When "This is love" came out I was 18. Me and a buddy of mine stood outside of a best buy to buy that album the first day of release. I am now 40! This is amazing that they are still out there doing this. I still have my This is love DVD I bought from a Suncoast. Next time you guys come through San Antonio you have my money
Fan since 2011. Amazing how this band not only keeps their signature style but gets better. Also Brendan looks menacing. Doing what he loves. Making heavy music and lifting heavy weights

Bleeding through, one of the only metalcore bands to not get worse with time. They stayed heavy and still produce dope tunes. Staying true to their awesome sound.

I remember seeing the music video for On Wings of Lead and then heard Love Lost in a Hail of Gun Fire when I bought the Headbanger's Ball Vol. 2 CD in 2004 and I was an instant fan. Then I bought The Truth the same day that it came out and I was so blown away by that album. To this day I still regard The Truth to be one of the best metalcore albums of all time, easily in my top 5, if not my top 3! I love it so much that I've literally owned 3 copies of it over the years. My first copy got broken with my Walkman while I was skateboarding, my 2nd copy is the one that I still listen to and I still have a sealed copy that I grabbed at a record store just in case. Plus it was buy 1 get one 1/2 off day, so I figured why not, you can never have too many copies of The Truth. 🤣🤘
Awesome. My favorite parts were the high harmony from Marta and her solo vocal part towards the end. I could honestly picture her as a lead vocalist of a band singing like that. And it would be stellar.
Massive respect to Ryan and Derek as a rhythm section and musicians, they’re on another level. Derek was doing shit in 01-03 time you’d never heard before!
18 years since I first fell in love with them and STILL blowing me away! Cannot wait to see them at Damnation this year! Hopefully get a chance to meet Brandan and the rest of the band again 🖤

I mean, he started out playing drums for The Witch Was Right (fronted by Trevor from Eighteen Visions, whom MIW got their name from), and originated from the same music scene that MIW has taken *heavy* influence from (Orange County), so it makes a bit of sense that he ended up in BT. But switching from drums to lead guitar, and doing it justice, was a surprise. Very talented guy

I found these guys like I did with a lot of the metal I listened to in the early 2k’s, by listening to the random cds Hot Topic would put on display when they actually sold CDs. The first band I discovered that way, the mostly unknown at the time Slipknot. The first bleeding through song I remember was the one with the Boondock Saints sample. This place was Armageddon, then there was a fire fight… still one of the hardest intros and drops.
