To people who wonder how Tomoko could mistake Joseph: When Joseph banged Tomoko, it was 5 years before SDC. He may have been bare shaven. He may have been practicing Hamon and still looked young. Jotaro is only half japanese. He's got similar eyecolor as Joseph. He's of same height. He's of similar build. Joestar face (and body) genes strong. It is my headcanon that Joseph feeling remorseful for cheating on Suzie, stopped practicing Hamon and grew old together with Suzie, and also growing a beard. Also 5 years is enough to change hair color from just having some grey around the temples, to have mostly full on grey hair, in particular together with stopping doing hamon. Some people, even without the hamon, ages drastic over just a few years. It is like they go, no aging, no aging, no aging.. then boom! old! That's how life is.

joseph came by himself, but jotaro was going to take the oportunity to ask him to take a spirit picture of akira, but it ended up not even needing it, couldnt he ask to take one of kira later on? nah, araki forgot he could dot that
@@InfernosReaper Jonathan is a very tolerant person he don't trash people. Also why Jotaro would stay with Tomoko? He is the target (because he is a stand user, not Tomoko) And this is a Joseph problem anyway, Jotaro is already being too nice helping joseph.
@@lain5858 Jotaro wasn't a target for anyone before he took down Angelo. Meanwhile, Josuke is a stand user, which will attract attention anyway, but Josuke can't be home watching over things all the time, because of school. @@InfernosReaper Yeah, Stand users attract each other And you would know that Jotaro was working together with Speedwagon Foundation tracking down all possible dangerous Stand users in Morioh and the arrows (that he was already searching for years with polnareff) That's why Jotaro knew about the ratts, already had all Angelo's profile and Josuke started to be a target because Jotaro was there searching for the arrows. @@lain5858 He had a profile on Angelo because the dude showed up in a spirit photography pic and they did research on him as a result. It's not that they had profiles on stand users. He wasn't even certain if he actually was a stand user or not. . Stand users attract other stand users and there's *already* one at that household, because Josuke is one. . Josuke was a target of Angelo, because he got in the way of Angelo's fun earlier, not because he was looking for the stand arrow. Beating Angelo is what brought Josuke into a bigger conflict involving stand users. . As for "coordinating with the Speedwagon foundation" they really didn't do much, because they missed pretty much every stand user in that whole damn town and might as well have not even been there. . Most of Jotaro's time really is not doing anything. As for Josuke, similar case, but once he finds out about Kira, he does do more. . As for Tomoko, Jotaro says that if Joseph had been there, the death of her father could've been prevented, but the same could be said for if he had been there as well. . Knowing that there were threats, it seems tactically foolish to stay at a hotel that's literally nowhere near *anything*. Johnathan wouldn't have left that household vulnerable just because he didn't want to deal with annoying people. . If Jotaro had been there, when Josuke captured Angelo's stand, it could've gone straight to Jotaro instead of being left out where it could be found.
Oh my God I never deeped that, I always just thought she was simply disappointed that she didn't get to see Joseph again, but now that you mention it she was probably going through a lot considering that her dad just died a few days ago and now she's learning that the she was just the side chick of the only person she ever loved. Tomoko's life is so much more tragic than I ever realised it was, I'm surprised she still manages to function as a human being
I saw some interesting comments regarding that it takes Araki time to learn to write decent backstories; but you have to bear in mind that JJBA started in 1986 close to around when the original DB series did, the big thing at the time was fights more than story, and by the time you reach part 6, his writing style is evolving to include more backstories, but part one did have more story focus than fight focus- Zeppeli's backstory, literally in the first few chapters there's more focus on the back and forth between Jonathan and Dio, so ultimately his writing style evolves to work out some backstory but he eventually works it back in. I think I've seen it somewhere where he wanted to go into Kakyoin's backstory, but when we get his monologue before the final big fight with Dio felt like a bad place and he turned it into a monologue instead. I think it's wrong to solely blame the creators because often times, they feel the need to follow certain trends in the time period in question to make sure their story gets read. It's why I consider part 1 kinda underrated and my favorite part because he did so much on the psychological end with Dio manipulating the people around Jojo. Part three made it popular but Part 1 made it possible for Part 3 to do that.
I suppose is just because they wanna show us how Tomoko love Joseph, but without making interacting she with he, because.... i don't know, maybe because could be weird... i mean, she is a young mother, Joseph is a oldman.

All Joestar men are suppose to look a lot like each other. In part 2 Speedwagon and Erina bring up how much Joseph looks like Jonathan. Josuke when he meets Jotaro thinks he looks like him. There's this clip confirming that Jotaro looks like Joseph. Then in Part 5 Koichi comments on how Giorno looks a lot like Jotaro.

Fun fact: while Tomoko's still mistaking Jotaro for Joseph, "Purple Thorns" (Joseph's part 3 theme) is playing in the background. Once Jotaro clears up the misunderstanding, that music abruptly stops, and "Travelers Who Rest" (the Chilltaro theme) starts playing

Jotaro is the only introvert, who's not lazy. He does what he must, but never does more than he should

Jonathan is truly ashamed of is lineage.
Yes. He'd have given Jotaro a good trashing for leaving that woman alone knowing there's danger about.
@@InfernosReaper
Jonathan is a very tolerant person he don't trash people.
Also why Jotaro would stay with Tomoko?
He is the target (because he is a stand user, not Tomoko)
And this is a Joseph problem anyway, Jotaro is already being too nice helping joseph.
@@lain5858 Jotaro wasn't a target for anyone before he took down Angelo. Meanwhile, Josuke is a stand user, which will attract attention anyway, but Josuke can't be home watching over things all the time, because of school.
Jotaro should have tried to hang around to watch over them, but he spends most of the series not doing anything in his hotel room until he has no choice but to go out.
@@InfernosReaper
Yeah, Stand users attract each other
And you would know that Jotaro was working together with Speedwagon Foundation tracking down all possible dangerous Stand users in Morioh and the arrows (that he was already searching for years with polnareff)
That's why Jotaro knew about the ratts, already had all Angelo's profile
and Josuke started to be a target because Jotaro was there searching for the arrows. Even red hot user said it.
Also did you just forget SHA arc?
Who was walking around trying to find some evidence on Shingeshi's death? lol
Jotaro and Rohan bassicaly did all the detective work
Jotaro even catch Kira's father but Okyasu being stupid just let him go.
Again, Jotaro talked to Tomoko just to help joseph.
Joseph's affairs was not even his problem 🙄
I think you mean "Josuke bassicaly spend half of this part trying to get money until he has no choice and help to fight Kira"

Tomoko's life is so much more tragic than I ever realised it was, I'm surprised she still manages to function as a human being
She probably thought Joseph got back into his Hamon training :P
How would Tomoko (Josuke's mom) ever know about Joseph's Hamon training? Like what, before/after they fucked they had a Q&A or something?!

Shockwave3456 like tomoko would have extensive knowlege about this

Damn, it's kind of sad how down bad she is.
