As far as your tuning goes for your kick drums, how tight are your batter kick heads? I want a nice punchy sound like that
Kick drum tuning is as loose as possible. Not tight at all. Remo powerstroke pro heads + Danmar kickpads. Foam dampening inside touching head and resonant head.
Sounds great man. Are your hi hats lightweight or something? I see you have a clutch. Do you have a spring in there to stop the hi hats from fully closing?
They are Zildjian Dyno Beat Hi Hats and they are probably the heaviest and thickest Hi Hats you can buy. They lie loose on each other, no spring or anything.
@@DruBaGuiCovers Ah ok thanks. I was asking because I use a clutch and when I drop it the hi hats become fully closed. I thought it was because they are heavy hi hats. You know any way to get to sit loose?
@@lewisrichards3083 loosen the screw of the hi hat clutch that is holding the top hi hat
