Thanks for being stop number 1 on our Journey! What a great way to start this epic trip!
Where is your fine stop off to Glendale, Utah in this journey?
They are the transmission specialists of the dang world. 😉
I hear they have a uniquely delicious flavor of Mountain Dew down there called "stolen" too.
Donut who? Dumbest forced video ever!
Matt lowkey looks like James from Donut
@@faisalhossain1484 His cool older cousin forsure
Need to put a turbo on it.
I haven't watched discovery channel in years but i wonder if their car shows have improved now that youtubers are able to demonstrate what a good car show should be.
No clipboard throwing, no fake deadlines.
man this is such a solid comment. So damn true, I haven't even thought of those old shows in years
Talmud Vision (TV) will never improve. What is the Talmud? Its the JewsKoran basically that says ALL non J's are GOHY
@fredericletellier6269 same, power block Nation or something like that, I'd watch it every Saturday mornings. Who needs cartoons when they're building a dope OBS
Yeah, the fake deadlines and always in a rush. Just got really old and contrived. There’s enough drama without BS.
Just look at Gas Monkey on UA-cam compared to when it was on TV, way different.
Matt and company, channels like this are the reason people like me quit paying for cable television. Awesome content as always
That’s absolutely right.
Amen to that.
For sure
That's right I watch the entire Morr community, the fab rats Robby, RAD Rudy, Rory bleepeeper jeepers, of course cousin Merlin
Me too!!
You guys did an awesome job building the rock sliders! I’m happy to see that your derby days helped in the pinning process of this frame :) the list of things I had to finish was very small so thank you for that haha!!
Can you guys paint that thing red with a yellow roof like a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe?
Love ya Robby, was just about to head over to your channel next lol
Nevermind, I see Donut already posted a video with the finished product...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ed was like, get this guy away from me.
But I bet he didn't mind Donuts camera operator!
😅
Yup !!
@@AeroGuy07eww... simp much?
The look on his face when the "long-haired hippie" wanted to speak to him, lolol
I have 4 X90s, the first two were daily drivers for my wife and I for at least 4-5 years. 2 are lifted, 2 are stock. And I'm about an hour drive from Silver Lake Sand Dunes on the shore of Lake Michigan. Great for tight 2 tracking where my XJ won't fit. I live in a national forest so plenty of tight twisty trails to explore.
Silver Lake is a BLAST in 1986 me and my siblings all went there for the day with 3 wheelers it was a GREAT TIME
Cool collection man, I've always been a fan of the X90 and seldom see them nowadays.
If i had a few extra thou floating around, i'd be interested permanently borrowing one of those!
“Looking right isn’t as important as looking cool.” 😎 Words to live by...
A freind of mine had one of those ,but it was white, and sat up much higher with larger tires. Looked like a stomper.
This would have been pure joy for me as a young person. You are doing a wonderful job with all these younger people you are teaching.
I'm loving that all my favorite car youtubers are making collabs.
The fake drama with arguing and fake deadlines made those shows unwatchable. Networks didn’t think we would watch regular guys working on and driving cars. But now Matt has his own app
1:45 As one who wore hearing protection for 21 yrs in Naval Aviation, I always got a chuckle out of others who talked loud with theirs on. When it's quiet, we can all hear you...even with hearing protection on. Still, great content!
at work i have full cover ear muffs with bluetooth in them and people constantly come up and talk to me in a regular tone of voice as if I'm not wearing them🤣🤷🏻♂
Being so light, you can let the tyres down to 8psi for perfect sand footprint and they will float on the sand. And with the light coil suspension, they can be so nice to ride in offroad compared to other bigger vehicles. Would've been cool with a v6 in them
That ending by Matt "I am Tarzan from Jungle!"!😅😂 Tom's "I don't know that One!" Priceless!!!😂🤣😅😆
That dive off the paddle board is NUTS 😂
20 years from now, we'll be watching Rhetts Off Road Recovery.
Really
Look at rudi
He is being recovered
Rhett has a long long ways
B4 even rudi can rescue
He is still being rescued by
Matts crew.
Won't take 20 years!
Yep! And Matt will be Ed😂
The RORRvair.
ROaaaRR. 😂
@@plusblood5101I mean... Matt needs rescued all the time too ...
So much positivity, fun and smiles on everyone's faces, what more can you ask for.
I had X90 a long time ago. It was fun to drive without the Targa roof. 1 Holiday I drove, with my wife and our baby in between, for 3 weeks through France and mostly Spain from the Netherlands.
Matt, I'm impressed with the way you let and encourage the younger members of your crew to take an active part in all activities. Just curious, how old is Rhett?
If I'm not wrong, he is 18
Is Rhett Matt's son? He looks a lot different than Rudy lol
@doobielawson702 He is. Matt actually have many children. I can't remember if he have 5 or 7 children (according to google)
@@doobielawson702 Rudy is Matt’s son with his first wife. Rhett is Matt’s son with Jaymie (as are Kaulin and Carter).
ssssst
@@doobielawson702
Notice those see-through rocker panels? That's the beginning of what REAL rust is.
My favorite for a spare mount was a complete hub assembly, that way if you snap a stud or loose a hub, you have spares.
That's a fantastic idea!
That’s what I use as well. An old bearing/hub. Same lug nuts so you don’t need a different socket
@@osquad1346 Also great for trailers, blow a hub seal in the middle of nowhere? one cotter pin and castle nut, clean the spindle and install entire assembly, back underway faster than Daytona!
That Was A 4 Wheeler Magazine Idea In About 1978 - But That Is Just What You Need On An Extended Trailer Hitch Wibble Wobble Spare Tire Mount, More Weight
Henry says to Ed, "it's goofy" and Ed thinks to himself; "yes, you are."

Dude insults Ed’s Suzuki and Eds like where’d you find this guy? lol
Where did they find this guy🤔. Should I know who that is?…cause I have no clue!
He insulted the X90, not Ed's Suzuki.
And why care?
I've been laughing so hard ! In the end, you doubled the value AND doubled the weight of that classic.
Matt. Use a jam nut. Drill a hole that allows a 3/4” headed bolt to pass through. Weld the nut to the receiver. When you insert the square hitch tube into receiver then you tighten bolt through welded nut against hitch tube n no rattle. It stays tight. I’ve used them on 4 or 5 pickups. Works great. Quick fix w $1.00 in parts. Of course you still need to insert pin n cotter pin.
Matt, it's great to see and adult that has never grown up and having fun but still has time for serious work.
I, personally love the X90. It's a great little 4x4. But I also love the Sidekick. And if I wasn't so wide, myself, I'd own one to play with.
Yeah my nissan r50 is nothing like this but it's narrow enough to go down any 4x4 trails even just atv trails. Super fun
Awesome job on helping him get the stuff put together and put on too. Keep up the great work.
I really love Rhett. That kid just seems to absorb information when he's got a proper teacher and it seems like the entire shop is involved with teaching him. Its funny the only welding I know how to do is forge welding, like they did in the iron age. I'd be proud to have Rhett teach me how to weld in a modern fashon. That kids got it Goin on!
Spray painting Henry's rig PINK in the first 30 seconds was hilarilously awesome!
That's a slick setup. That tire carrier needs a 2nd fuel or even a water can on the other side to balance the look.
Bah, symmetry is overrated
Really nice to see James' dad willing to help out the rest of the Donut crew.
Cool little rig. That front bumper is beefy, but those mounting plates don't look adequate. I would be adding some additional mounts to the corners to make it solid.
One day I'll get an X90. I love my Trackers, they have their quirks, but are a blast off-road. Crawler gears paired with a steel front diff makes them solid.
That was a neat looking vehicle and fixing it up was interesting. I'd like to see it climb some rocks after putting the sliders on there. Like Colin in his cool shades
Matt hitting us up with all the Scandinavian 90's pop hits! 😂
With that sick little freestyle, don't forget
Ed’s like get this damn hippie away from me.🤣🤣
Matt I'm so impressed how you involved the younger guys in all things, you're a cool master, thanks for a great program, you rock it as usual 👌💪🙌
I’m impressed that those rusty parts like doors and fenders didn’t fall off. Or the front shocks didn’t punch through the hood.
I'm totally on board for more Suzuki content. When's Matt going to build his Samurai properly?
Same here! I've been looking forward to that build. Sammies are really cool rigs. My buddy built a real beast of a Sammy. It will go almost anywhere.
Great video, you bunch are great people
All the best to you all.
@ 1:52 'Seagulls, Stop it NOW!' You sir, are a man of taste and refinement.
That made my day!!! And dang it Matt, now it'll be stuck in my head for a week
@@DiegoDiazRocks totally agree!
Mighty car mods and Matt’s off road recovery both having donut features in a day, how good
that would be a collab. MCM & MORR each visiting the other's home turf...
He is also on bobby Layton's video of the day
Henry needs a matching gas can for the right side of the spare tire. (Or water can.)
Great video thank you!
Very impressive. The music montage was awesome and the cliff/drone shots were incredible.
I would have killed to have the childhood your boys are having!
I think the X-90 was a little more prevalent up here in Canada but of course there are not many left. If he is planning to drive that home to the east coast maybe some thought should have gone into the rear tag display?
They should start a pool on how far they get with an obstructed license plate.
Matt, Tom, Jake, Rhett, Donut...great video --- Matt, love your singing jingles & bringing in the history video's of the Corvair's....my Uncle loved them too!!
Very good job you guy's on the old Suzuki 👏 haven't seen it before..
Wish Rudy was back on the channel full time again
2:10 Two thumbs up for the camera girl !
what a wonderful talented family and team. god bless u guys
I always get excited when I see you guys doing something with Donut. Well, I get excited by all your videos, but the donut shenanigans are great.
So we got a call, In today's episode,
TomTom holds a spear,
Jamiee holds a sword, and
Matt holds a shield, This is going to be One EPIC Adventure.
FIRST!!!!! Take away all the big butts and you're FIRST!!!!!! YAY!!!!
Bots get no love... Hooray! for real people!!!
YT would rather keep the bots. It’s a way they can punish creators and frivolously demonetize them.
Sounds like the beginning of a top gear episode. 😅
Matt, you might try going to a scrap yard for steel. One never knows what they might come back with. I get a lot of my tools at scrap yards. Just look at some of the stuff Paul or the kids drag home.
Yup, I know where all the local scrap yards are. Much of my 'Yota was built from a 'trash heap'. Recycle and repurpose is my motto. My grandfather lived thru the depression and taught me that. It's also very affordable and it's 'green'.
@@rollinrat4850 my grandpa did the same, and my dad taught me a lot about improvising things to make them work. I have a compact tractor I'm building, and only a few of the parts are agriculture related. The drive axle is from an electric Hyster forklift front axle and has a 4.5:1 ratio. It will be hydrostatic, as I find that easier to work with. The hydraulic motor and pump are from a Hustler mower, and I haven't determined what motor is going into it yet
@@Farm_fab That sounds pretty cool. I'm trying to develop and build my own swamp cooler for my truck. We had a really neat vintage cast aluminum cooler in the '60s (when I was a kid) that we used for summer trips through the Mojave desert. It hung on the window and would spit cool water in our face every once in awhile.
My lifelong lifestyle hobby is bicycles. I use old stuff to build really weird yet useful non motorized transportation.
I despise the idea of ugly landfill and all the new Asian made junk that always ends up there. There's so much well made useful stuff out there for practically free. It just requires a little time and patience to make useful again.
Beutiful job...everyone involved, especially Rhett...he's getting to be great welder.
Tom is the engineering dept.,..Great.
That little Donut machine is gonna look cool.
That was deferent . Thanks for sharing !
Those digital battery testers are so inconsistent. I've seen bad batteries test as good and good batteries test as bad. The only way to really test a battery is with a load tester and multimeter.
Loving all the MORR x Donut collabs, always so entertaining! That X-90 is pretty impressive, what an interesting little rig.
I know that's it's going to be damn near impossible to replace Lizzy, but having the cuteness in the shop again was nice, even if she was just trying to not be seen on camera. Maybe an internship program with a local college who has a broadcasting/social media program?
Very nice camera work, and editing. Thanks for the video
Without a Matt's Recovery rope it's just another sand ornament ✌️
YAY
So, are you 7th? or 5th if we discount the peaches?
5 after the big butts leave!@@ColinRichardson
Hi Matt and gang, I actually love that X90, it looks cool, short stocky and cool. Pleased you brought us along and Henry sure looked pleased. stay safe guys and girls, looking forward to the next one.
Coming from a history of samurai's and trackers, ive wanted one of these for a few years now. Something about a bright red sub compact humming along on 31's with the T Tops out just sounds wonderful
HEY! Gooooood morning ans thumbs UP to Matt and crew!👍👍👊👊👀
😘
😁👋@@JanelleVocate-Ames
Did Matt just tell Rhett to put safety glasses on?😮
I drove a "Mystic Magenta" Geo Tracker that actually looked like a Pepto Bismol (TM) bottle on wheels for 14 years, and I loved that vehicle. I never used it for heavy-duty offroading, but it did exactly what I needed it to do.
You guys are awesome! This will be one hot like 4wheeler.
One thing though about the spare mounting. It covers the license plate and several states don't like that.
I would think "all states" don't like that.
Your channel was so much better Matt about 2 years Ago !! I still watch, but seems you had better people back then .
Hate to see the clowns at Donut polluting good channels.
8:06 Ed gave Henry that look like, “It ain’t the Suzuki that’s weird.”
BIG fan. My first time in Utah I'm staying at the KOA in hurricane and I'm thinking about driving by your shop, and taking a picture of the famous Matt's off-road recovery shop👍🇺🇲
Love you guys..... but not a fan of DOUGHNUT. Big channel but different genre!
Different genres but also opens opportunities for Matt and Donut to try new things and teach each other things
Great job guys 😊
You guys find the rarest builds anyone would ever think about. Great stuff.
Thanks for making
I have a buddy Chris from fort Wayne Indiana who had one identical to that he ran in the gambler 500 in Michigan every year. He just sold it recently. It's the same color and everything. Even has a Subaru wing on the back of his. But he has fender flares on his and the exhaust comes up the side of the door. Still a fun machine
Loved this one. The best, HUNTER, was GRATE CAN'T Wait to watch hunters build his jeep 🫶🏻🫶🏻👍🙏🏻
Great freshen-up Matt...That little Suzuki seems 'ta be pretty capable off roader.....
Love those things! Body on frame. Needs to wind it out a little more in the sand. We take our Tracker (same chasis) all over the dines here in Oregon as well as Arizona.
As an owner of a Suzuki Vitara (Sidekick in US) this is a happy moment. A classic off road vehicle in Matt´s family. 🐕🦺
The arcs coming off right about 14:00 are gorgeous and mesmerizing.
I'm a fan of the rectangular tube kick panel replacement, but the sliders turned out pretty good.
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Years ago a mechanic friend of mine solved the receiver hitch wiggle problem by welding a nut over the hole on the inside of one side and grinding the tip of the correct size bolt to a taper so it will pilot in from the other side. It works slick as Barbie snot and no extra parts either!
Bubblegum Dance music haha - he's referring to Toy-Box, Tarzan & Jane. That's hilarious. I can see that being played while driving around in this car 🤣🤣
Awesome video, love the Donut collabs.
Thanks for sharing? I think I many use some information I learned. How to put rock sliders on anything and pinning the frame.
The song i think of is the Amigo song. Amigo, amigo….. with the car bouncing down the stairs. Hahahaha. That commercial was awesome.
Great video....stay safe you all
I was never into rock crawling until watching this channel and their friends channels too!
Great. Now i have barbie world song stuck in my head. Thanks Matt! 😂
Kaulin's "I have a few questions." (12:29) was the spit-take line of the video. Perfect delivery.
LOL, Rowdy. "Whatever. I'm representin'" That was great.
Welding is not about pulling the trigger, it’s all about ,jigging and warping control
Matt that X 90 is definitely one of a kind and something I have never seen before I would have the same reaction that Colin did seeing it for the first time
Time to add some HP to that little go cart!!🤣
Good stuff 💯
Another awesome video!
Yes, the rock sliders are great. Gave me some ideas for my 05 Jeep Liberty diesel. Oh Matt. I think you really ought to consider the spare gas can🤔🤔😂😂😜😜
ED said the Suzuki is not goofy. You are goofy! 😂 😂
I seen the look 😂
