Sunset Riders is a bonafide classic hands down. Play the SNES version a lot back in the day and man the soundtrack was ace, colors pop like candy and plus it was fair and challenging. I always pick Cormano because he reminds of Clint's character from the Good the Bad and the Ugly. Thanks for the awesome throwback Al!
Konami has released so many great games - and these are my favourite classic games: - MIKIE (which i still have on my Commodore 64) - HYPER SPORTS - YIE-AR KUNG FU - TRACK & FIELD - GREEN BERET - COMBAT SCHOOL SUNSETRIDERS is one of those great games 🐱👍🕹️🕹️🕹️🕹️.
An arcade classic with surprisingly sane difficulty. Very few gotcha moments. I'd wager a seasoned gamer could beat the game first time on about $2. It's funny how other than Chief Scalpem, all the bosses are sort of pushovers, then you get to Richard Rose and he just goes NUTS.
15:50 Sunset riders shoot hundreds of people who were just following orders. Then shoots “Chief Scalpem” a hundred times. “Please don’t shoot my brother! He was only following orders!” “All right, we won’t shoot ‘em.” By the way, isn’t anyone going to mention how all the Sunset Riders all look like Tom Petty? Even Cormando looks like Tom Petty if he were Hispanic!
Another one that has emptied my pockets!!👛... 😬... I think it's in the playstore classics,... we're going to have a few hours of arcade nostalgia!!... good video! 👍🏽
Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa was kind of a spiritual successor to this game. That being even if it had noting to do with Sunset Riders besides the same gameplay, and what not though.
Sometimes they just don't need a sequel to spoil things, as we've seen in the case of other titles. This game probably stayed a classic for that reason.
A magnificent Konami game with very good soundtracks. Also you finish the game with one of the two characters that have the type of shot that is more difficult to handle, but that I like more, than the burst shot of the other 2 characters. The two levels of bonus you make them perfect. You get to the Indian chief without losing any life, so you have to do it by dodging 4 knives instead of 3. Impeccable, I love this game and I dominate it a lot but this gameplay is second to none. Congratulations.
The first time I whittled richard rose down to no health just for him to pop off that bulletproof armor. That had preteen me throwing the controller after I lost.
In the Smith Bros. fight it is possible to rescue all three girls. While you are at the incibility state after you save one you can jump to the other side and save the other one.
Ah, the good ol' days!... When in your game intro you could slaughter people shooting them while you smile and smoke a cigar, and then, recover hp by fornicating with prostitutes.
Paco loco is, indeed, a crazy one: his dialogues don't have any sense. First: ¡Ay, Chihuahua! it's like saying, for example 'Oh, California' cuz Chihuahua is a mexican state. And the second statement 'Hasta la bye bye' can be translated as 'See you, or until bye bye'.
This game is legendary
Yes it is! I'm surprised I don't hear much of this game when snes comes up in convo. This game is so much fun to play.
6:08 Turtles poster in upper left corner! :D
…That is sadly gone in the Nintendo Switch version
It makes sense, since the turtles passed through the wild west in the Turtles in Time game.
@@Matthew_Paul True, but also that both are a Konami game!

7:26 My favorite music of Sunset riders. I still remember its melody to this day

Please don't shoot by brother.
Alright ma'am, after shooting him 200 times!
I needed this laugh bro🫡
You can always tell an arcade game when you have to shoot the boss 1000 times to kill them.
Then destiny is an arcade game lol
Or it could be because you are blind 😂😂
If you gotta get to that point to figure out it's an arcade you might be a bit dim
It's the big bold instructions that deliver the arcade vibes. Always a particular font too.

Looked so good in the original cabinet and sounded great too

Another konami classic they should try and revive.
One of the greats. Deserving of more attention in my opinion
"Don't shoot my brother!"
"Alright ma'am, we won't shoot him."
The brother in question: *is already Swiss cheese by four pistols and two rifles*
This was like a walk down memory lane. As a kid with my Quarters at the arcade. LOL

Man I loved playing this game every Sunday at the pizza place we would eat lunch at
Back in the 90’s right?
10/10 game with a fucking PHENOMENAL soundtrack.

Oh god!!! I was waiting for you playing this awesome Game!!! Thank you so much!!! I LOVE you!!!
Wow just started looking into this game... It's perfect
The game that reminds me of my childhood. Hehe I miss being a child.
I never undestood why games like this have no sequels.
Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa was kind of a spiritual successor to this game. That being even if it had noting to do with Sunset Riders besides the same gameplay, and what not though.
There's Mythic Warriors but that game is a bit of a downer
Sometimes they just don't need a sequel to spoil things, as we've seen in the case of other titles.
This game probably stayed a classic for that reason.
Same reason last of us never should’ve had one
Because Komani don't like money. That, and they can't make a damn pachinko machine from it..
I cleared this game at 9 yo, i first took down minions, till they couldn't respawn.
Shots hundreds of enemies and avoids traps and bombs; gets bashful when kissed
Looks like a pretty chill one. Great gameplay by the way
Remembered playing this at my local Fiesta Market. Good times

I remember asking my brother what was the game that the antagonist say's " It's time to pay. " Hehe. Luckily, my brother remember's it. 😂
6:00 Tmnt Cameo that went unnoticed
why?

So many memories. Must have spent a fortune as an year old old; about $6
Beautiful game
WHIN I SAW THIS GAME I MISS MY CHILDWOOD DAYS, THIS GAME IS A EMOTION OF 90S KIDS
big fan of this game's opening theme music
I Never managed to beat this game back in the day so I tried it with emulation and barely made it with save game states.....I really stuck.
The game that deserves a live action
I picture about this!
There are so many amazing Spaghetti Western movies worth your time (besides the Leone stuff) - Try Day Of Anger (1967) for a start, it's brilliant.
Great game
You ought to have picked my man Cornando
Stage 3 was difficult with all those hand granades every 2seconds lol
Why do they have you commit genocide in Chief Scalpem's stage?
beautiful game 👍
the best game arcade ever
"Hasta la bye bye" jajaja😂
Jogo nostálgico! Bela gameplay!
23:27: Stage X
¡¡¡CORMANO!!! Viva la raza!!!!
"chief scalp'em" lol oh I love the 90's
I was looking for this game but couldn't remember the name of it
Needs rollback
Seriously though, this was a gem to play when I was younger. Would still play it now if I could find it anywhere :)
Rindu masa kecil nan indah❤

BROTHA I SHOT YOU 29 TIMES

Omg the memories tho at chucky cheese
20:50 ラスボス対応超うまい
full nostalgia
My childhood.
Now I see, where the cd-i lucky Luke got the inspiration from it. The train and horse chase shooting.
Hi guys just a quick question does anyone remember a similar game for neo geo with bulls shooting sheriff stars. Thank you
I think it was cowboys of moo mesa.

The good old time
途中インディアン(この呼び方もアレかもしれないけど)と戦うのは問題ありにならない?
Back when game devs didn't give a shit about stereotypes, lol.
Shoutout to Rollertown in Visalia that had this arcade game!
Ah, the good ol' days!... When in your game intro you could slaughter people shooting them while you smile and smoke a cigar, and then, recover hp by fornicating with prostitutes.
Is this game about depopulating the US west of the Mississippi?
Oh, Steve!
Cool ❤️🔥
Este juego no deja elegir el personaje desde comienzo 😢 solo lo permite la versión de SNES , aunque está versión tiene mejor calidad de audio y video.
Wooooo!

😆 Today, I was randomly humming my favorite level...now, it "randomly" popped up in my recommendations. Big Brother isn't listening at all, sir...
