the thing that makes me want to get this as my first hitbox is that i dont need to spend 30-35$ on an adapter. like, it works with xbox and ps4?! without spending over 50$?!
@@hotjoesepi yup! Just need a controller. Down the line you can get those adapters tho since its better then having a long wire sticking out the front.
@@FrankieJPlays ya but when your new to hitbox and are looking at 70-80$ hitboxes and you see you will need an extra 25$ for only 1 console, its a huge help
@@hotjoesepi it really is that’s why i highly recommend this as a first leverless especially with how much you can customize it later. You can even revert it back to a fightstick they have the compatibility of sticks on the description. Try it out brotha it’s through amazon so you can always yeet it back.
@@duxnihilo last i checked they don’t provide the dualshock 4 flash they try to walk you theough how to do it on the site since they work with gp2040 firmware directly.
When the f500 launched I was in the market for a new leverless, I was using that cheap $55 leverless Frankie recommended like a year ago, but instead of ordering the F500 I ordered the Haute42 T16 and the R16. Both are great but my friend got the F500 flat and talked me into spending the $90. This is what I should have done from the beginning. The layout is really perfect for my hands and the button size. The T16 I also really enjoy if I dont want to play with a controller in my lap. The R16 layout just didn't work great for me personally but its still good. Another couple of reasons I love this controller is because of 2 small details. This controller was made for modding. Inside the case there is a diagram showing what wires go where. But the bigger surprise is there is a ferrite choke on the cable which is overkill but an awesome thing for them to do. However with that said I wish the cable was removeable. The ferrite choke is probably why its not removeable. I do plan on drilling a hole and adding my own USB C port though. My only other complaint is I wish there was more rubber/foam on the bottom but this can be added easily. All in all this is an amazing controller for the price and I highly recommend it.
@@x9x9x9x9x9 the cable is replaceable and you can remove it after unplugging it from the board i show it in the video. you can also use the usb port on top and keep it plugged in. I still have yet to get my haute42 samples to review i honestly think they don’t like me they have told me for months that they want me to do a video but the products are sold out. Yet new products and videos come out all the time but i can’t get the 1 controller they offered? It’s cool that they work directly with the gp2040-ce team but besides that they have left a sour taste in my mouth.
@@FrankieJPlays what I meant by removable cable is easily removable without needing to take it apart. I like to leave my cable plugged into my PC and then just plug in my box when I want to play. That sucks Haute keeps doing that to you. If they ever respond to my email I'll mention your name in a positive light if you want.
@@PirateJamm they provide a set of wires but you should already have a usb A to usb C wire laying around your house. Pretty much every device uses it nowadays. You can also buy one of their adapters as mentioned in the video if you don’t want to have a wire & controller attached they go for 20-35$

So to use this on Xbox you need an Xbox controller and a wire? Does this wire come with the box? Or do you buy separately?
