FOR SALE.
Yup, I will consider selling this van if someone is interested. Contact me and we can chat.
brad@berad-products.com
Didn’t you spend tons of time to make it?? Why sell it? It’s amazing
PLEASE DONT SELL IT, THAT THING IS AWESOME, YOU NEED TO KEEP IT!
What's a price range?
Already?? Lol wtf
I've seen 100s of van build layouts but yours is by far the best. The attention to detail and level of thinking in the design is outstanding. Fantastic!
This van build also shows the kind of person you are: 1. Unconventional, 2. Attention to detail, 3. Focussed on the outcome no matter how hard it is to get there. Also why you excel on a dirtbike because being better on a dirtbike takes practice, practice and practice...
So awesome. I love the thoughtful creature-comforts while maintaining overall simplicity. And so happy to find someone else that doesn't need a fancy bathroom lol
Bathroom is such a waste of space in such a small vehicle. And the maintence of it…the bucket works fine when you need it, otherwise there’s always a staging area with an outhouse, a friends house, a gas station….and my little shovel haha
EVERYTHING is Top Notch .....super sleek, super smart design,... for Every Aspect n Compartment. For Sure One of the best i have ever seen (for a Moto Van type build) by far! GREAT JOB
Very thoughtful build!!! Thanks for posting this video!
Excellent build man, very well thought out, making me rethink my bus build!
Awesome as always. I follow you for years and I am always inspired by your work Some of your ideas will flow into my camper trailer build :D
Great job on this build. Very functional. Congratulations.
Thing is sick man. Moto van goals for sure.
Beautiful build!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it.
Thank you!
That's a dream build. Good job man!
Absolutely awesome man!
Thats cool, you might want to add more first aid stuff and have it in a visible place so anyone who enters knows where it is. Stay safe!
very nice, and well thought out.
Congratulations on such a well engineered and frankly well thought out Moto Van. I almost feel like I am minimizing what you have built when I say that as I am that Van would be great to travel in beyond Moto Events and trips!
Such an epic build.
Thanks bud!!!
Nice job love it
You should be proud!! Awesome build! Love it…..
Great video of an amazing van. No hot water 😱 💯 on the table and even more so for the engineering excellence on the bed. The gas can carrier is such a good touch and that sink though🤩 Well done 👊
Haha yeah I’ll add hot tap in at some point. Now that it’s summer though, I’ll probably wait for fall.
@@BeRAD with 70 percent battery remaining overnight (assuming it drops to 45-50 in the winter you may still have power left for an inline water heater.
very cool van for a very good rider
Sick van man so jealous
Nice build on good AWD van and big box make sense. You have name or link for the shower I’m interested in getting one for my cutaway van . Thanks for sharing
I cannot praise you enough for the attention to detail and effort that went into every minute item in your van. Hats off to you. Your side gig should be designing solutions for Winebago or Fleetwood etc... Or even for the Tiny home company that Elon is promoting...
highly recommend getting a lcd rear view mirror that hooks up to a rear cam, you can constantly see whats going on behind you
Love it
Radical Bradical living the van life dream
I LOVE THIS build!! I came away with ideas for my rig that I will put into practice. One word of caution though; the fuel cans on the back are a hazard. I know they are in a box but, it is no match for an F250 at 35 mph. Don’t ask me how I know.😮
Dope dude!
Appreciate it!
This shows what determination can get you
lots of sweat and definitely some tears too if im being honest haha. Minimal blood...
@@BeRAD haha
Hey for you’re curtains on the showers what if u out a few magnets on the bottom to make sure it stays inside of the trey
Dream build for sure. Few things I figured I'd chime in about:
-Might be worth adding caulking to connect the kitchen butcher block and walls?
-A bit of food grade antifreeze may be cheap insurance for the winterization process.
-Adding weights to the bottom of your shower curtain may allow you to store it above and have it drop down (storyteller style), and rolled up/clipped when not in use on the hooks.
It’s caulked! It’s clear and does not show on video. I really won’t ever need to winterize it because if it’s cold, I keep it heated. I don’t plan to not be living in it in the winter…
@@BeRAD Right on :)
Agree
Wow so that is what happened to Buttery’s wood ramp! You got it
Congratulations on this build. I'm not trying to pee pee on your rainbow here, but I'm curious to know what the exact weight distribution is. Have you thought of putting it on some portable scales so you know exactly how much weight each wheel is carrying? I think that would be very good information to have. You could learn a whole lot or nothing at all, who knows. Happy adventuring.
I use the luggable loo in my camper setup too. lol
Very cool build!
Nice build! Now get that van a @WeldtecDesigns lift to get that thing some more ground clearance.
I’m gonna do airbags eventually. Don’t want higher load height and less fuel efficiency. I’ve taken it through uneven enough terrain for what big need without issue.
I bought an electric water pot for coffee and noodle cups etc, it's changed my life. It's so fast and efficient, I suggest getting rid of the teapot
I definitely don’t like how large mine is but considering in only boil a tiny amount at a time for oatmeal, it takes about 40 seconds. I think I’ll just get a smaller one.
+1 on the electric water pot those things boil instantly and it would be a lot simpler for your setup if you just want some quick warm/hot water instead of pulling out and setting up your stove you just plug the pot in.
One thing I may want to add to your build is a way I could hookup to external water and power supply whenever available so I could toggle between the two if I happen to have access to water and power.
I have external power hookup…just didn’t show it. And yeah water would be easy to add but I have no use for it since I try to park off grid. Or just refill with the hose as needed 🤷🏻♂️
@@BeRAD that's completely cool too
Paint the rims black 😆 sick build tho. what a setup
Do you have plans for the bed design? It’s genius!!!
second that. I would like to see the hinge and strut set up.. awesome idea..
Do you have a link for the cargo nets?
FANTASTIC JOB.. i could imagine how much that build would have cost, if you had a pro van shop do it...
Most “pro” van shops I’d say don’t build them like this either 😜. I’ve only seen a handful of vans built by shops that strike me as any but practical. Nice looking, but horribly uncomfortable and impractical. Maybe I’m onto something….😎
@@BeRAD Completely agree... Most commercial builders focus on aesthetics because looks sell... Only when you live in one do you really wish you had a better build by a guy who actually lives in one full time and rides toys... You should absolutely have a business going... Here is the only problem I see... Most guys who have $$$ for a 150K van are older/retired. Those folks tend not to care for a sleeper van. They are happy to have a 30-40 ft toy hauler. Gypsy souls like me want one like this but most find the cost to be a huge barrier to get in...
Where did you come up with the idea for the bed?
Love the build . Where did you get the Bed? I want one.
I built it! Watch the build series! Well, the mattress I had custom made by a foam shop.
Such a sweet build. What do you do for laundry? Laundromat?
Usually friends houses but yeah sometimes laundromat
What about the hand soap brad?
sick! how long does the curtain take to dry in the shower? do you think the fan above it is necessary?
All fronds on weather. I’ve since changed it so it stays hanging so I can pretty much load the shower back with stuff right after I’m done. Fan not at all needed without warm water. With warm water I think it would be a good idea long term.
Beware I’ve found that braided vinyl tubing to not be rated safe for drinking! I had to switch to clear vinyl for my van. The pressure rating is right on the edge but so far so good.
Cool build. Why did the garage floor bubble up a bit?
Expansion in the heat.
Straps are the way to go. Tip top build. Love it.
Curious what kind of MPG do you get ?
Do you like the Yamaha?
Would you please share the interior dimensions including total cargo volume. I'd like to compare this to the interior dimensions of a 170 extended Sprinter.
Any plans for adding windows? AC?
MPG?
17x7x7 before walls/insulation/floor/ceiling added.
No plans for windows. That kills the stealth characteristic. I have one idea though that might mask it….12mpg
Out of both builds which one gets better gas mileage?
Can you comment on the cost you have into this? Maybe do a video of what it would take to replicate? This is an awesome build. I am open to the idea of divorcing my wife and living in a van down by the river if I can have this setup.
how does it drive? would you ever want a bigger truck?
It’s great in a straight line! Handles mountain curves well too but could definitely use some airbags in the rear and stiffer sway bar. But it’s perfectly fine.
Where do you order your parts ro
Check the Amazon links in the description
Do you like the YZ?450fx
Graysen!! What’s up Dude! Yeah watch my review video on it. It’s awesome
Thanks, Brad
how much was the transit and unicell shell?
edit: like just the vehicle before you started the conversion
Around 60k.
@@BeRAD new? who did you buy through?
@@jimmy4518 yes, new. Custom ordered. Chris Peters at Brondes Ford Toledo Ohio
U never had any issues with hauling gas in the back?
What do you mean? The gas can box? What issues would arise from that?
@BeRAD. I got my own van and trying to use this idea. But I wanna know if it’s legal and if u had any problems with it. I’m worried about a rear end impact.
could you take the van to a scale? Im curious how heavy this beast is.
With 3 bikes, pushing 11k
What is the GVWR?
@@Brian-vh7gb the chassis is rated for 11k
Not rippin on you but he said buncha food storage whole pantry consists of a bag of doritos and a couple pop tarts😅
There is a buncha space* for food storage. I also noted that I was not fully stocked on anything since I was parked at my parents farm at the time of filming and was eating with them mostly.
My boots likely need to be replaced...but my first thought was why would I want a heater blower distributing my boot smell throughout my vehicle? Your boots must not smell yet.
lol they smell. They're over a year old. No way to avoid it in a small space. But its not that bad. Thankfully I don't have too stinky of feet and it's not too often I need to dry them anyway.
Video 1, you said you’d be living in it, now you say you won’t be living it and now it’s for sale…what’s up?
Nowhere did I say I wouldn’t be living in it. I’ve been living in it full time since December. Everything is always for sale!
