Dude,.. my 11 joule mod one arrived from shipping way earlier than anticipated, and the projectiles I ordered for it still hadn’t even been shipped. Initially, out of shear lack of patience,.. Incidentally, I happen to have loads of paraffin wax and one of my dad’s old .50 caliber lead bullet molds kicking around and so the wheels turned in my head, and began melting some paraffin wax in an old tea kettle and filling the mold and making one slug at a time, and then cutting the extra to length away once loaded in the cylinder mag and remedying the excess. Certainly, using my dad’s old slug mold and making one at a time is not the most efficient way imaginable to make em, but for the sake of intents and purposes and experimentation. I was expecting them to perform about as well as hot glue or whatever else,… and as I was making them,.. the neighbor teen whom shares my airgun hobby and pals around came over, so we made up a bunch of variations of the wax slugs with lead bird shot, pellets or whatever imaginable,.. and loaded up the different cylinder mags with all sorts. We took em out to my target range, and in actuality the purely paraffin wax slugs outperformed our wildest expectations. Some of the other variants performed alright, mostly, but not even close to the degree of extra time and and extra materials to merit it being worthwhile, because the pure paraffin ones still exceeded all of them in accuracy, velocity and impact. We were actually sort of dumbfounded and startled at how damned powerful they seemed. In fact,… I certainly wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of the wax slugs or even suggest they are potentially a very devastating round, even un-augmented with other components. From my initial impressions, I reckon, it is because they form a tight seal, are self lubricating, and that the nature of paraffin might have some instance of ‘dieseling’ occurring on the backend, providing additional energy to the rest of the slug. More experimentation with it is probably required to know for certain though.

I totally agree, very little gun crime here in France. Most gun deaths are caused by the chasse/hunt, and normally after lunch when they have had a gutful of brandy.
As an American...I don't feel sorry for them at all. They are totally different nations, with totally different histories, cultures...pretty much every metric is different. MOST other nations - especially those in Europe - have far lower crime than we do. Not "gun crime", but CRIME. BUT - since we do have more crime, it is a very, very good thing that here we CAN be armed, if we so choose. And depending on where you live, that can vary from a good cautionary choice, to a downright necessity. So I don't look down on another country for making a different choice; their nation, their laws...their choice entirely. Pretty sure that if the majority of the people of any country in Europe (or anywhere, actually) really wanted to legalize guns, they would have done so by now. The fact that they haven't means that they simply don't see the need for it. I respect their right to determine their own path; all I ask for is a return of that respect.
@@arekpetrosian4965 I can appreciate your position, but... You're right the number of crimes committed with a firearm is very low, but the number of crimes that occor involving an edged weapon is super high.

Ammo is bit pricy, real ammo is cheper atleast 9mm and even 45 acp.
Nice vid, thank you.
This isn't a "plinker" it's a real self defense air pistol revolver approaching .22 LR levels of power once modified.
@@EvanXDev i watched some videos about modificated versions and it seems like they can reach about +20 joules.
22lr does about +150 joules, from pistol.
also, that think shoots 50 cal (12.7mm) rubber-steel balls, 22lr shoots 22cal (5.6mm) lead ammo, that penetrates much better.
For my that is not a serious self defence tool, it is a nice plinker/toy to play with.
If i would need a self defence tool, well 12cal pump shotgun, or service calibre pistol would be my choice, on a pinch i would even rather have a pointy stick than that.
@@Taisteluhamsteri hahaha. I’m with you 💯 on those points brother. And the pointy stick. 12 gauge shotgun is king 👑
@@EvanXDev no its not !
That's impressive for a handheld air gun.

Actually I have the ball makers for the hot glue it's actually fun to do you can do anything you could put a nail through it you can use broken glass in the hot glue you can use any size ball bearing as long as it fits in mag
Did that round just bounce off the board ?? Zero penetration?? How is this home defense. Someone would run right through it.
Presumably those were at the end of the co2 pressure range. Also that looks like it may be a piece of mdf so if its been outside long then not overly strong anyway
They are very painful they also shoot pepper balls
Only “Hell Boy” would run right through it .that would penetrate someone ‘s skin easily
Those "bae bae's" & "wubble bowls" are pretty scary. 😅. J/k bro, good video.👍

do you have an exact diameter of these rounds? I have an after market barrel on my hdr and it is tighter than the stock barrel..

Hi mate looked at the website, seems like they wont ship this product to the UK. Any advice?
Sorry, I don't know what to suggest. You could try making your own, with a mold, some resin and some large BB's.
Co2 is temperature sensitive, that's probably where the difference in shot count comes from
5:01. What’s so interesting inside the barrel- eye surgery voucher?
A blind person could tell I wasn’t looking down the barrel.
Me: Still got a little bit of gas left.....
My wife: noooooooo
In this house the wife is full of gas, she never shuts up.
Great work Sir thank you
Air compression can produce so much more energy than these guns. I dont understand why "self defense" air pistols/rifles are so underpowered. This gun looks fantastic as a toy, but if the goal is to genuinely defend yourself, then it seems a bit lacking. A paintball gun with hard ammo would likely be better
Because it can be upgraded to a larger pressure chamber ...from 7 to 20 or so Jouls
Any recommendations for an air compression firearm?

Hi mate I purchased this the other day it didn't come with a manual. Do you have to oil the gun up or anything?I have no idea with what maintance is required for this gun. Hope you can help
I just put a drop of pellet gun oil on the end of the CO2 cartridge and thats about it, keeps the seals lubricated.

I'm so glad I live in America because that things a toy. I wish everyone had a second amendment because guns are the greatest tool known to man

I feel so sorry for countries that lost their right to bear arms.
yes , it's awful having virtually no gun crime whatsoever.
I totally agree, very little gun crime here in France. Most gun deaths are caused by the chasse/hunt, and normally after lunch when they have had a gutful of brandy.
I wonder if criminals use these in Europe?
Awesome Video !!! If you got shot with those devastator rounds it could be deadly at close range. The TR50 11 joules version only would be a very good choice for self defense. Me personally would fill a mag with one pepper then a devastator round so 3 pepper and 3 devastators I think that would be an attackers nightmare they would be temporary blind and bleeding LOL
