Marco: *stares intensely at chef for 20 minutes* why do you look so worried?
MasterChef logic 😂
absolute power move
Marco was doing some other staring in his pants. lol
"Its only an egg" BUDDY YOUR EYES ALONE MASSACRE ME
I SAW the stress on your face! I SMELLED YOUR PAIN!
why is it that US mastechef gets gordon, the aussies get marco - and in britain we get those two random guys who look like burglars?
LOL
The guy that’s been on masterchef UK for a while now is the chef that worked underneath Gordon
MC Canada u have a low rent version of Elton john
and the Indonesian mc you got woman?
I'm pregnant
Imagine dating his daughter
You have to impress Marco with dinner......
''keep it simple''
easy .. just poach him a ( single ) perfect egg - it will leave him stunned . he might stare at ya for one hour but he will be amazed by that ( single ) perfectly poached egg - trust me !
You have to make sure there is no recipe, but of course it's your choice.
This Knorr stockpot jokes are soo 2013.
And you'd have to bring his son cocaine
Joe Bastianich on american Masterchef: This is a disgrace. This is what gets you off this competition. * slams plate on table *
Australian Masterchef judge: oooh ye broke ye egg
That guy is a joke, he doesn't even cook
"a broke mah egg"
Lol that reads a Scottish accent in my head
For all those who are saying, "it's only an egg", consider their situation. They are asked to create a MasterChef worthy dish with an egg. It's really easy to overcomplicate things. Making egg the hero of your dish isn't that easy.
They can't cook an egg between them. It's ok knowing how to tuille or quinelle but you got to know the basics
@@annother3350 That's the problem, isn't it? Everyone wants to be fancy so much that they neglect the foundations. They spend time trying to go higher rather than being stable. When their basics are tested, they're shaken.
And thats why they have to show the basics during audition:)
Also eggs aren’t that easy to cool in general. Most people can’t softboil a egg to save their lives and most of the time when somebody Hardboils a egg it’s usually green yolk from over cooking.
Marco is gordan's teacher.. he doesn't need to yell.. his stare is enough
Marco would be fabulous at playing Hannibal Lecter.
Howwww trueeeee!!!!!
Because he looks EXACTLY like Anthony Hopkins!! Lol
@@1Skyheart Uh, no he doesn't.
I've heard he's partial to fava beans and a nice chianti
Or professor Snape's lost brother in a new Harry potter movie😂
Chef Marco stares as much as Gordon Ramsay yells.
He's one of Gordon's mentor
😂😂😂😂😂
I prefer Gordon yells at me all the day rather than Marco stares me for 3 minutes
It`s his choice... also needs more stockpot
Marco's stare could make the Mona Lisa cry.
Anyone else notice when Marco is at judging the other judges just wait for Marco's to begin first??? THAT is how much respect this Chefcook has in the cooking community.
I'd honestly be more comfortable with Gordon yelling at me than with Marco staring at me
Maybe he was imagining her naked?
Gordon yelling your mistakes, Marco wants you to think what mistakes did you do, lmao
Marco would scare me more than gordon yelling. That quiet dead silence and stare that could kill. Never know what he thinks.
You could be on the verge of physics breaking math formulas and Marco would walk up to you and tell you to keep it simple.
Why do I think this is another one of gordon ramsays channels
tbh physics and math no matter how advanced is simple too
@@user-yv3zk1lk6c Agreed
He says he knows how to poach an egg and miserably fails doing so. What a pity.
My guess is he's used to using a larger pot or one that maintains the temperature better so it would have cooked faster
@@brantleytinnin6258 its not about the pot or the temperature, the water on his pot doesn't even have the momentum to cook a proper poached egg.
@@meowskers666 *thermal capacity
@@shanemckinney171 dont be a nazi. Lol 😂😂😂
live and learn
*"Billy, let's taste your egg"*
ok. what's wrong with that?
@@cozykodie49 it’s a dirty joke 😂
@@sanferat00 oh ooh ok ok lol 😆
@@sanferat00yep😂😂😂
“He kept staring and staring and staring and I thought I was going to feint” hahahahahahaha it’s only an egg hahahahahaha
Chef:present his dish
Marco:*tasting it*
Marco:*stares at him for a minute with saying a word*
Chef:I'm dead
@Kaian凯安 lol he's the youngest chef to get a michellin star
He didn't have enough water in his pot to use that technique, it cooled too quickly.
It works but you gotta have that thermal mass to keep the temp more stable.
Exactly. The water didn't even cover the top of the egg.
Feel no shame in losing an egg challenge. It seems so simple yet making eggs correctly is one of the most challenging things to cook. That is unless you are a kid in my house then you will just eat what you were friggin given lol.
Marco is one of the most kindest but scariest judges ever in the master chef kitchen
When Marco stares at Georgia it reminds me of that old meme. "How do you like your eggs?" ...Fertilized.
lol wtf
It's tragic that we, in American, don't have the opportunity to have shows on television hosted by Marco Pierre White. He is my favorite celebrity chef by leaps and bounds.
“In American” huh? Lmao
@@dantekenway7900 oi meit got a loisence fou that snorky comment?
marco: you made one easy but hard mistake to make when you made these eggs. you didn't............boil them..........with knorr chicken stock pot. would've made a world of difference.
Lmfao
The comment i was lookinng for 🤣🤣🤣
It just goes to show, unless you cook eggs as a profession, it is terribly difficult to cook an egg on command perfectly.
I cook them at home once a week - they're better than this
@@annother3350 they are also under studio lights, pressure of immunity challenge, cooking for 4 well known chefs using unusually high quality ingredients. Doubt you do this all the time like that
@@SantomPh ya brah, i'd probably crack under the pressure...with everyone looking...the yokes on me :(
@@annother3350 yeah u cook with a one day time limit with your fav music playing and u cooking with a glass of red wine
The music when Marco eats makes the situation even more scary
Marco probably gives the most literal definition of "constructive criticism". There are no words spared and he says what he needs to without muddying up whats hes trying to say.
God he his man marco soup and
I love that Marco can be so intimidating with just being calm and silent.
Gordon can be pretty intimidating with his demeanor and temper... but the scariest he ever gets is when he's calm and quiet.
The only masterchef anywhere around the world that has a group of judges that actually look like they're all professionals.
I love every single one of the contestants and judges, especially marco.
MasterChef Canada?
You're joking right? Matt Preston? I absolutely love the guy, but if I didn't know who he was I'd be thinking wtf with some of his outfits. Its like taking MCUS Graham Elliot and putting him on an acid trip.
ah just the sheer presence of sir marco is legendary... what a personality, absolute greatness!
“Why do you look so worried? Its only an egg”
My thoughts exactly!
It's a very interesting egg.
That first girl who served the scrambled non existent egg reminds me of “Thirteen” from House M.D.
Love that show
I thought the US version was over dramatic, but this felt unnecessarily over dramatic for some reason.
Reality TV editing vs actual reality
Yeah - I love the Canadian one. It's so good and the judges are really kind
the musics & editing are just too much.
You should watch masterchef indonesia. Drama every 10 seconds
If you understand spanish, try MC Mexico, It's unbelievable.
Marco's definition of a perfect fried egg isn't one that's universally shared. In east Asian countries a perfect fried egg is crispy around the edges, which requires a hot pan.
Though he notes that she knew her pan was too hot for what she wanted. I wonder if he was judging less for making a crispy egg and more for failing to achieve what she wanted the egg to do.
@@Florkl Marco's stance on fried eggs is that they should have no colour. He's said this in other reality TV shows. Getting people to cook eggs is his first test to see how capable they are.
this show is a test and it should be challenging, so cooking crispy fried egg is much more easier than a perfectly white egg with no colour.
"East Asian"?
Wtf are you talking about?
In Japan, the perfect egg is a 100% raw egg. Please don't talk about food if you have no clue.
Joker: Why so serious? 🙃
Marco: Why so worried? 🙂
coincidence??? 🤔
The dramatic editing and stares do my head in
k, it's probably just me but when australians say the a, it sounds funny to me. "TomAAAto"
Leo Bozley Lol IT’S ONLY IN AMERICA THEY SAY IT DIFFERENTLY.... EVERYBODY ELSE SAYS IT “TomAAAto” !!!!
@@codyrhodes8180 welsh, and i dont say tomAAAto
@@codyrhodes8180 not just america, and why do you have to shout
“I’ve done this before” 😭
Marco : why do you look so worried
I am like mate you staring a wall will make the wall fall down. She is just human
Marco as a judge puts Ramsay, Joe and Graham to shame
lmaoo whyd he just stop to stare for like twenty seconds oof
These MasterChef Moments. almost as good as the Real Program!!
That’s how I stare at a paper waiting for it to be written
Ya know MC Australia is one of my fav editions and I wish they would show full eoisodes here in the US . It be nice
Marco gives such constructive opinions while somewhere else judges insulting the contestants
MC US - this is garbage, disgusting and raw. You are wasting our time and everybody's time on this show. We are here to reach and judge u and u give us this crap. 'opens dustbin and shoves the food with the plates in"
Marco - gotta be brutally honest..it's raw. What u shud have done is poured all your energy into make the steak a perfect medium rare and then focus on the side components later.
"Billie let's taste your egg"
Doesn't sound really good does it? 🤣
Nobody: an egg is an egg, it’s good
Marco: criticizes everything down to the pit
Have you ever been so good that you know how to cook the dish just by seeing it for the first time
I cook. After soft boiling and poaching a good number of eggs, my lesson is: eggs vary from country to country, even vary in the same carton. The difference in size, origin, water, altitude etc will influence the cooking of an egg. For my country, which excellent eggs, even out of a market, I choose the sizes, and the small ones I boil for 5:45 . I get a soft boiled egg with a cooked white, and a runny yolk, how I like them. If I do the same with a bigger egg from the same carton, it will have a runny white. It´s quite an art.
Marco always looks at you as if he's contemplating on which way to eat you.
a psycopathic look? yeah he's actually got some tendencies
The judges are really positive and uplifting
Marco’s calm, expressionless stare proves that all of Ramsay’s shouting one Bastianich’s bin slamming....is just posturing.
You didnt poach the egg. The egg poached itself.
"The pressure of Marco standing there"...damn
5:20 XDDDD in tears right now 😂
Matthew: shows judges broken egg
Chefs at the viewing platform: (Huge applause)
Seriously...they can cook complicated dishes but can't cook an egg properly 🤔🤔🤔
What type of sorcery is this xD
It is hard to nail an egg especially if boiled just like how hard it is to nail potatoes.
Chef Ramsey has said it before that when he entered Marcos kitchen they asked him to cook scrambled eggs and now he does it too. If you can cook a good egg you can be a good chef.
It seems always the most simple dishes are sometimes the hardest. Nowhere to hide with an egg.
I mean, you have to incorporate different flavors and make the egg the star of the dish. You can just put plain eggs
0:45 aww look how cute and happy he is
"I know how to poach an egg". Famous last words I guess
Marco: "keep it simple"
Marco always looks like he's going to eat you.
Dayum he'd be an awesome boss.
I think when he stares it’s a good sign LOL legend
I like it marco’s back
Seriously? They're competing to be "masterchefs" and they can't even fry or boil or poach an egg...
Rahul Bhatia I mean it’s a egg so it’s technically not that hard
@@briw8562 you poach an egg under pressure in front of 3 trained chefs
@@minecr4ft1z not only "trained chefs", but in front of Marco Pierre, Gordon Ramsay's freaking teacher lol
@Rahul Bhatia They're some pretty questionable home chefs if they can't cook an egg. Sorry but poaching and frying an egg are not actually that difficult.
@Rahul Bhatia Any home cook should also be able to do that...
So no one's gonna talk about how the fire is still on at 3:16 ?
hence the super heated egg
I always come out from watching a MasterChef video feeling like I've just obtained more wisdom about life
“I’b be happy sitting at the couch, watching TV and eating that”
well with the first contestant I’d be happy too son.
The faces she made when she was on the business end of that thousand year stare was hilarious. I watched it twice.
Woman: "I kept it very simple. 😬😬😬😬"
2:40 Marco's face..probably must be thinking to himself.. i am the all conquering original 'devil in the kitchen' who has given up 5 michelin stars..what am i doing with these clowns...
Marco: Why do you look so worried
Me: cause you made Gordon Ramsey cry in culinary school
Marco Pierre White is straight outta Harry Potter Series.
PS: I love how they don't break our hearts with results. No elimination, no immunity. Actually the cliffhanger annoys me a lil.
SNAAAAAPE !!!!
First time to see Shannon taste the dishes! 👏👏👏
I BROKE MY EGG
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I skipped forward twice and Marco was still staring at her...
They probably wouldn’t like the way i cook my eggs lmao
Can't take this seriously XD this dramatic music over a fried egg... 😂
His mistake was taking it off the burner, you need that residual heat of the burner, putting it on that counter starts stealing heat very rapidly
The way Marco states wewww....
As a professional cook, the last thing i want to do in the middle of service time is egg. Any kind of egg to be honest.
Lol marco : its just an egg
Fans after hearing that : yea... that aint no beef wellington
This guy doesn't even need to swear like Gordon, his stare alone is enough
I can barely cook a can of pringles, but even I know how to make eggs.
I don't think even Gordon Ramsey can "cook" pringles lmao.
@@trashbrock2320 wooosh

I like watching Masterchef, because it improves my English level. In addition, I'm studying to become an English traslator, and I hope to be requested as a traslator or interpreter more ahead, like those amateur chefs, I always try to study and improve day by day in order to be one of the best in future.
1. First comma shouldn't be there
2. Translator* you forgot the n
3. "More ahead" is odd wording
4. English speakers say, 'the future'
I can poach eggs,
Proceeds to give one a bath to wash all the white stuff off.
“I broke my egg”
So nobody managed to cook their eggs correctly, good job 👍
a collapsed egg can make someone go into depression
Gordan is like a boss of mafia , but marco is the godfather .
Marco has that "hannibal lector" vibe.
I was watching this season's finale today only...😍😁🤘loved it..

So this is what he meant when he says 'Mother nature is the true artist.. an to keep it simple'..
I can’t help thinking that if Marco had spent a couple of years in the army, he wouldn’t be so emotional about an egg.
Why are you worried? Welp if you wouldnt stare at me after eating it i might be fine
