Another great video! Just wondered what is the multispot you used? I use Elinchrom but the Elinchrom Minispot is no longer made or sold anywhere I can find, it's like hens teeth! So looking for a similar alternative, thanks
I use a Profoto Multispot with a Dedo light attachment. Don't think Profoto is selling them anymore, even though you can find them on the website. Also, it's an extremely expensive solution. Don't Elinchrom have a projection solution nowadays available?
After having been eating, for the past four years, a daily dose of UA-cam videos and tutorials on "how to", I can safely say that yours are te first a find to go for a step further and really getting into "matter" with regards to what being a photographer is. Which for me, and I believe for anyone who really wants to master photography, is "problem solving". These are videos showing what creativity is all about, which by definition is solving the problem of building a bridge between the gap of an idea and a concept. So thank you very much and congratulations to you Mr. Bot or Mr. Botson or Botvidsson, it is truly inspiring.🙏
Wow, thanks! I want to use your comment as a reference on my website landing page 😉 Means a lot to me getting comments like this. Make me want to make more videos, thanks again! Peace! From a sunny Stockholm, Sweden
Martin- I adore your style and ‘easy’ approach- AND your lack of ego….If I was younger, I would be beating down your door for a day with you in the studio…..
I absolutely LOVE your style of teaching as you construct (or sometimes deconstruct) a session. I am learning so much watching your content, thank you!
Hi from Australia. I really enjoy watching you videos. As I’m new to creating Parfum images from my new Instagram page. These instructions really help. Thank you How do you connect the camera to the Mac. I have a Sony A6600 and learning how to use it. It’s hard to see images on that screen. If you can tell me how to connect camera to Mac I would really appreciate it. You have a new subscriber
I used that Profoto multispot with Dedolight projection attachment, inside a used a jungle gobo. This is a very pricy solution, you might want to look at some other attachment like Aperture... maybe
Please help me with a link or something where I can look for a black board, I searched the internet and I can't find something like that. Thank you very much.
Hi, loved your work, it would be really nice. If you can give a demo in a specific video of all the gears, specially the extended arms you use and the relevant accessories attached for each gear. Relevant uses, what to use when and how and where to attach the modifiers.i guess you got my request... Looking forward for a dedicated video. Trust me people who are novice like me will appreciate this kind of video and support from your end
This was so much fun and knowledge at the same time. love your style :) Can you show us how to create gobo patterns such sharp and neat without expensive dedo light sometime? Thank you
Hello! Thanks a lot! Well, I will try to squeeze that in. However, it is NOT possible to get that SUPER sharp shadow edges without a dedo projection but you will get very far with just a cut out gobo and place it as close as possible to the subject and then make the light source as small as possible and place it far away.
@@botvidsson Thank you very much for taking time and replying. I think i understand what you are talking about. ill experiment and see. There is very less info on hard light product photography online. If you can in future consider showing us, how to hard light and get that afternoon sun feel. would be amazing. Thank you very much again :)
First time I saw someone build a tiny reflector attached to the back of a product. It also acts as a bottom rim light creating separation between it and the box it sits on.
Big thanks Michael! Thanks for the support. I make my own diffusion panels, I use black foam boards with one side self-stick, cutting out a frame and then stick a diffusion on. I like to use a very thick diffusion but any kind will work. I use this: www.cameranu.nl/en/p44923/savage-trans-lum-137-x-550cm-heavyweight and this kind of boards: www.amazon.com/Self-Stick-Foam-Board-Black-x17/dp/B014TN6USO/ref=sr_1_4?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1515590020&sr=1-4&keywords=black+foam+board+stick
Regarding the product box stand, if you mean the metal box the product stands on it is just an old pen holder I had lying around in the studio. Just turned it up side down ;)
Haha, it's a very basic simple one, it's called DE'LONGHI Magnifica S Espresso machine. Makes great coffee though. ua-cam.com/video/RI1q6cMNgmw/v-deo.html

I use Jungle Gloom: us.rosco.com/en/products/gobos/82782-jungle-gloom I use a Dedolight attachment for the Profoto Multispot flash. Hard to find and very expensive solution.
Joke aside. I also had a 7D not long ago, fantastic camera. It will take exactly the same picture as the Hasselblad. Regarding the Multispot, if you watch the video you will see that I explain that you can take any black paper board and cut out any kind of pattern you like and just place it in front of any flash with a reflector attached. Good luck!
for starters in order to have a propper projection head you should check out magmod magbeam fresnel kit or the light blaster. the blocncolor+dedo projector kit cost more than my two kidneys.
Hi Bodvidsson You did not use the ; Camera-Object-Flash-angle-rule positioning your little reflective board scotched to back of the bottle ;) . With a 45° angle to the light of course the illumination of the liquid through the bottle would be much stronger .
digging your vids bro. heres a tricky ine, we recently took on a job for an online sex toy shop and i heavily under-estimated how difficult it is to postion these toys, maybe you can give it a try for a video.
I learned so much in 14 minutes. Thank you for taking the time to do this, sir! You are an excellent teacher .
Glad it was helpful!

Can I ask which foldable table you are using? I can't seem to find one where I could tighten the screw for different hight. Thank you.
The one I use in this video is just an old synthesizer stand, it’s not so stable but works. It has like five different heights.

How did you create the background leaf pattern?
It's a jungle gobo from Rosco inside the Profoto Multispot with a Dedolight attachment
Hi, I'm your big fan. I have a question. What kind of steel gobo did you use in the background? Can you tell me what kind of dedolight you used?
