For sure. I feel like he's grown his subscribers quite a bit since I started watching-but his tutorials are by far the best and definitely deserve a 20x audience at least
The organic nature of your workflow is so relatable and extremely entertaining :-P I'm learning more from your videos than from anywhere else. Many thanks!
Wow, I could see how hard you had been working on this in your eyes, and how you tired you must have been. Yet, you were patient and smiling when explaining all this stuff to us. You're great
This is the level of perfection you need to master. This video will remind me next time I am fed up on the setup and want to give up, that I will get there eventually. After 100s of test shots! Brilliant.
In the days of film, I strived to capture the final image in one shot and minimize burning and dodging in the darkroom. Today with photoshop it is more effective to shoot several images and combine them in photoshop.
Loving these videos. Quick suggestion. If you let the final image run awhile longer at the end it’ll allow the viewers to see the entire image. Because you only play it for the last few seconds, UA-cam’s suggested videos fill the left and right sides of the screen before the entire image can be seen.

Hi Martin Tim here from the Philippines, thank you for your workflow sharing. I saw in your life video you are using a switchboard for the video feeds, can you please tell me what model you are using. thank you so much keep safe. Tim
Hey Martin! What are the little attachments you have connected to your C-stands holding all the flags? I've been looking for things like that so I dont have to hold everything and composite a hundred photos. Thanks for everything!
@@botvidsson Thank you very much! I will definitely be ordering from your amazon account. Hope it helps support your channel! Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing so often recently.
I'm in the market for a couple of heavy duty C-stands. I see you have the glossy ones your self, don't you find it that sometimes they reflect too much light and interfere with your scene ? I've found some black C-stands, thinking about getting those. What do you think ?
Is it possible that we are going to see a tutorial in the future where you explain how you would photograph something flat with just one point of interest. With that i mean a necklace or a bracelet with just one interesting pendante. It's something that doesn't have a lot of depth and also is pretty macro. And thank you for the awesome content, your channel has become an addiction.
@@botvidsson I don't actually know. For me it seems that most "products" take up space in a 3 directions so you have a lot of surface to play with. Like a bottle a watch or most other objects but if the object is flat like a necklace or some kind of band im having a hard time imagining how to properly light it. But can't a necklace be a "product"? Sorry if the question does not fit or is weird im nowhere near being a good photographer but i'm learning.
Love you and your videos! Can you do a jar candle product photography video, I will gladly send you some of my products if you'd like, Please and thank you :)
Hi. I really enjoy your videos. Go Coffee as well. I do have a request for a future video. You have covered several whiskey shots in the past but I have a product that I have had only results that have been not the best. The product is Beam's Eight Star Kentucky Whiskey. I need a straight on product shot the problem is that this beautiful amber liquid product has a foil completely bumper like shiny label. I have not figured a way to shot straight straight on and image the whole bottle and still get a beautiful label. The label is large and wrap around style. Any ideas for this. I have tried many types of lighting but all fail because of the label reflecting everything. I would really like the label to be white with the red Beam's Eight Star wording to pop out and look good. A matte label would be great but it isn't matte. Thank you for your ideas. JRS
You say white label, isn't it golden? Or are there more variations www.urban-drinks.de/en/beams-eight-star-blend-10l-40-vol.html If the label is glossy it can be hard to light, you can never use a small light source. One trick is to spray the bottle with matte coating spray...
@@botvidsson You are correct. The label is a semi gloss Gold Foil with red and black printing. The problem is that the foil reflects everything and still is side lighted appears as black. It is not so common to do that for classic product photography, sounds more like lifestyle photography. Or am I wrong?

Concrete is reflective, I have seen people use it outside to give extra light to portraits. I wonder if that is what happened with your rim light?
