I’ll never forget the Tickle Cove quiet. No wind that day, water was still, birds were MIA, NO ONE around. It was absolutely surreal. I felt like I was disrupting by simply existing.

Awesome video Adam! It’s never totally quiet. 4 crows arguing, fisher & a raccoon fighting, fast & furious off in the distance. Only one time I heard nothing. Snow, 4F/windchill -10F. It was so silent it was deafening. You could’ve heard a pin drop in the snow. I fall asleep hearing 18 wheelers going by now☺️
Haha that’s the spirit… you may as well just get used to it :)

if it's TOTALLY quiet I know a predator is in the area because all the birds STFU lmao.
Birds are acceptable noise 🤣 but I know what ya mean haha
Oh my gosh so true Adam. I had a neighbor who target practiced with his guns daily. Our lots were 5 acres apart but man was that loud. Snow mobiles in winter and 4x4’s in summer. This info is key for prospective buyers to consider so that they may manage their expectations prior to purchase of land🌲✌🏼😊
Ya guns and 4x4s are not city noises… they can be much worse than that!

Across 4 lakes and 3 portages in Algonquin Park, I could still hear planes and military practice many km away! and everything is so echo!
I always chose the campsite away from the marsh too. Northern Spring Peepers are so LOUD in mai ! 😂
