Hey I want to say thank you so much for reaffirming to not be intimidated. Needing to learn for my job! Clear instructions, great work and videos you have been proving. Wish you the best in your business 👍
High school I work at is getting a imop, it’s basically a hand held floor scrubber. Has brushes instead of a pad, check them out they are interesting. not cheap of course.
Thank you Jeff for the tutorial. We’re having our asbestos hallways, two classrooms, main office, and faculty room being tore up at the moment. They’re being replaced with Lvt flooring. I just hope they’re scratch resistant.
In daily cleaning you get much better results if you use a flat microfibre mop system and a doubble bucket. One Side you rinse the dirt out of the microfibere mop or pad and the other side you pick up clean solution. So the water stays clean for a longer time and a flat mop system picks up more dirt, then the classic wet mop.
I totally agree. In a situation like this with this floor. Where it’s a church there is no certain person over seeing the floor care. So it does not get cleaned properly. Makes me cringe. To see the build up.
That floor looks better now. I work at a elementary school and I used to do a chemical scrub on cvt flooring. The smell of it gave me a headache. But after cleaning it and all. It looked good.
Are lvt floors the same as altro? I've always used a machine with a brush for altro flooring. . Where I work we've always been told not to use pads as they damage the floor. I've seen altro flooring that has been buffed and it looks horrible, all the dirt gets ingrained into it.
The saint of all flooring is linoleum!, but if some senior citizens walk into the locker room wearing winter studs the whole floor needs to be replaced. lmao
I'd like to please see your technique on summer deep cleaning the wood gym floors and waxing tile classroom floors. (The old school way.) If you could, Mr. Jeff.🙏

The product we used didn’t have a smell.
Hey, Jeff, I love the videos. I'm curious to know what pads you'll recommend using on LVT Floors specifically?
I have a link in description
