- You've heard a lot about this place and you probably think it's slightly overrated...well i'm here to tell you that is not. It's everything you would hope to find in a nightclub and more. There's community, there's energy, there's excitement and it's pure and utter all over the dance floor!
If you haven't been I implore you to go, at least 1x in your lifetime, I promise you will not regret it.

Man I always get butterflies in my stomach watching videos about berghain. It is heaven on earth! I'm going this weekend, excitement has already fully kicked in. I try to go every 2 months from the uk.

Omg I got in for the 15th birthday of Berghain it was insane! They just know!!! I got in the weekend before as well my soul is still there! NORMAN NODGE RODHEAD MARCEL DETTMANN!
I thought I would get rejected I but I genuinely do like techno- the bouncer told me to smile I was so fucking nervous haha!
Germany's great for outdoor events. I went out to the forest outside my compound in Eberstadt for a walk the first weekend I moved in. I got lost and emerged from the wilds into backstage a rave in Gross Gerau with Sven Vath, DJ Dag and others.
Went up to Frankfurt the next weekend stopped people in the street asking for a decent club and was pointed to Omen, Sven Vath again.
I found Berghain friendlier than Omen TBH.
That’s me sold Berlin here I come. I’ve always had the motto try everything once and this is definitely something I wanna try hopefully any of my mates would be down for going this summer
Dont try getting in with more then 2 person, thats what i would recommend you.

Hey I’m planning my visit to Berghain and I was wondering if I can still get in after sunday midnight? I’ll propably arrive to Berlin on sunday afternoon so I’m just thinking if I can make it to Berghain that weekend…?
yeah you'll be fine, from what i know last entry on sunday is anytime before the last dj's start time. and usually around that time there's no queue so you will not have to wait long.

Only 1x when I went with a large group of male friends from London but luckily when I go on my own I always get it in 🙌

Ha, that's not a cringe question at all. No you do not have to speak any German to get in. It's one of the most popular clubs in the world, people from everywhere visit and most don't speak German. The main criteria is just your overall "vibe" so just make sure you behave yourself in line, don't be too overly aggressive and once you get to the door quietly smile and wait for the bouncers/door pickers to make a decision. The selection process is a bit random but once you get in you'll understand why. Good luck!

Been there. Wasn't anything special. Old lighting, too much drugs being forced to people and a whole lot of gay acts happening in there. I left there disgusted. Definitely overhyped
