Interesting story.
I was today years old when I learned Garak and Scorpio were portrayed by the same character actor, and Garak was adelightfulcharacter. The swing to the Nova was a great stunt. I'm glad the producers stopped sleeping on Rita's singing. Fields and Robinson were given more than good roles in this story.
Robinson also starred in the iconic horror film Hellraiser.
More Star Trek Connections: William Smithers played Captain R.M Merik/First Citizen Merikus in the Star Trek episode "Bread and Circuses" in 1968. So here, we have TOS meets DS9. Wild!
You might be interested to know that my adaptation of "The Captive Tower" as "Spi-Hard" is finished and on my UA-cam Channel.
I believe they recycled the web-net from "The Deadly Dust", but I liked that web-swing onto the car.
The plot is OK enough, but really needs more time to develop. It tries to cram a prison escape and a heist into 45 minutes or so of running time. It might be done (iffy, but, still, maybe), but they also needed a few Spider-Man stunt sequences (the crippled convict fire rescue and Big Time and the car escape), as well as giving the cast showoff (Chip Fields) segments. They also had to give Julie and Jonah screen time.
Now, my big question is how did they put $100,000,000 dollars into those tiny bags?
IIRC, he could adjust the nozzles to change the shape of the webbing.

24:48 I dont take it as him being sexist at all, I take it as not putting an innocent person with no super powers in harms way which literally every super hero would do/does. Dont really see how you draw the line between that and him just not liking her cause shes a girl?? Sorry Irv but a weird take imo
