Peonies and ants are friends!

If you love, peonies, then you must love ants as well. The ants are truly the friend of the peony. That sticky sweet syrup on the peony invites the ants to come and have a little meal and as the ants enjoy that sticky syrup, it helps the peony blossom to bloom so don’t spray the ants off. Welcome them in and if they are still on the bloom when you go to cut it give it a shake you could dunk it in to let them know that it’s time for them to go find another peony to help open.
