I looked that song up shortly after this came out in 2017, and got super into that album and the rest of Toshiki Kadomatsu's music, which took me down a massive fucking rabbit hole that led me to where I am today. I’m gonna get a little more serious than I should here, this video was uploaded a couple days before my dog died after owning him for 12 and a half years. We had moved to such a shitty place too meaning I had to say goodbye to friends I’ve known for years. For good. So there was a lot of pressure to start a whole new life essentially while my lifelong brother (my dog) was going to be put down soon too. Not a good combination. But something about this video, in a weird way helped me cope with the death of Casper, where I’ll keep him alive by remembering all of the good times I had with him from childhood through my teenage years. Hey dudes. Those last 14 seconds, where the edited version of 52nd Street plays, have probably had the biggest impact on my music taste more than anything else ever. I looked that song up shortly after this came out in 2017, and got super into that album and the rest of Toshiki Kadomatsu's music, which took me down a massive fucking rabbit hole that led me to where I am today. I went to Japan around that time, and that coupled with my obsessive fixation on listening to the shit out of new music I find, made it a very memorable and iconic experience. I’m gonna get a little more serious than I should here, this video was uploaded a couple days before my dog died after owning him for 12 and a half years. We had moved to such a shitty place too meaning I had to say goodbye to friends I’ve known for years. For good. So there was a lot of pressure to start a whole new life essentially while my lifelong brother (my dog) was going to be put down soon too. Not a good combination. But something about this video, in a weird way helped me cope with the death of Casper, where I’ll keep him alive by remembering all of the good times I had with him from childhood through my teenage years. Thank you SuperMega. You helped me keep him alive in my heart with your comedic silliness. Bless
