Ableton needs to pay this man
Thanks for the kind words 🙏 I’d love to collaborate with Ableton!
Word
I had a Novation 61SL Mk3. Good gear but it started crapping out on me. While i was troubleshooting that with their support, i picked up a Push 2 for $300 and was blown away.
Since im not a piano player by trade, i quickly realized that the Push 2 completely obviates the need for a keyboard at all. It does everything that the novation does but better (for the most part. There was still some cool things about that gear)
Since my keyboard was outside the 30 day return window, im now returning and exchanging for a PUSH 3. When i see this thing in action, it is miles beyond the 2.
But the thing that impresses me most, is that everything that you just showed is INTUITIVE. it all JUST MAKES SENSE. The work that they put into howbits used and the user experience is just astounding. I cant wait to get it
This was ridiculously fantastic. Mad good. Like, if I were to climb on my knees to the top of mountain the Ableton guru there would need to get on his game hard to equal the density of value found here. Gracias amigo.
Just purchased my Push 3 yesterday and your videos are so helpful! Thank you! 🙏🏾
This video is so helpful! I’ve been pulling out my hair with some of these. Thank you!
My pleasure!
Best push3 video I’ve seen so far. Inspiring me to actually use the thing and see how it’s actually probably way more competitive then I previously thought with Mpc, force, maschine+, and elektron boxes. Sick
I’ve just started using a P3 standalone coming from the MPC. Your videos have helped me get going on this platform. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! This and your other tutorial really helped me get started without frustration.
Awesome! Glad they’ve been helpful.
Can you please make a sequel with 67 more tips?
This is gold thanks for the vid!!!😊
fantastic resource. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Glad it was helpful!
this helped speed me up quite a bit on my Push 3, thank you!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you brother 👊
Yes, now I know close to 100% of my Push. Thanks !
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome Job! you should pin timestamps or create chapters for easy access of this
Some really good tips that i havent found out in just over 6 months with my push!
Awesome video, pretty much every push user can benefit from this!
Glad it was helpful!
Grateful for everything you've done!
Glad it’s helpful!
Bookmarked this to refer to it. More like this! And your chords vid
Noted! Will do
Love the videos my friend. New Push 3 user and I am learning a ton. Question for you, can you solo multiple tracks from push 3?
This is really great content man, loved this and your hour walkthrough so much! Very insightful.
Amazing recap! Thanks for this. That pedal trick is also super awesome.
Great way to stay in flow!
powerful stuff,, thanks for taking the time ,
My pleasure!
great video! thanks for this!! really needed :))
You're so welcome!
Excellent
🙏
Awesome video thanks ! One question : Holding select + tapping pads does not hold on the pads I'm trying to select in sequencer + 32 notes layout. Any ideas where that's coming from ?
Super useful
Thanks a lot!
Appreciate this, thanks👊
Excellent! thank you
@metamindmusicofficial can we use grooves on push3 standalone? I see we can apply swing quantize to individual pads on drum rack which is awesome and thanks for showing this as it was a major issue not knowing how to do this and I literally was at an ableton push3 event where i was told you couldn't have different swings per instrument LOL! Question for you, do you know if you have a swing set and use note repeat to record into a clip, then change the swing and record a different instrument will the clip's midi recording keep the swings of the different notes played in and recorded with the swings that were set on each?
Thanks for making the best push3 tutoriaal I've seen. True G!
Buddy I love you but timecodes were mandatory on this video for reharsal 😂
You need to make a Push 3 playlist
Good idea!
Nice
I’m always looking for the one box to get rid of everything else. Sick of gear. Can the push 3 do harsh noise music? Sample mangling? I am used to Octatrack and Eurorack, but wondering if the Push 3 can replace everything else for me.
Can’t find how to save a default midi track. Anyone know if this is possible?
Is it possible to swap pad positions like if I have one sample on pad 1 and another in pad 3 and I want to change one for the other ?
Can the standalone version lower the frequency from 440 HZ to 432 HZ if we are working with sound therapists? I can add a vst plugin to individual tracks in Ableton, but nothing I see shows this could be done in the standalone.
for 16 velcoities i have to repress my selected sound every time i want to trigger it at a new velocity. I can't just press it once at the start and then start playing all the different velocities. Does anyone know what this is happening?
Does the P3 have chord mode like the novation launchpad pro mk3?
Not directly in its UI but there's a ton of M4L devices that can get you there
Wow
OoOoO you CAN group tracks on Push 3. Can you create racks in the same way?
I'm still considering getting one, just trying to understand what is and is not available as new features in comparison to Push 2, which I already have.
do You have Facebook page with videos ? Facebook limits traffic to UA-cam video links and i like to share it to Facebook page related to Ableton Live / thanks for great video !
Glad it was helpful! I have a Facebook group and page for Meta Mind Music - but usually don’t post UA-cam videos there. Noted!
Compared to Push 2 how much more can u do on Push 3 ? Is it like %50 more to justify the price?
Mine is still on the delivery truck as I write this but off the top of my head the 3 has MPE, clip view, the jog wheel, capture button, Adat, it is an audio interface in itself, and has standalone capabilities.
I’d say the biggest features are the MPE pads and the standalone capability / transfer between Live and push. If those aren’t absolute “hells yeahs” then it might not be worth it for you.
İ’m glad that i bpught push 3 and had no other previous models to make that decision 😂 I didn’t by standalone version as I have everything that it offers separately and I use ableton only in my pc so no need for standalone for me.
My main justification for going with the 3 over the 2 im guessing that Ableton 12 will be better integrated with the 3 vs the 2. No clue if this will be true, but I wanted the peace of mind to be future proofed just in case.
So helpful. Well made!
I feel like 69 tips would be a better number though 😂
I love the videos but hate the sound effects and arcade type sounds in the videos. They distract from the videos. This particular video sounds like someone sitting next to you getting text messages every 5 seconds. It’s really annoying, especially if you have AirPods on your ears 🤷🏾♂️
I still keep thinking he’s related to @danocracy
