There he stated that it wasn't really a troll but more like a test or case study on how would dobson react to this situation. The commissioner didn't ask for a lot of revisions, dobson was just really lazy, finding excuses and proceeds victim blame. This is a test to see how Andrew Dobson aka self proclaimed "professional artist" would react in a professional situation in a professional industry.

He could've been something... but the problem is that his jokes were all terrible and low-hanging, and he never actually pushed himself to be better. Now, by itself it's completely fine. A character facing their parents killer would bring some emotions out of them. However, there's one small problem... Samus has fought Ridley before, in Metroid 1, and in Super Metroid. The games Other M is sequel to.

That game was doomed the moment the director said he was taking inspiration from modern western comics. 2) Said director responsible for the mismanagement of Doa6 doesn't work for team ninja anymore and will probably never be a director again since he was demoted to producer (which a demotion like that in Japan is an embarrassment) 3) The point I'm trying to make is that you can hate on Team Ninja, but hate them for something they did because the gameplay was actually the only good thing about Other M. The story, character progression, level design and bosses were all Nintendo.

I once heard someone describe Bob's love for Other M as "a predatory male feminist liking a strong woman when she's forced to do as she's told." Always a pleasure seeing someone talk about ol' Doblet. I find your style of videos refreshing. You don't go around and talk for hours about "introducing" Dobby and others, you simply recollect the greatest hits in really fun way, I wish more people did this. After being very aware of Dobson's madness, I enjoy going through his stuff in a video like this, but I wouldn't watch another 2 hour long summary of his life.

I had forgotten about the goggles thing until I saw one of my own giraffes in this video. It's a part of the Dobson lore that I think gets undeservedly ignored most of the time. Now let's be honest though, wasting someone's time as an artist for a commission you have no intention of paying for IS pretty fucking disruptive, as someone who does do commissions myself you tend to build up a schedule, you tend to have an idea of what you're going to be working on and when, and let's be real this shit doesn't exactly pay you the same way doing UA-cam or streaming would. I can say on my own part that I've had to deal with this, not as a prank but simply because people don't want to pay the amount that was agreed upon, so when you're late on several commissions due to having to go back and change shit and then after all that you don't even get paid, that can fuck up your whole deal, pretty quickly if you're reliant on that money you're going to start being late on paying your bills, and that can quickly snowball into a bigger. Personally I wouldn't go this far just to try to get a rise from someone who is clearly already way too easy to anger, considering you could get more with less, while also not having to screw with someone's ability to pay for their own expenses. By all means, troll as much as you want, but preferrably keep your hands away from other people's bread, so to speak.

2) Said director responsible for the mismanagement of Doa6 doesn't work for team ninja anymore and will probably never be a director again since he was demoted to producer (which a demotion like that in Japan is an embarrassment)
3) The point I'm trying to make is that you can hate on Team Ninja, but hate them for something they did because the gameplay was actually the only good thing about Other M. The story, character progression, level design and bosses were all Nintendo.

I had forgotten about the goggles thing until I saw one of my own giraffes in this video. It's a part of the Dobson lore that I think gets undeservedly ignored most of the time. His obsessively deleting all the doodles when they were mostly harmless fun is so hilarious. I remember having a good time drawing with others and screenshotting everything before he could remove it.
Now let's be honest though, wasting someone's time as an artist for a commission you have no intention of paying for IS pretty fucking disruptive, as someone who does do commissions myself you tend to build up a schedule, you tend to have an idea of what you're going to be working on and when, and let's be real this shit doesn't exactly pay you the same way doing UA-cam or streaming would. I can say on my own part that I've had to deal with this, not as a prank but simply because people don't want to pay the amount that was agreed upon, so when you're late on several commissions due to having to go back and change shit and then after all that you don't even get paid, that can fuck up your whole deal, pretty quickly if you're reliant on that money you're going to start being late on paying your bills, and that can quickly snowball into a bigger. Personally I wouldn't go this far just to try to get a rise from someone who is clearly already way too easy to anger, considering you could get more with less, while also not having to screw with someone's ability to pay for their own expenses. By all means, troll as much as you want, but preferrably keep your hands away from other people's bread, so to speak.
