@MrStorrytime go to the drafting table there's the option to revert your house back to the full basic house, after door and roof, before main hall. If you haven't started building the wing extension at all apart from the rope fence marking the area when you select it, you can just change which wing you want in the drafting table. You can't once you started building without reverting to the basic house :)
It is true. Each wing has the option of a patio roof addition (armory, bedroom, storage), a slanted roof addition (kitchen, greenhouse, trophy room), or a tower (library tower, enchanting tower, alchemy tower).
whoever played skyrim long enough knows that you don't need to bother if you accidentally pushed or dropped something out of place, when you leave the house, fast travel somewhere, than fast travel back in, the thing will be automatically back in place.
counted over 126 storage places in my house if you have the kitchen, greenhouse, and trophy room. I started stealing all kind of plates and food to make my main dining hall look cool. :)
Josh, you stay with a main house, that becomes an entry hall after you make the initial house bigger. From there you can add onto three sides. The north eat and west sides of the main structure. Each if these three sides gives you three options of unique add ons to the house. For instance the north side gives the option of a trophy room, alchemy tower, or storage room. You can only choose one of the three options. Should you change your mind later I think you can demolish the room and rebuild.
hello you can fire the bard without killing them, but my question is; how do you hire a new bard once the bard gets killed and how do you purchase more chickens. I know I can buy up to five chickens at one time but after they all get killed I can no longer purchase more. I am also getting tired of buying horses, either bandits steal or kill my horse or kill my chickens and kill my cow, I have to keep buying more and they even killed my bard. My steward will only purchase a horse or cow and that's all. Is it just my system or is this just the way it is? P.S. Bandits also kidnapped my wife while I was out and I rescued her but now she walks backward or just walks in place, is this a glitch that I will have to live with or is there a fix? Thank you 2 wheeler
I was disappointed that you didn't have all the shrines, no video I've seen so far has every furnishing like it claims :( I know the video was made shortly after the expansion came out, but even when I look at older videos made by other people they still don't have everything. All mine lacks is ONE of the shrines because of the gem needed to craft it, but I will get it sooner or later. I laughed at the troll that asked who would get the greenhouse since it is probably the main reason to get the house in the first place. In case it wasn't a troll the reason for it is to grow ingredients for alchemy or food to cook. Personally the rooms I see almost no purpose for are enchanting, alchemy, and storage. The ones I see VERY LITTLE purpose for are armory, library, and trophy. That said, I actually made my first one with bedroom, kitchen, and storage. My idea for that house was to make it my family house, I also like to think of it as fort knox because it has an archer steward, a 1-handed housecarl, a mage husband, and a war dog pet guarding the place, plus the last dragonborn visits the place regularly :p
Elissa Davis By the last dragonborn I was referring to the player, me :) I did eventually get the last shrine btw. I have since stopped playing though, trying to get over my videogame addiction and I've been pretty successful.
NecromancerLord I made my housecarl my steward lol. One less person in Windstad Manor, I guess. Pretty much none of the additional rooms serve any essential purposes. All the blacksmith stuff are in the cellar, enchanting on second floor, alchemy on first floor, cooking in front of the fireplace, plus lots of storage. I don't think anything else are essential, except for the bedroom, if you have children, that is. The oven is unique, too, I think. And yes, the weedhouse may be essential for alchemists, but I'm not an alchemist so I don't need that. My fav rooms are the armory room, tower rooms, and trophy room. Coolest rooms, imo.
+Master Oogway I had the same layout for Lakeview Manor and made Heljarken Hall my weapons and armor house because it had a Trophy Room, Enchanting Room, and an Armory.
