😢 it makes me think back when my dad got sick and was in a nursing home. My brother and I were left in the care of my aunt and uncle and great grandma. It was so hard because none of them knew how to give my brother his insulin and I was left to do it I was about maybe 11/12. It was traumatic. The school found out it was me giving him the medicine and they brought a nurse to teach my aunt and uncle. But I feel that pain the son is feeling, Joana should have thought things better because kids are first in my mind as a mom now. It’s just so sad.

But in regards to her kids not liking her husband..To be fair..Teenagers or older children usually dont like the new person that comes into their parents life. However..over time they usually will learn to like that person if they are in fact a good person. Speaking from experience as a mother with a 17 year old, my daughter did not like any of the men I dated until my current relationship. She took to him right away which was shocking to me as I fully expected the typical response. So sometimes it just goes to show your kids may know better than you do. The surgeon is referring to the Golden Mean. It's been used since it was invented in ancient Greece. All countries use it in the West i.e. US, Europe etc. We use it at the funeral home as well when we rebuild a face. It's mathematical formula for attractiveness

Being single is awesome, and honestly most of these people need to learn to embrace themselves more to appreciate that! I think some of them can't be alone with their thoughts, and a relationship keeps them "busy." They make excuses to work on themselves because their relationship is a constant project.

I just got my nose done to help me sleep but I had 4/5 different nose surgeries but I was able to brush my teeth etc but could t sneeze with your mouth closed had to do nasal rinses etc no contact sports for 4/6 months and no s…. for at least a month

I’m gonna be 40 years old on Wednesday and I’ve been single since 2017 and I’m not hating it. I can buy a concert ticket if I want to go to dinner get a pedicure last minute if I want to I don’t have to ask permission for anything or see what my partner wants to do. One day I’ll find a partner, but I am content living my own life. I was dating someone for 10 years, but I was lucky we never lived together.

I agree, it also makes me very angry to see single mothers put boyfriends before their children. I work with special needs kids & some of them are considered "behaviorally challenged"... I know firsthand so many of their mothers bring different men in & out of their lives constantly & don't even realize the effect that is having on their children 😡
I'm that person who can't be single, but I'll never judge people who love being single. We're all built differently.
Learning to love your flaws is huge. But at the moment, everyone is striving for perfection but never find happiness in the perfection. We even had a friend whom has her toes broken because she wasn't happy how they looked in shoes.
James has realized that his decision to live in Indonesia with Tata and being so kindly hosted by her parents in their house has been the biggest mistake in their relationship because now Tata and her family gets to see exactly what type of person he is which is ungrateful, disrespectful, and a gaslighter. Tata is finally starting to call James out on all his behaviors and the literal shock on his face predicts that he genuinely thought that Tata was never going to stand up to him. I’m 100% sure they will divorce and I think Tata family will be super relieved 😂

I just can’t imagine leaving my children for a man. I had to be separated from them when I had severe mental health problems and they lived with my mum for a few months until I was functioning again and that was hard enough. I can’t imagine being in a whole other country away from them!
