Not really, he was robotic all the way through. Only when the inhibitors are broken by those explosions does he go apeshit. Before then, the only way to piss him off a little is by shooting off his hat and you can argue that is also part of the inhibition gear (though mostly just an easter egg).

One was ordered/programmed to secure the G-virus sample (that one is T-00/Mr.X) and the remaining five to kill a Delta Force group at the Incineration Disposal Plant. So by "old" lore, only one Tyrant stalked the suvivors in RE2. Funfact: in RE3:Nemesis , while moving trough said Incineration plant, one can see all 5 other T-103 dead as part of the pre rendered backround (all dead). But..Imagen the Delta Force group..suddenly having to deal with 5 of them.

I can understand a theme like this for Birkin, because Birkin is a horrible creature who’s mind and body has been warped beyond recognition, all because of his stubbornness to not give up and preserve things that should have never been created.
