Damn man. In the age of heavy bands eventually adding clean choruses, I never would’ve guessed 156 would be one of them. Cool song, but damn. Who would’ve thought no clean vocals in metalcore would become the unique thing?
I fully support these guys being from Pittsburgh and all. I loved their stuff, then came these emo cleans. Wish them the best just not my thing. They were brutal and then this. The rest of the song without those whiny cleans is amazing. Still wish them the best. They have amazing talent. I’ll stick with Johnny Booth for now.
I’ve never listened to more than a few Johnny booth songs, but i remember them having “whiny” cleans. I’m pretty sure one song I heard had a three part harmony lol. You’ll appreciate cleans more one day.
