    Hi, I live in South Africa and a lot of our cooking is a fusion of many cultures. One of my favourite dishes is babotjie which is served with yellow rice with raisins. I love your channel 🎉 and you and your husband's sense of humour

    I have a thing about antique lamps also. They just don't make things like they use to! I get such a giggle out of your goofs, I do the same thing all the time. I live at the east coast and we have a lot of shrimp and crab. I'm so glad I found your channel. Y'all remind me of me and my husband the way you "play" with each other. It's so refreshing!

    I also had a beautiful grandmother. There is something about that era where women were beautiful and classy.

      Losing them is the worst. We had a brother and sister prior to these two who I about died when we lost them. the boy lived to 18 and it wasn’t long enough. They like me way more than my kids do 😂

    I bought Carne Asada & Pollo Asada in Arizona! It’s absolutely delicious! I’m back in Iowa now and haven’t even searched for a source, but Mexican is very popular here.

    That is one of my favorite spices… Sazon Goya Achiote annatto con culantro. I use it in green chili stew and calabacitas and so much more.

    My husbands favorite mexica dish was carne asada. We too were from CA and it was easy to find...now in texas..nope lol.
    Another cut we cant find here easily is tri tip. Brisket is in abundance lol. Have a blessed day

      We can never find tri tip and we love it! We have to ask the butcher or the local dude who raises meat cattle for them. Weird!

    I’ve been looking for a chemical-free face wash. Would you have such a recipe? I just found out that the ones I’ve been using (Cerave and Cetaphil) are loaded with chemicals, including SLS!

    • @LittleHillHomesteadGa
      @LittleHillHomesteadGa  3 дні тому +1

      I used one of those brands for a long time! I honestly use goat milk soap as my face wash. I’ll have a video on how to make it soon or just look for one that is unscented in a bar form. Castile soap diluted is good as well and follow with a good oil.
