonder whether the flaw with the run of bright green Bibles was either their green ribbons not turning out well or just realizing how blegh the green-burgundy color combination looked once it was manufactured.

I think it a color preference for people. The main thing is if it’s attracts people to buy so that it gets them into more of the Word of God. That’s what’s important. But being new to premium Bibles and the overall circuitry of publishers I have found RL Allan to be that old English traditional with their presentation . I only have two bibles and a third coming in January . I really don’t want to get a library full of different bibles but I have become a bit partial to first editions . Two of the three I have are first editions . But I gave in ,I had to buy the Latest RL Allan long primer Sovereign
Desk purple edition . It is a first edition . Only 100 made. I couldn’t resist
I'm pretty simple. My church just gifted me the Cambridge Topaz ESV in black goatskin which I love. I think out of these bibles I would reluctantly choose the green. The only reason because I like ribbon colors that contrast the main color.
I love the new colors. If I had to choose it would be the blue or the green. But my wife would definitely want the pink.
Love the colors, especially the green because it is a true green. The ribbons are dark red, which is a complementary color to green.

I’m not a fan of the bright colors myself. My 13yr old daughter, who recently decided to give her life to Christ, and got baptized, said the pink one is her favorite. I don’t have a favorite, just not my thing.

If I was going to get one of these, it would be the blue one. I'm in SC so I've grown up with the Carolina blue as a favorite color.
I personally like the colors. I would take any of them. It’s the Scripture that’s most important anyways.

I'm in love with these bibles. I've been searching for a pink like Humble Lambs Ethereal Pink that's an edge-line, but I cannot find any! I painted a concord, I guess I will have to paint more.. (Angelus leather paints, please dont use normal paints on your leather bibles!)
Wow those are definitely some BRIGHT bibles! Not something I would go out of the house with, bad decisions on Allen. 🤦🏻♂️ If I had to pick one the Blue it is the non offensive one to me. Green maybe but they killed it with the purple ribbon. Pink just isn’t my color 😂

I’m a middle aged man. I’d probably never buy one of these bibles but I think it’s cool they’re out there. I always find it frustrating when I can’t find the type of Bible I like over the years so I am imagine these will be perfect for someone.
I really like these brighter/lighter colorways. I really like them. I hope they make a pink Longprimer 53.
I dont really hate the green, the burgundy against the green looks good and im not offended by brightly colored bibles.. they're fun!
