Brutal Murder of an Old Lady: Ribchester Murder & Hangings

Murder Story (Podcast style) - if you visit the rural and leafy village of Ribchester, just outside Longridge in Preston, Lancashire it looks like such a pretty and harmless place but back in the Victorian era it was home to the brutal murder of landlady, Anne Walne.
We stumbled across the scene of the murder (an old beer house) during an urban exploration and only found out about the murder afterwards, so in this podcast-style video we tell you all about the murder and bringing the assailants to justice.
We just wanted to credit Sir Peter Openshaw, who knew Sue’s Dad back in the day. Peter is a local historian who has performed local presentations and talks of the murder, and whose research was used to help make this podcast/video.
