Stir Fry Kangkong Recipe | KangKung with Fermented Beancurd

  • A subscriber has asked for a kangkong recipe, so here it is. Today, we are stir frying Kangkong with Fermented Beancurd. KangKong goes by several names - Morning Glory, River Spinach, Water Spinach, Chinese Spinach or in Chinese, 空心菜.
    There are as many names as there are ways to cook it. Today, I will show you one of my flavor ways to stirfry this veg and it only require a few ingredients.
    Ingredients:
    300g Kangkong
    3 cubes fermented beancurd
    1 Tbsp oyster sauce
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    100 ml water
    2 Tbsp oil for stirfrying

    hey there, what is the difference between nam yu and fu yu fermented tofu?

      Nam Yu is made with red yeast rice and therefore reddish it color. It has a stronger flavor and is good for masking the gaminess of meats. While fu yu is less so. Hope this helps. 😀

    u need to break first the fermented tofu and add sugar and a little bit of water before ....just sayi'n
