The thing I find funny is that everyone thinks they know what Tobias is all about, but just when you think you know, something happens and everyone has to face the reality that Tobias is usually about 5 steps ahead of everyone else. I don't care if their music is called metal/rock or whatever. They kick ass. Perfectly constructed songs. The Swedes have a gift for melody and song construction. Don't believe me? Go listen to ABBA.....that's right ABBA. Even Tobias knows about the genius of ABBA.
ABBA is easily one of my favorite bands, not one bad song!

Well…being called "Nameless Ghouls" and have a front man that portrays an "Anti-Pope", all the while staying anonymous (until recently). I guess you can call that having some leeway on acting however you want on interviews or on stage

+JN Tobias has a tremendous voice range. In his previous bands, he sang death metal vocals to later some light indie-vocals and now this amazing shit. Not only can he make amazing music on his own, he has the precious voice in the world. No autotunes, no gliches. It's all metal, not pop haha :P
It hits you in the right places
Most if not all proper metal singers who sing and growl not just growl, are good singers. Metal isn't an autotube heavy genre

@@elijahcaon8094 Really? That surprises me. I don't know a lot about metal, but I do know that autotune is practically a necessity in pop, regardless of how good your singing actually is. A lot of people who listen to pop artists don't realize the vocals have been autotuned because they know the singer is good and assume it's unnecessary or because they assume all autotune is obvious and they would hear it. I guess the mainstream audience expects a REALLY clean sound while music like metal wasn't really about that sanitized sound to begin with. I should look into metal production 🤔

I feel like everyone that’s commenting about how shitty Ghost are don’t understand the term “musical diversity”. They’ve got some really nice music in their catalogue, you just gotta be willing to listen to it without judgment.

I'm curious as to what band you thought they were lol
I feel you. I've heard of them before but never really listened to any of their songs since I just assumed they played mostly black/death metal. Until I decided to give them a shot after a new friend of mine turned out to be a fan. Glad I did.
First I heard a piece of Square Hammer, and i thought it was too "soft" for me. Like a year later, I heard Year Zero and i fell in love with the song, then i realized that the lyrics were pretty satanic, and the interest begun, and i started to listen carefully many songs of them. Now im so obsessed with them, and I love the music, so original and creative, and the lyrics, no one expects how beautiful the lyrics are. I love Ghost.
Ghost are the band that’s brought Rock nRoll escapism back to the charts, love them 🤘🏻

I had the honour to be one of their sisters of sin several years ago. I met one of the band members backstage, he seemed to be really nice and funny.
The way they act on stage is so different (I love it) from their real personality’s and it’s so cool cuz I love how humble they are

Saw ghost in Birmingham in April this year, they were amazing! When they performed 'He Is' I'm not ashamed to say I cried. I would definitely see them again!
