You managed to mount a Roland GK pickup on this? Really cool. I've eyed this Steinberger a while and I play Roland synth and modeling products... Now you've got me intrigued. Looks like the buttons on your controller are facing your body when you go to play it though... yes? Also - you obviously have an adapter for single ended strings there. Probably a necessity?
Hola! Lo pedí por eBay (está como "Combined Headpiece and String Adaptor for Steinberger") y me costó U$S79.99. No sabría decirte si funciona con la Hohner, pero por ahí el vendedor puede responderte esa duda. Saludos!
did not explain the main thing. Have to loosen the main screew at back all the way and block the tremolo with hinge. Then tighten the strings and tune the guitar. After that release the hinge, guitar gets detuned, then tighten main screw until guitar gets back in tune. It is tricky and painfull
Hola! Gracias que subiste esto! muy buena onda. Te hago una consulta, sabes si funciona bien con tremolo? Capaz sea una sonzera mia, pero me da miedo que al estirar mucho se escape la cuerda...
thats not how the new steinberger spirit guitar strings look like :S so I am still wondering WTF is this guitar and where do you buy strings for it. On new models strings have the mounting ring on both ends. That is clearly visible on Thomann website.
Would you recommend getting one of these Spirit guitars? Also, can the string adapter, and the bridge, handle heavier gauges of single-ball strings? Thanks.
No, sadly, they only take double ball strings... I'm pretty sure they come in heavier gauges as well as light, but they don't go with single ball... Well, I may be wrong. I owned one at one point, and your model may either be new or old. It may depend, not sure.
huge thanks for uploading this... was nervous about changing the strings for the first time and this made the whole thing alot easier to figure out
Hola!
Funciona perfecto. El sistema se mantiene súper trabado y nunca tuve problemas con cuerdas que se aflojaron o se soltaron.
Saludos!
Should be noted this guitar has the single-ball adaptor installed.
