@GlassEater420 i dont think a sponsorship automatically makes a video bad, it just depends on how it is delivered and when. I think it's disrespectful to stop in the middle of a case and talk about a sponsor, but doing it at the very beginning or very end seems okay to me. making these videos still takes work and these people still need money lol (at least the respectful ones) i heard about a podcast, cant remember the name, where one of the hosts made a joke about how the victim of the case they were talking about could've survived if they had the product in the ad. THAT is a new level of disrespect. it's all about the balance.
@GlassEater420 not doing so won't revive anyone and I should have vids to eat with. Condemning true-crime channels like this is a slippery slope to becoming a mom concerned over satanic tabletops
@GlassEater420 understandable why you would't like it but it's all blatantly public footage, these people just do the work of explaining and compiling. It's really no different than a true crime show on the ID channel.
oh my god, this is a masterpiece. the cop making himself some toast on bodycam, the drawing of lois' corpse with the off page "holy crap", the "oop i got your nose" bit. as a true crime fan i feel simultaneously attacked and impressed.
You know you guys nailed it when my wife listening from the kitchen with no context yells out "he made toast!?!?!" to the comment of the police officer stopping to make toast.
The toast should have been the immediate identifier. I started to question it after seeing the family’s names (loosely named after ducktales) and knew it was a parody at the mocking technique
I was suspicious when he said "what the duece" on the 911 call, but I've seen and heard plenty of weird things from suspects in true crime videos... The toast was when I knew for sure lol
Blind guy here. This really fucked me up since I’m subscribed to every true crime channel on UA-cam. Can’t follow visual cues but when the cop started copying Stewart reality hit me like a brick! 😂
@@MONKeEeYboi Thats ok. I saw it in YT shorts and before finding this full video, i was googling the Na-na Na-na Boo-boo technique for couple of minutes :D.
i remember this case. fox canceled their Family Guy showrun for a whole evening out of respect. it was just a 2 hour-long still screen of the empty purple couch, overlaid with the words “in remembrance of the Pecan family. Fly high.” i was pretty pissed at the time because i was a dumb 12-year-old who didn’t get to watch their favorite show that night, but looking back, it was a really thoughtful tribute
This genuinely sounds like something that would be on Comedy Central. The way you wrote such subtle but effective jokes in between how they do real investigations is absolutely hilarious and well done.
oh my god I'm dense, I actually thought this was a real murderer interrogation until one of the detectives was mocking the suspect in the interrogation room and then it was such a bombshell when I realized this was a super mega video. Edit: Ok to clarify to everyone, the first time I was watching I was quite shocked to see the officer ignoring their duties in order to make toast but I figured that the officer hadn't eaten and was brought out on a call before they could eat, that and I figured they weren't a very good officer.
I can’t believe they didn’t laugh when Stewart did his impression of Peter, when he hits his knee, and he’s all like “sgggg ahhhhh sgggg ahhhhh sggg ahhh sggg ahhhh”
Detective Stuckman is a class act. He once convinced me I had murdered my fiance and I was jailed for seven years before he had double jinxed the real killer into confessing during a separate case. Truly one of a kind
i knew the second they said "george clanton" that it was fake because george is really good friends with supermega (and a somewhat popular chillwave artist)
I started watching this and genuinely thought it was an actual true crime video for the first couple minutes... Thinking to myself "This guy really loves family guy" "That guy looks an awful lot like Matt from SuperMega..." "Why would the officer make himself some toast??"
That’s funny, after I heard “Stewart” say he has a “Quagmire” on his hands AND I saw the officer make himself some burnt toast, that’s when I wandered off into the common section 😅
Dude this is the highest quality skit ive seen yall do, the dedication to detail and making an accurate parody of JCS is fucking spot on. The sets, the costumes, the props. Its all done extremely well. Thank you for this content funny brothers
The interrogation would've been over a lot faster if the detectives hit him with "This is just like the time you gave a full confession". A true Family Guy fan can't resist a cutaway gag.
The flaw with this method is that after a cutaway gag, the scene transitions to an entirely different place. If they used that method, he'd have teleported out of the interrogation room
@@akisa7865 Ah but you're forgetting about the fact that Stewart would have been required to reenact the murders, certifying his guilt in the eyes of the law.
After the second rewatch it’s even funnier that Stewart’s family were all named ending in the “e” sound but thought it’d be outrageous for Stewart to change his name to Stewie
Well according to the family guy cannon (blessed be upon it) "stewie" is a nickname and his real name is Stewart Griffin. so it makes sense that he doesn't change it.

This is fair but then again look at Afromans recordings of the police haha xD
Got me at "officer took a short nap before returning to the suspect"
I noticed that was weird but I was like "okay maybe the detective is just extremely irresponsible and the toast was already there," it was when they said there was a "quantum criminology specialist" that I was like alright no way
This honestly needs more views. It really REALLY nails the satire of all of these lazily done JCS-style knockoffs that use pop psychology and tragic events to generate likes and sensationalism

@@rainy5517 The following footage has been analyzed by a licensed psychologist
@GlassEater420 i dont think a sponsorship automatically makes a video bad, it just depends on how it is delivered and when. I think it's disrespectful to stop in the middle of a case and talk about a sponsor, but doing it at the very beginning or very end seems okay to me. making these videos still takes work and these people still need money lol (at least the respectful ones)
i heard about a podcast, cant remember the name, where one of the hosts made a joke about how the victim of the case they were talking about could've survived if they had the product in the ad.
It's really no different than a true crime show on the ID channel.

they're really like that though
Had to make sure they reached Opposite Day, I guess.

This just happened with my wife as I read this.
The toast should have been the immediate identifier. I started to question it after seeing the family’s names (loosely named after ducktales) and knew it was a parody at the mocking technique
didn’t realize it was fake until “the cop” made himself a toast lmaooo 😭😭💀😂
for some unbelievable reason i was like “odd…but i guess they’ll cover this further into the video..”
Help i didn’t realize this was fake until i read this comment and i was on the part where he was copying him 😭

I was suspicious when he said "what the duece" on the 911 call, but I've seen and heard plenty of weird things from suspects in true crime videos... The toast was when I knew for sure lol
I realized this was fake when I saw SuperMega uploaded it
“I got a bit of a quagmire on my hands” -Stewart Pecan
Blind guy here. This really fucked me up since I’m subscribed to every true crime channel on UA-cam. Can’t follow visual cues but when the cop started copying Stewart reality hit me like a brick! 😂

The cop making toast and his picture was too much for me lol
i remember this case. fox canceled their Family Guy showrun for a whole evening out of respect. it was just a 2 hour-long still screen of the empty purple couch, overlaid with the words “in remembrance of the Pecan family. Fly high.”
i was pretty pissed at the time because i was a dumb 12-year-old who didn’t get to watch their favorite show that night, but looking back, it was a really thoughtful tribute

the fact that the interrogation kept getting put on hold for like 2 hour intervals is fucking hilarious
This genuinely sounds like something that would be on Comedy Central. The way you wrote such subtle but effective jokes in between how they do real investigations is absolutely hilarious and well done.
OMFG I JUST REALIZED THIS IS A PARODY (I'm literally at 16:36, I just realized it because I wanted to see the comments).
the mimic gimmick going on for 48 minutes is so funny to me
The funniest part for me is that no one in the room cares about how getting 2 cups of water took 48 minutes.
@@Mr_Walletit’s that way in the real videos lol they’ll leave them alone for long spans
oh my god I'm dense, I actually thought this was a real murderer interrogation until one of the detectives was mocking the suspect in the interrogation room and then it was such a bombshell when I realized this was a super mega video. Edit: Ok to clarify to everyone, the first time I was watching I was quite shocked to see the officer ignoring their duties in order to make toast but I figured that the officer hadn't eaten and was brought out on a call before they could eat, that and I figured they weren't a very good officer.

Can confirm, first time watching Matt and I was convinced until the officer made himself a toast
I am aware of Matt and still didn’t recognise him 😂
He looked like Jared Leto from Requiem for a Dream to me. 😂😂
that's how I found it. thought I was watching a JCS style vid. Of course the toast and the family photo gave it away. lol
I saw so many clips of this video believing it was real bc this is spot on jcs inspired editing
Seeing the "Neener Neener" tactic pioneered by my grandfather Joseph Neener used flawlessly gave me immense pleasure.
Personally, I respect that Detective Christopher Stuckmann took time out of his busy schedule of reviewing movies to take care of business.

This took me wayyyy too much time to realize this whole video is a joke
Detective Stuckman is a class act. He once convinced me I had murdered my fiance and I was jailed for seven years before he had double jinxed the real killer into confessing during a separate case. Truly one of a kind

Underrated.
@@akisa7865 Ah but you're forgetting about the fact that Stewart would have been required to reenact the murders, certifying his guilt in the eyes of the law.
After the second rewatch it’s even funnier that Stewart’s family were all named ending in the “e” sound but thought it’d be outrageous for Stewart to change his name to Stewie
this is hilarious and i never even noticed it
Well according to the family guy cannon (blessed be upon it) "stewie" is a nickname and his real name is Stewart Griffin.
so it makes sense that he doesn't change it.
