Bradley, you've been such a gem to watch. Thank you. Congratulations and best of luck. Gabe! Well deserved. I look forward to watching you and Kingson trail ride.
Glad you enjoyed the video! And about the issues; there's a reason these are called prototypes. All issues we found were communicated to NOSFET, who promptly resolved said issue in the production models. Their communication has been great! :)
@@gabinator1177 We'll see. I still think that the 4 teeth aren't enough for long term use. I bet someone will make aftermarket suspension arms that completely remove the adjusting ability in favour of more strength. That is the only way it'll last I think. But that'll make it the best trail wheel on the market. Over 135mm of travel is still far better than most wheels on the market.

Gosh I got quite glassy at the end there…. What a journey it was! Endless thanks to the amazing EUC community for embracing my weird (often cringe) personality and supporting our videos (and the business!) Right?! Me too man 🥹. What a journey it’s been! Thanks for all the good times we shared. I know I’ll see you in Costa Rica so it’s not goodbye but more so… Hasta Luego ✌️
I highly prefer the cast-pedals with snubs because I’d rather keep the wheel price low and choose my own pedal design from an aftermarket source. No manufacturers have OEM pedals that aren’t worth upgrading for most riders. So let’s be grateful when there’s no trolley-handle, no MTB spiked pedals, and no fancy pads (although side-panel included would be welcome and cheap). I like how the Apex cut costs where reasonable yet boldly ventured into new territory. Although the updated suspension gears may have already solved the problem, I’m still going to suggest an alternative gear design for v2. Either side of the existing straight gear section should be split into two separate laser-cut plates to be sandwiched, welded or screwed together after cutting the teeth diagonally in opposite directions. This makes a cheap herringbone gear that can handle greater side loading from frame twisting or off-tracking.
I’ll still be running things alongside Dave. I just won’t be in the store anymore. Dave is running the store on the ground and I’ll run the company as CEO remotely.
