Mercedes Sprinter Motorhome Conversion - 10 Minute Timelapse (DIY)

Here is a video of my Mercedes Sprinter van which we converted into a motorhome for motocross.
We obviously made some small mistakes here and there, but for a first time conversion, I think it went alright. I hope this mabye inspired you to do your own build.
- Sorry I lost footage of the last part where we installed the kitchen and overhead cabinets, but anyway here it is.

If it is regarding the length it is a Long model sprinter van. This model comes in 4 lengths. Short, Medium, Long and Extra long. So this is the Long model, which has the long wheelbase, but not the extended version. Height is also the high model, but not the extra high with the funny "top" on it. (It has to be a long and high model as minimum to do what I did here, everything is measured down to the last mm).

Plywood with a brown blank surface. Wrapped in high gloss kitchen foil afterwards 😊

What is that white panel material you used to finish of the motorcycle space?

Thanks it’s a sort of plywood with a brown blank surface. And then all the screws where spartled and sanded down. To finish off it was wrapped in high gloss kitchen foil😊

Hi, sorry for late response. Bed frame is made out of aluminium T-proflies that is bolted into the chassis with submerged bolts. After that all the ends are welded together. The bottom of the bed is made with 22mm plywood, bolted onto the aluminium frame :-)

Around 18.000 USD for the interior part.
Did a lot of work with the exterior aswell, fresh paint, wrapping etc which is not included in the above price :)
