Phillip, NNO code nothing in the pcm/tcm before watching u going to that air intake to find out the damage boot i was aiming the area around throttle body it self or around good find as always brother.
🙏🏻 I am looking at a 2004 Toyota Highlander that has the same symptoms while on a steep incline or decline and on some turns. Fluid level is correct. Rides great on flat road surfaces at all speeds. Next test was going to be a stall test, but I will check in the area of the intake boot next.
I have a 2019 nissan sentra that stutters when I accelerate after a stop. Had trans replaced with a brand new one. It's better but still happens sometimes when I accelerate slowly. Especially when warm.
Could be dozens of things involved. Need to see what the fuel trims are doing during the hesitation. Check other data parameters such as MAF, baro, tps, temperature. Check fuel pressure etc I'm assuming there are no codes.
There are lots of possibilities for the same symptoms including ignition breakdown, fuel starvation, unmetered air leak, failed mass air flow sensor and even mechanical issues in the engine. Need to start by scanning for codes and monitoring data while the problem is present.
Top of the day to you sir, I’m having similar problems too, gear one and reverse is sluggish. I scanned it and I got bad transmission speed sensor which as been challenged but the sluggishness still resist. Please i need help for my Nissan Sentra 08

@Ovietion that code indicates a problem internally in the transmission with the control valve assembly that controls the CVT ratio. There is a Technical Service Bulletin on it from Nissan. Google code P1777 and Nissan. Most shops will refuse attempting repairs internally on those CVT transmissions. I'd recommend a reputable transmission shop. Good luck.
Thank you sir! I was having the same issue with no codes to read. Popped the hood and BOOM same tear like this one. Thanks again, have a great one!!

I’ve seen this on Honda civics as well.
You can duct tape the hole until the new intake hose comes in.
Yes the last one I had was a civic.
nice old school find

Does it only occur when low on fuel. Maybe the fuel pump is sucking air.

Have you figured out what it is?
I have a 2009, have replaced the hose and mine still does the hesitation on take off and in between it changing gears...I have no clue what it is?

Im having this same issue hesitation after takeoff 2017 Nissan Sentra
Anybody figure it out?
It only does it sometimes
Did you check the induction boot for cracks?
Did this fix your hesitation problem?
Yes it did...
Mine do the same thing but everything looks ok

@@PhillipBailey The scan result is P1777
