Ive just put a new guts inside of my oil pump and the 15 th gear was that loose i had it tacked on by tig , when i turn it theres a slight bind , now im a bit worried about this did your pump have a slight tight spot when turning all or smooth , i checked clearances everything in spec but that bind shouldn't be there i reckon

Shouldn’t have a bind , I’d recommend removing the outer part of the pump to see if the bind goes away, then you’ll know
