just one small correction, instead of videos from the other channels showing up in 2019, they started being uploaded around mid-2020. not sure if that's a slip of the tongue or not, but just wanted to add it here since you said we could.
Why would Manfred try to contact his son in English? It doesn't make sense to me. Oh and the Th in Theas name is jut pronounced like a T, the H is more a tiny huffing out of air in german.

A quick correction to a detail shown in this video, "Mirror Monster" was the nickname given to Crawler in the scenes where he's emerging from the mirror as he was originally incorrectly thought to be a separate creature. References to it have been fixed to reflect current knowledge.
The fact that it's Crawler emerging and Brother Crow appears afterwards is more evidence that Crawler and Brother Crow represent the same person.
the Rom is actually playable as it's a unity project folder and I was able to open it and play it (*edit* the game is now playable without needing unity, I think.)

True because they were talking about nils (I think that’s the son’s name) birthday and he wishes to be there but doesn’t know it’s him so he wants to talk before his unseen death
The building was empty, and all the computer software was gone, and even in the game we see him jump off the boat with a computer.

You know after watching "The Right Opinion" for a while, these "longer" videos feel like they're seconds.
Man you NEED to do this with Archive 1983. There's more seance videos, tapes and an official Instagram account. There should be Google docs but I can't seem to find them. Seriously, it's crazy.

There has been a lot of searching for the wrong thing. Finding Nils and getting them to reconnect should have been a lot higher priority than finding Manfred.
I wouldve thought that Manfred supposedly instructing to come meet him at a certain spot on a certain day would be a big hint to explore the game on a specific day where perhaps something different happens?

Probably the most illogical thing about the entire arg is that it's completely in english despite it taking place in germany. I still love it
It's actually not that unlogical. Gamedevelopment has always been rather global and therefore in english. Meanwhile the letter he wrote to his wife is actually in german
The details that caught my attention were the "Licensed by Nintendo" on the title screen (it's not yet released so why has it passed the licensing steps already?)
And some of the graphical effects just look questionable for the era, things the N64 wasn't capable of.
That was before the Unity workspaces leaked.

I have been watching your channel a lot as of late and your content it's awesome! I love this kind of documentary types of videos
I watched the video "I was messaged about a game that doesn't exist" by inside a mind as well as Crow 64 about a month ago and then carried on without looking into it past that. It wasn't until I was suggested a video just now about the brute force cracking of the build in the unity engine and read some comments mentioning ARG that I realized none of it was real (I mean it's real but you know what I mean). After seeing the title of the initial video I watched, it makes sense but I can't believe I didn't figure it out this whole time. Internet is a weird place

@@crispybacon1029 Nah the community will flood with so many of his fans parroting his theories. It's kinda cool that it's a small and semi-obscure AR, because it's really not that big of a mystery as MatPat would most likely make it to be. I don't really want it to have more "awareness." People should find it themselves.

I kinda wish this game was a thing back then (minus the tragic, unsettling and weird content), it would be a cool platformer I would probably play, but it's an ARG, not a real game from the 90's, if it was just a 3D platformer without the messages and creepy glitches, it probably would've been fun.

How long did reading the document take? I’m more used and comfortable to watching videos of ARG’s than actually like reading the document that people make but I might read it a bit.
