Because Asuka ain't no Dragunov, Nina or Alisa 😂. She is technically bad when compared to them. When playing asuka you have to be a hypnotist playing Mind games all the time while the others don't even have put in any effort for you to be put in an oppressed state easily.
thanks coach, ive been using the knee counter to the nuts espontaneously this week and it gives a free combo , but i forget to use the ff1 . I wil take note to that 1, sidestep (2) since i never know when to use it, but stagggering first looks like a way to sneak in , thanks for this man
@@solitaryshadow3978 Yeah i do that, even though i realised it works with standing kicks, i also have to keep in mind she has asnother "wrist" counter , so she will counter any punching attack by giving a beautifiu duit dora chagui to the neck
If I may add, differently than Tekken 7, you can no longer extend the reach of basic throws by adding F input, since that becomes the new destabilizer throw mixup
Command throw means you are unable to break the throw using the generic throw mechanics. Generic throw = Can break with 1 or 2 Command throw = Can only break with specified button
Great video, coach. But is it really humanly possible to hit confirm db1,2? According to my experiments, you must press 2 not later than 24 frames after 1. The first hit is i14. So you would only have 10 frames to confirm it. Or am I wrong?
What’s up coach do you happen to plan or make a video on how to close out matches with asuka ? I always end up having my opponent on a sliver of health only to do the wrong move/ not know and selling the match.. thanks again!
B 1+4 is seldom used by Asuka players and the low is +5 on hit which can be used as a frame trap. It also has extensions for 3 or 4 which you can use to mix up the opponent. I think you should also include that as many better players already know the common Asuka moves and how to counter them.
It’s not the great mixup that people make it out to be. You can effectively fuzzy timing extensions rendering it useless. The mid comes out faster than the low, so you can wait out the mid and then fuzzy duck to cover the low that comes out slower. The +5 on block is great however and I would encourage players to use b+1+4 > b+4 for a frame tight setup. Thanks for your comment and engagement
@@sakurablade333 When there are no gaps in the frames. For example, if you are doing ff+1 (on block) > d/b+1, 2 as a frame trap it is impossible for your opponent to mash out of this pressure. On the flip side if you used something out-of-frame such as f+2 it will be too slow and there is a chance your opponent mashes and wins the interaction
I can't wait to send this video to a friend who plays asuka, only to have him ignore it and then keep complaining that Asuka is bad
LMAOOO
Yeah ,but in Tekken 8 everyone has good moves. Tierlist wise though it won't change her position much.

@@Justlookingaround19i have the same problem in smash with pit, and I main Asuka in Tekken, do I just hate myself? lmao
As an Asuka main that's literally me fr fr
appreciate the tips coach
Of course!!!
This channel is everything I need
Thank you!
Wow what a good guide. I Never seen this type of style guide. Amazing! Great job coach. I love it! 👏
Glad you enjoyed it!
0:15 for real though realizing the usefulness of this move changes my life

@@coachkazama8434 yeah no joke the number of people i caught with a well time sidestep 2 got me out of shinryu
This sidestep singlehandedly got me to Kishin......and I was stuck in raijin for a very long time

If you get the knee counter hit your best option for combo starter might be down back 4 3 depending on where the wall is
Down back 4 3 ***
Sounds like you are on the right track, keep training!

D/b 1,2 is a pretty useful move
very nice tip currently in garyu rank (finally hahaha!) but tbh thanks for your tips i manage to rank up
Nice work!

Any time 😊
nice vid
what do u mean by “command throw”? do u just mean a non-generic throw like uf 1+2 or something else?
Command throw means you are unable to break the throw using the generic throw mechanics.
Generic throw = Can break with 1 or 2
Command throw = Can only break with specified button
Asuka best move Ki charge tackle. Insane mind games going on 😂

@@knucklesandwich-520 Absolutely, it just takes practice. You are training your twitch reflexes, which are extremely fast.

Is the move not -8 on block only?. Seems pretty good to me even if they block it and if they don't it's +5.
That move is incredibly good if you use it after a wall combo
1:44 if they add the low too it'll be good
Me using Asuka's special grab 😌
Thats the way!
May i sign up for coaching?
Of course, link is in the description
In the video you say db1+2 but you mean db1,2.
