Jill is my second favorite ghostface cause girl was a full on psycho and I liked her motive on wanting to be the new Sidney. Like that whole sequence of her harming herself was so hilarious especially when she ran into the picture frame. I really enjoy this movie a lot especially I took a lot more appreciation when I rewatched it a lot after I saw scream 5. I had scream 5 higher than 4 but eventually it lost that spot and 4 retook it’s place as my third favorite scream movie.
Jill actually WAS being set up to be "the new Sidney". Kevin Williamson wanted to have it not be revealed she was a killer, and then in 5 we'd continue following her and eventually realize she's Ghostface. Still sad it didn't happen.
Actually, even though there were rewrites, Jill being the killer was still in Williamson script. That would've been a major insult to the audience to do a cliffhanger though.
Nope. Not true. People say this on every Scream 4 video but it's wrong: Jill was ALWAYS intended to be revealed as the killer, even in the earliest treatment and script by Kevin (so-called "Z" script), which was heavily rewritten by Ehren Krueger but still retained Jill as the killer. I wish people would stop perpetuating this urban myth. It's simply not true.

It would have made for a great storyline, but naturally the Weinstein's mucked it all up for Kevin.
Fun fact, Wes Craven did the Anthony Anderson death scene in the movie from an actual event of a man getting stabbed in the forehead and walking a few feet and killing over… so according to WC I’d has/can happen

@@xtronvultron4811 They confirmed that the actress Hayden Panettiere has been confirmed for scream six and there is an Easter egg in scream five that shows where Kirby lived.
You haven't seen "I know what you did last summer" There's 3 of them. There like the scream movies. But i would say just the first one is really good. And its also one of the movies that scary movie is spoofing
Also there was a connection to Trevor and the girl in the beginning that no one seems to catch 🤣. If you go back and listen to the dialogue. Jill pretty much pulled a page from Stus book 😂
You must have seen that Emma Roberts was in Scream Queens - not the original Scream. Scream Queens was a Ryan Murphy show that has nothing to do with this franchise. Loved this reaction. You finding out Jill is one of the killers was the best! So glad you are enjoying this franchise. One of my favorites.
Wes Cravens original plan before he died was to make Kirby, the short haired blonde girl, live and the new movies were going to be about her. This is not a spoiler- in scream five there is a Easter egg when one of the teens is on UA-cam the video on the side says interview with Woodsborough Survivor Kirby read so she must not have died….. and a couple of days ago they announced that she, Hayden Panettiere, the actress who played Kirby has signed on for screams 6.
I was SO happy to find that out when I saw it. She was one of my fav characters in the series so I'm curious what they are going to do with her character.
THANK YOU when I first saw this movie Trevor was my number one suspect and I was shocked out of my damn mind who the main killer was I kept feeling like she needed to be protected the sweet innocent kid oh how I misjudged a crazy bitch! The sidekick I was like okay that came out of left field kind of the biggest shock for me with him though was the fact that he attacked Kirby cuz I knew he had a huge crush on her. By the way I know you're watching some Disney movies now I don't know if you're doing that on the regular but Hayden panettiere also is a singer and she did one of the songs for Cinderella 3 a twist in Time and there is a music video at the end of the movie, I still believe in destiny it was freaking adorable but I don't really know if I've seen her in much else as far as like TV and movies I know she's done other things I just don't think it's lined up with anything I've seen but as for Kristen Bell one of my favorite movies she was in as an actress was a lifetime movie and I'm not really a girl who lives for lifetime movies this is like the only one I've ever watched more than once I actually own it on DVD it's called Gracie's choice highly recommend it's about a girl who was abused and neglected by her mom and basically left to raise her siblings who are all half siblings by whoever her mom's f****** that week.
There's also deleted scenes of Scream 4 on UA-cam aswell. After Marnie and Jenny were killed they were staged in the livingroom. Marnie was hung from the ceiling fan like how Casey was hung from the tree in Scream 96 and Jenny was sitting in a chair like Steve. Wes Craven also did a tiny pop up cameo as a coroner at Marnie and Jenny crime scene. Olivia had a pet door around her neck and Dewey told Deputy Hicks about his sister Tatum. One of my other favorite I wish they kept is the movie is the whole friend group except for Jill were sitting at a fountain talking about the events similar to Scream 96.
I finally got to watch it😍😍😍😍😍😍 scream4 is my favorite of all time man!!! 💞 Jill Roberts did her shit and is mainly the reason why I love scream 4💯 Thanks for reacting to it! ❤️
'I don't know why I'm always surprised when people get stabbed in these movies' while watching a Scream movie... it might just be because I'm a little stoned but fuck that made me laugh so much.
Dewey and Gale's relationship always kind of mirrored the real life relationship of Courteney Cox and David Arquette, they met and fell for each other in scream 1, scream 2 they were dating, scream 3 they were already married, and they eventually divorced in 2011, same year as Scream 4. Anyway great reaction, got a new fan here.
My favorite BTS information, the line “I'm gonna slit your eyelids in half so you don't blink when I stab you in the face” was not in the script. Roger Jackson improved that line and if you notice Sidney’s (Neve’s) reaction, you’ll see her true reaction to what he said as she didn’t expect that. She even approached him after and called him a sick f**k lol
Will watch this later but I challenge everyone to watch this movie and consider that it’s structure should have been what The Force Awakens is for Star Wars. Legacy characters trying to survive in a new world while new characters grapple with similar issues of their “parents” but not sidelining either. The meta message in this is really great. It’s funny, it’s fun. A really good addition
I'm not really a Star wars fan I have watched the original trilogy I don't remember much of it I've never watched the prequel or sequel trilogies or any of the offshoot s*** the best thing about Star wars as far as I'm concerned is the lightsabers I don't know much about the relationships and other species and all that s***
In my opinion the Scream movies all deliver. Not a bad movie in the bunch. They always find a way to subvert your expectations on the killers and always manage to mix the horror, comedy, and meta commentary together to make them all entertaining and fun to watch and rewatch.
So the officer Perkins that got stabbed in the skull. I can't remember if it was Wes Craven or Kevin Williamson that came across this guy at a hospital that was stabbed like he was and actually survived it. The guy even drove himself to the hospital lol. So they used that story as one of the kill scenes.
I'm so relieved you didn't recognize Emma Roberts or had seen her in her later TV show appearances, or it would have given a lot away. Before this movie, she had been typecast as the Good Girl character a lot, so it came as a surprise for everyone with the twist at the end! But she does a great job.
man ima be honest i relaly wounder how all the previous Ghostface killers would have reacted to this but mainly Billy and stu because they started this whole thing
The lighting in this movie was horrible, the brightness didn't do it for me, but overall It was a solid scream movie. I loved it❤ but I still put scream 5 above 4. Curious on your thoughts and reaction. Patiently waiting for you to do scream 5.
Scream 4 was my least favourite. It was way too jokey at times. I was laughing more than getting scared watching it. And I guessed from very early on who the killers were since marketing tried so hard with selling the idea that Jill was going to be the face of the franchise going forward and I remember going after reading those interviews, "She's 100% the killer and they're to trick us into thinking Sidney dies and she'll be the main character in the sequels. Not happening." which kinda ruined the mood for me having this mindset of who it was beforehand. Not to mention they reveal thart she has a Aunt and Cousin who live in the same town as she did in the first film and yet we never saw or heard of them. It was way too obvious when you sit down and think about that her cousin would be one of the main killers. After the three previous films its too obvious. When you've studied media, film and writing, you can tell instantly what the twist in a story is gonna be half the time and how the marketing works around selling a concept lol. I loved Scream 5 so I hope you like that one too but I hated this one,.
I don't know that it was implied they lived with her I think it was just implied that they came over to watch a video with her and he happened to propose on the porch cuz that was definitely Sydney's house

You may like it but there’s a reason is generally disliked (unless you think IMDb is a valid source of how people actually think of a movie/show) and flopped as well. Also, it’s been a pretty overused line how horror needs to step it up and not just in 2015, don’t know what your point is lol.
Again, it’s a good, trashy tv show but amazing? Those standards must be pretty low.
Kirby will be in scream 6
yep
Bruh what? lol 😂
@@xtronvultron4811 it's true she is returning
@@xtronvultron4811 They confirmed that the actress Hayden Panettiere has been confirmed for scream six and there is an Easter egg in scream five that shows where Kirby lived.
@@xtronvultron4811 Wes Craven originally planned on making her live in this one but then he died
Jill running into the picture cracks me every time. Idky. 🤣
I was having a bad day. Perfecting timing! Love your videos! 👍🏻
My ranking is Scream 1, Scream 3, Scream 2, scream 5 and then 4 but they’re all good so it’s okay :)
Jill is the best Ghostface ever (my opinion)
Luckily, it's confirmed she survived this and she's back for the 6th movie
My favorite line in this movie
"Fk Bruce willis" 🤣
Easily my second favourite out of the series (1, 4, 3, 2, 5) “Who invited you, Trevor?! Get out of my house!” Lol
LMFAOOOO how many times it got you in the beginning but I can’t lie it got me too first time watching 😂😂💀
Just a little context: the next movie is the only movie in the scream franchise that’s not directed by Wes Craven because he passed away in 2015
And the award for the worst shot ever goes to… Sheriff Dewey Riley! Lmao! I always wondered how he got that job myself.
I finally got to watch it😍😍😍😍😍😍 scream4 is my favorite of all time man!!! 💞 Jill Roberts did her shit and is mainly the reason why I love scream 4💯 Thanks for reacting to it! ❤️
This won't spoil 5
Jill a hero in my eyes
This my fave Ghostface killer
'I don't know why I'm always surprised when people get stabbed in these movies' while watching a Scream movie... it might just be because I'm a little stoned but fuck that made me laugh so much.
Dewey and Gale's relationship always kind of mirrored the real life relationship of Courteney Cox and David Arquette, they met and fell for each other in scream 1, scream 2 they were dating, scream 3 they were already married, and they eventually divorced in 2011, same year as Scream 4. Anyway great reaction, got a new fan here.
The kill where the cop got stabbed in the head and was still alive actually happened in real life with someone so they put it in the movie
I saw Scream 4 twelve times in theatres. Including once in IMAX. I had Jill pegged as a killer before even watching the movie. Lol
I gotta switch to blunts during your vids bruh...u always catch me mid bowl hit with some funny shit and I end blowin hot nugz everywhere lol
Lmao
I hated the lighting in this movie, looks like there’s always sunlight hitting them or something 😂
Bruh everything in this movie just looks over lit and unreasonably hot or under lit like they dipped the camera lenses in vaseline.
Yea the coloring of the movie is not a scream movie at all.
@@Sebastian__. Wes Craven did it on purpose
It’s called being ✨dramatic✨ lmao
@@remimakesmusic it still sucks, just because something is intentional doesn’t make it look less bad.
Jill's reveal is iconic
Every scream movie you be like (insert actors name) “it could be them” Lol
Facts 😂
Scream 4 was released on my birthday
I was waiting for this reaction!!
In my opinion the Scream movies all deliver. Not a bad movie in the bunch. They always find a way to subvert your expectations on the killers and always manage to mix the horror, comedy, and meta commentary together to make them all entertaining and fun to watch and rewatch.
This was my first scream. It was just on tv and I was left alone and I watched it. So this one I really enjoy but it could just be me!
Have you watched the others yet? I highly recommend watching them. They’re great!
@@Megan-ir3ze oh yes Ofc! I should’ve said when I was younger it was the first one I’d seen. As of now I’ve seen them all :)
This movie was so ahead of its time that it could've been made today with social media and influencer culture. My personal favorite of the sequels!
hayden panettiere who plays Kirby is well known for her role in remember the Titans. She played the coaches daughter
Feel better man
Wait til you watch the next one. I fuckin love it dude
There is a new scram5 out
This movie is great, best plot twist with Jill being the killer in the franchise.
lets go man 4 down 1 to go
The scream movies are consistent. I like the hospital scene.
You should take a look a MTVs scream TV series. Pretty solid actually.
Ayo bro make sure to watch the newest one from this year ur going to love it
This was a damn good sequel
Can wait for scream 5 reaction will be dope
I'm so relieved you didn't recognize Emma Roberts or had seen her in her later TV show appearances, or it would have given a lot away. Before this movie, she had been typecast as the Good Girl character a lot, so it came as a surprise for everyone with the twist at the end! But she does a great job.
will u be doing the series?
Not right now no
man ima be honest i relaly wounder how all the previous Ghostface killers would have reacted to this but mainly Billy and stu because they started this whole thing
You should watch Scream TV series after that. Really worth it. In my opinion it's much better than movies themselves👍
The lighting in this movie was horrible, the brightness didn't do it for me, but overall It was a solid scream movie. I loved it❤ but I still put scream 5 above 4. Curious on your thoughts and reaction. Patiently waiting for you to do scream 5.
@MechaMobius your opinion is your opinion
@MechaMobius I think 4 is better, but I don’t think it was a let down. Just curious why it was a let down to you.
@@john.c.munoz04 I like that point of view from you
@MechaMobius I agree, I liked it but the killer reveals were so obvious
hey primate, holy I’m early. Love from Australia 🇦🇺💚
I still don’t know how Dewey made it to be a cop his aim is horrible but he did manage to kill Roman LMAO
Hayden is hot af, but her haircut in this.......🤦🏼♂️ lmao love you're reaction bro
Can't wait untill he sees scream 5
my ranking goes scream, scream 4, scream 5 scream 2, scream 3
Does kate love sid more then jill?
Scream 5 🗣🗣🗣
I don't know that it was implied they lived with her I think it was just implied that they came over to watch a video with her and he happened to propose on the porch cuz that was definitely Sydney's house
yaye Cant wait for your 5 review !
Of course clear is the best comeback line
You need to watch 28 Days Later. I promise you won’t regret.
Plan to one day!
apparently the stab in the forehead is legit possible to still be moving for a few minutes
She is the niece of Julia Roberts, star of Pretty Woman.
It's crazy how everyone has love for all the scream movies. This is my least favorite but I still love it alot.
You say this movie is brutal, so you should watch scream 2022 LOL
Love ya bro
Fun fact: Trevor is actually wearing the same colour scheme as Sydneys Dad in the first film.
