What do ads have to do with inspiration?
If your tire comes off the bead you can also use a ratchet strap around the tire in the middle to make it seal against the rim and air it up that way. I learned that from my Grandfather when I was a kid growing up on a farm. He used to do it on tractor tires. It works on any tire with a substantial sidewall. I've personally done it on tractors, lawnmowers, and off road tires 👍
Could probably do it with the winch line.

I've had to do this to my stretched tires. When the old guys at work saw me do it to a UPS truck tire, they were like "wtf did you learn that??"

Well, the problem is Z06 is not a cheap car to buy and even if you can find them on high mileage, its still expensive to bought. '04 Corvette Z06 price is about >30k USD on most car sales and thats on above 30k mileage. IF you can found less than 10k mileage, the price will be on 40k range while the brand new car is on 50-60k back in 2004.
If you guys saying I am defending them for unfair sabotage, think again. Why they will give you an expensive used car easily unlike previous one??? Used 350Z, C10, Integra or Subaru are much easier to find them below 10k while used Corvette Z06 '04 starts from 25k USD which already 2-3x times more than their budgets.
Even most challenges on TV show always doing like that when the stakes are high, they dont want lose the profit or else they will bankrupt after airing for few months. This is the reality of our world, we will cheat when stakes are high while on low stakes we let them win.

Turned out good it broke. Had it not broken, he would have been done with 20-30 min remaining, and no drama with the clock running close......

I have seen countless offroad axle changes on UA-cam, mostly on 4WD 24/7 so I figured that was a job I could tackle on my own outside my house. Within 20m of all of my tools, on solid ground and with an entire day... I couldn't get the lower ball joint to separate. My ranger has torsion bars on the front, they were forcing the lower control arm upwards into the hub. With hindsight I should've realised this was the problem, but I spent nearly 6 hours and still couldn't get it done.
I am going to have to get a lot better at bush repairs before I even try any solo trails

Man I have watched donut for years but you just keep getting better and better and kudos to KC what a sharp move teaming up with you guys. You make me want to work on my cars…and my cars love that!
I love how Donut finds a way to make sponserships actually interesting to watch. This is the only channel where I often don't skip the sponser ads. The keeps ones are a little repetitive and annoying, but even those are comical the first time around. The KC sponsership was pretty well done. My favorite so far is the video game ad that was amazing.

This made me so thrilled & filled with anxiety through the roof! I just finished replacing my U joint, drive shaft, & rear drum rotors & brakes on my 98 3rd gen 4runner. She drives as smooth as butter. I’m moving next to my timing belts & tensioners,then smooth sailing into putting a 3 inch lift & a whole new light bar on her. Cheers gents!

I have one of those 4runners, blew the cv a few times. takes 10 minutes to replace, so easy to do!
Love the video. very interesting to watch. This video is actually a good reason why you don't use the flammable trick to seat a tire, it is just not reliable and can cause more problems then it solves and is a last resort when you don't have access to an air compressor. In my years of working service truck I have found that 80% of the time you can just do what they did and shift the tire on the rim and make a seal. When that failed I switched to something we called murphy's grease, a thick vegetable grease that you shove in all the cracks to make a seal. It makes a mess, but can be re-used and always works.
Absolutely love this offroad spin on the challenge. This 3rd gen 4runner is probably the best giveaway so far!
On my 2000 taco, i did not need to take the brakes off to replace the front CV’s. Took me all day being my first real mechanic fix but it is quite simple and easy once you know how
this video is a perfect example of how the simplest method will work best & take ur time & think so act carefully in emergency’s

Breaking the anchor was all me lol, I was trying to get it solid in the ground but it was pretty poor metal. Can confirm that part wasn't staged

As an avid Jeep guy learning to pick a line and stack rocks is an art form. I’ve never had a spot I couldn’t get my Jeep through or out of with critical thinking. But being under a time constraint makes this incredibly hard.

had to pull over to fix a part on our car on a road trip last week, didnt have bolts or zipties for the job, so i peeled some wires from some shredded tire on the side of the road like a twizzler, and fixed it up with my newly aquired roadside twist-ties.

Real mechanic stuff, swapping out a steering coupler on a 07 Silverado with the 08 body style, got a coupler out of another Silverado, the coupler had facings in 45 degrees the opposite direction but same part number

Clearly knew the type of truck and there is so much new hardware on there its making it a bit easy (can't put axles in covered in mud or dust) but good effort.
I would of lifted back axle with jack then put rocks under it once and don't know where you got that sand anchor but if its not made out of steel (not cast) then its probably going to break
Don't see many of those in imperial jade mica anymore, beautiful. My father was lucky enough to have his 1st gen taco in imperial mica for 13 years before rust took the frame. Made me laugh a little when Justin and Nolan made the comment about old parts being faster to remove than to put new ones on! No such privilege here in KY lol

Using those boat anchors before for a house boat, learned so much. Woulda nailed that part (nothing else idk offroad lol). Trick is to hit the center of the actual anchor on top, into an angle flat enough to dig and not pull out from too much vertical, but not too low to drag through sand.
He could've still used that anchor if he looped the winch cable thru the base and attached it to itself with the D-ring. He would've had to bury the shit out of it though. I would've tried to do it off the road so it would help pull the truck laterally.
Would not have made as interesting video though. If that was scripted nice job producing another great video

I've worked at that location where they tried to inflate the tire. They wanted them estimate for a mini split there but it's a garage so they only have to use a swamp cooler
