We just purchased our T210. The issue that I am having is it will not cut the paper in between pages so I am having to do that manually. Ive gone through all the settings and unable to figure out why it won't cut. Other than that I am happy with the printer.
Can I use it to print yard signs? I haven’t taken mine out the box yet sitting in it for a year. Because I fear it won’t work for what I purchased it for which is printing yards signs 18x24. Any advice you can offer would be helpful.
What is your ink cost coming out to for full color prints? I know you said $0.68 per print (based on 200) but hopefully you’ve been able to get it more accurate over time with more usage. Thanks!
Nice. I bought the T100 a couple years ago for like $650. Already paid it off a long time ago. Easy to use, simple prints. I charge like $3.15 per 24" x 36".
@@ttms Kelly had them at $10.05 per roll, but it looks like the price just went up to $13.30. At least that's what my price is. They come 4 rolls in a pack. 24" x 150' on a 2" core. I've also found them on Amazon for less than $50 for 4 rolls of 20#.
Where can I look to find these print jobs. I have a Canon imageprograf TA-20 and I'm looking for ways to pay for it. Any advice on finding customers or any advice on how to advertise my printing services?
How did you get it to print in full 24 x 36 sheets? I just received mine for my fab shop for plans but can’t get it to print how you have it printing. Please help!
def understand about not wanting to change media on the hp latex. a printer for each type of printer would be awesome lol gets old moving 54" prime gp and banner material back and forth lol
how has this worked out for you so far? I'm a contracting company and I draw my own plans. Usually pay staples or office depot to print but I could use the speed/ease of printing my own. Don't want to buy a budget printer that will just break after a few jobs.
Been working great. I'm really happy with the purchase. I do mostly engineering plans, but I get local people that just want cheap poster prints and it works out really well. It was definitely worth getting.
Nice! Any reason you didn't just run these off of your Latex? it works great with the HP coated paper. And, I'm pretty sure you can set it to cut between sheets.
Thanks. I figured out what was the issue. It's not a marginless printer so since I had a margin in what I was printing, I moved in the width one inch and it didn't alter the size of my artwork because it now had room for the margin. My art board was the same width as my paper roll in other words but the actual art was not affected when i reduced the width of the art board. That was the problem. Thanks for your reply.
Look into the Kip machines, that's what we used, but blueprints is one of our backbones. I think they have a print + scan machine that's under 6k or 5k.
@@ttms - I print a ton of 11 x 17 blueprints for framing. A lot of Disney Cinderellas Castle, and Universal Orlando Islands of Adventure Lighthouse. Load 20 sheets in and walk away. You can load any size paper in it, however.
I watched your video, and this is excellent! I am a General Contractor and after watching your video I thought that this would have serviced all of my printing needs....Please forgive this question, but I can't get mine to print in 24" x 26" format. I did set the page at Arch D, and tried in both landscape view as well as portrait view. How did you get yours to print in 24" x 36"??
I hate the newer Designjets, the screen on that model is smaller than on my Epson SC T5200 PS from 2018 and even my Designjet T2500 PS from 2015 has a larger touchscreen... Lol

I don't have the printer any more, but I know it was in the settings. You could turn it off if you didn't want it to cut.
We bought the Epson ecotank because I did not want to run out of ink in a middle of a project plus it just saves on ink.

It it good for continuous printing.. like i was printing paper bag with it and it stopped working. What should I do
how long a cartridge will last without drying out, in case the printer sits there for a month
Can you recommend smaller size like same t200 ?

Just cheap draft paper?
@@domsim9516 yep, I have a spot that sells 4 rolls at a time for like $40.
Mike, I need your source 🙂.

Is this similar to the HP DesignJet T125?
Yes

Can you load less than 24 inch wide roll of paper? 18 or 22 inch roll.
Yes, you can. I've done 12 inch on mine.
@@BaryAlto-lw8tg Thanks. Do you still recommend this printer?
Fantastic video! Do you know if this will print tissue paper about 117 gms or 128 gms? Thanks in advance
It might. I never tried.

Because I hate changing the media roll on the HP. Plus the HP is getting old.
Can I print in a ARCH D size? I know it can in A1
I don't know all the terms. It's 24 inches wide and can print as long as you want.

Have you looked at the Canon IPF series? Used them for years, solid machines at a reasonable price.
I looked at a canon, not sure which model. It was more expensive and this venture was about staying as cheap as possible.
@@ttms I have a Canon IPF 755, second hand. An older model. But it works really well for me.
Cannon new ipf series is way better than hp. Would go for the tm series. Instead of ta. Ta inks are very expensive. Tm if you

Sir Rudy, you mean kip 9900 in lazada?
I love your videos. What kind of media is that you're using for the blueprints?
Just basic paper amzn.to/3pu0lgK
I have the 210 and I also bought the sheet feeder attachment. Worth every penny.
What so you use the feeder for?

What kind of company are these prints for? Or who should I be reaching out to?
Construction companies
Any long term reviews after owning it for a while??
I ended up selling it to my brother. It was decent but it was sure an ink hog. It paid for itself, but I probably won't get another one.

By the way, I seem to be only able to print in 24" x 24"....the other 12" gets cut off by printer (doesn't print the final 12")
Sounds like you need to adjust the paper size in your drive. You candy adjust the size and other settings.
What do you charge for blueprints, I have this same printer
B/w $4 color $6
Can you print banners on this?..
Paper banners, but not traditional vinyl.

My printer is saying it can’t detect the paper…. Have you ever had that problem? T210
Can you make a video on how you got your sales up or how you get jobs?
I'll see what I can do
I'm gonna order a 24x36 color print with 97% ink coverage.
It will look terrible on the uncoated paper. Not recommended. 😂
Did you find a good solution to make it auto stack? I have been fighting this for awhile as it is too time consuming to watch for a large set.
I'm going to make a cardboard tray that is at an angle. That way gravity does the work.
I want to use this to print dungeon and dragons battle maps :( so expensive. Have you printed full color yet? How much ink is used?
I sell colored prints for $6 each (24x36). It's not the best print, but it works for people that only want to spend a few dollars on a poster.
