Islam allows men to marry non Muslim women but he is not allowed to force the religion onto her, bc he CHOSE to marry a non Muslim; however, with that being said I think overall covering up while in the Middle East to be respectful of the culture is a good idea, but ultimately she isn’t Muslim and it’s her choice.
I wrote it in another comment, but I had a coworker in my early 20s who was very open about being severely au tistic. She and Rayne behave nearly identically, even down to their mannerisms and the cadence in how they speak. My assumption is that whatever form of au tism that my coworker has that Rayne has too and TLC didn't bother mentioning it.

I was in a bad situation dealing with a worsening neurological condition with zero family support. I wasn't able to hold a job bc of it and I moved into the spare bedroom in his house for a while. I was having episodes of confusion, delirium, and would remember nothing after coming out of them. Thankfully he was stupid and told me that we'd slept together during that time. I think he thought telling me would open up the possibility of getting back together romantically. But he just ended up admitting to sexual assault. There was a whole ordeal in the weeks that followed where he told police I stole from him and hired a PI to stalk me. But I'm in a great place now and I make sure to teach my daughters that nobody has the right to touch them in any way without their permission. I’m dealing with that same thing right now from my daughter’s dad, my ex who constantly mauls me when he comes over to my house and flashes his bits and pieces at me. It’s traumatic. I just freeze up. I had a major glow up after I healed from the brokenness I was after he betrayed me in the worst way and now he feels entitled to my body. I still have some healing and strength to gain obviously. But men like this make me never wanna be with another one as long as I live

The courts can and will set up a neutral third party person to handle exchanges for visitations. I was married to an abusive man years ago and getting that no contact restraining order for a year was crucial for me to heal so he wouldn't be able to confuse, gaslight, and manipulate me into doing what he wanted. I don't want to make any assumptions but if he thinks it's fine to assault you (exposing himself is still sexual assault even if he didn't touch you), he could be capable of harming your child. Regardless, I really hope you find peace and security in your life again.

I think that Rayne has some kind hero complex/mentality going on. She wants to be this symbolic pillar of light in Chidi's life, and the fact that he has the support of his sister and his own family means, in Rayne's mind, that he doesn't need her. Which I mean, he absolutely DOESN'T need her, but still. Having supportive family members around him also makes him harder to control, from an abuser's/manipulator's standpoint.

It's just a small correction. men are NOT allowed to shake the hand of women that he is not related to. his wife, mother, sister, aunts, etc. not cousins or sisters-in-law. free mixing is limited between the genders. You cannot get ketamine by prescription. Ketamine has to be administered by a medical professional, and it's administered as an infusion through an IV. It’s horrible that moment when you realize “omg this is Not normal or ok.” It rocked my world when a guy friend was the one to communicate that to me after telling him about something that an ex had done. It was an epiphany. Forever grateful to him. I want to say parents really Need to have open conversations with their kids about intimacy. I was having episodes of confusion, delirium, and would remember nothing after coming out of them. Thankfully he was stupid and told me that we'd slept together during that time. I think he thought telling me would open up the possibility of getting back together romantically. But he just ended up admitting to sexual assault. There was a whole ordeal in the weeks that followed where he told police I stole from him and hired a PI to stalk me. But I'm in a great place now and I make sure to teach my daughters that nobody has the right to touch them in any way without their permission. Some family members have gotten offended bc I didn't make my girls hug or kiss them. And to that I say, You can die mad about it 🤷
I’m dealing with that same thing right now from my daughter’s dad, my ex who constantly mauls me when he comes over to my house and flashes his bits and pieces at me. It’s traumatic. I just freeze up. I had a major glow up after I healed from the brokenness I was after he betrayed me in the worst way and now he feels entitled to my body. I still have some healing and strength to gain obviously. But men like this make me never wanna be with another one as long as I live

The courts can and will set up a neutral third party person to handle exchanges for visitations. I was married to an abusive man years ago and getting that no contact restraining order for a year was crucial for me to heal so he wouldn't be able to confuse, gaslight, and manipulate me into doing what he wanted. I don't want to make any assumptions but if he thinks it's fine to assault you (exposing himself is still sexual assault even if he didn't touch you), he could be capable of harming your child. Regardless, I really hope you find peace and security in your life again.

I think that Rayne has some kind hero complex/mentality going on. She wants to be this symbolic pillar of light in Chidi's life, and the fact that he has the support of his sister and his own family means, in Rayne's mind, that he doesn't need her. Which I mean, he absolutely DOESN'T need her, but still. Having supportive family members around him also makes him harder to control, from an abuser's/manipulator's standpoint.
