Ok, ok, just ONE more thing. Onions, like garlic, are extremely healthy for you. Try using a food processer to pulverize them into a paste, & even carmelize them too. The added flavor is so awesome in so many dishes and your heart health will thank you!
My favorite Halloween movie is probably "Hocus Pocus 1". But I do love "Beatleguise 1". I haven't seen "Beatleguise 2" yet. "Hocus Pocus 2" was good, but not as good as the first one. "The Halloween Tree", "Something Wicked this Way Comes", "Halloween Town 123&4", "Monster Party", "Practical Magic", and all of the "Addams" movies are all good. The new "Wednesday" TV series is excellent. And then of course there's the classics.😅 I love watching y'all's videos. They always make me happy. 😊
I make a really good simply chicken salad. Chicken breast chopped or shredded, thinly sliced celery, grated carrot, diced white onion, mayo, salt n pepper. It’s so good!!! Another one is shredded chicken breast, thinly sliced celery, diced onion, chopped walnuts or pecans, pineapple tidbits and mayo.
I love the garlic in the jar - I call it jarlic - I even now use the minced onions in the jar also. Also, the onions and garlic are not always good. The last bag of onions I bought half were bad in the middle. It is so nice to be married to a hubby who loves cracking jokes - mine is always making me laugh. Thanks for sharing.
Jessica, have you tried grating the onions on the small holes of the grater? For some, it allows the flavor of onion add to the dish, but not necessarily noticeable to the onion averse

On the poblano peppers try using the air fryer 375 for 10 mins. It’s what I do so I have less of a mess & it’s quick. I do it every week to have roasted poblano on hand.
I cook thighs in the crockpot for hours then debone them: add the meat back into the broth an bag it up ready for soup , gumbo, jambalaya chicken and dumplings etc

Please make real original King Ranch chicken casserole some time. Texas Monthly published the recipe. This soup is a travesty compared to the real King Ranch Casserole which is from the King Ranch in Texas. The King Ranch covers 800,000 some odd acres and is one of the largest ranches in the world.
Why is everything White? Or is it me? Cabinets, Counters, Dutch Oven, your Sweater. At least your nails are Lavendar looking. Everything looked real good but too much white stuff.

I eat a lot of chicken, I prep some in the crock pot,some in the instant pot, and some in the air fryer, all different ways, and flavors.

I would suggest roasting your garlic a little longer until it’s more golden. Gives it so much more flavor, but your soup looks delicious

That's funny, but I'm a fan of leaving the skins on, period. I hate peeling potatoes, I just leave them on, for any recipe.
