Ive realized that at this point, if you can't remove it, its no longer considered a stain, and is now just a different color in the rug. Its still impressive how light you were able to get it in the end. Your skills are unparalleled!
That's one of the things I love about this channel: A lot of people complain about carpet/rug cleaning channels are fake, the filth being placed on it on purpose, and pretending to clean something that was really dirty. This channel doesn't do that. it's not just the usual "cleaning mud" channel. This guy gets his content from actual events and people: pet "leftovers", mold, grass, maggots, worms, and God knows what else. You don't see that in other channels.
You did an excellent job to get it where it was in my opinion. Can't win them all unfortunately. I think this is a rug that has been so damaged, it's holding onto stains. It even held on to some of the blue, even after constant scrubbing afterward. I can not believe how bright the yellow was 🤢 bet you needed a peg on your nose for that one haha.
Wow, James, you gave that one all you had and then some. It must be useable for something, dog bed or kennel maybe. It came out much cleaner than I thought it would. Great job as always.🥰❤
❤ I think the effort was worth it. This rug made a cool video for everyone to see. Sometimes when a stain doesn't come out, maybe it did. It's just a color in the rug you didn't notice before. Ha ha
I have seen many rug cleaners clean they're rugs, and many of them can do a good job, but you are the best rug cleaner out here hands down!!! You thoroughly make sure that your rugs are literally spotless from top to bottom. I love the different color of shampoos you use, and your most popular machines, Mr Dirt Reynolds and R2clean2. Keep these great videos coming.
At the very start, it's my first time that I hear someone talking their lol, and I can smell that from my phone. And the commentary was like: 'It stinks pffff' like that big cheesy rug a few months ago 😂
I think it's always worth the effort to try. Our living room carpet was filthy and I was going to rip it up and get new - but wanted to get it cleaned to see what would happen. It looks almost new with the cleaning.
The multiple shades of yellow during the first swing with Dirt Reynolds had me appalled. With the length of time those stains had to set in, I am astounded on how much you were able to get out. You do such a fantastic job. It isn't perfect, but it is certainly A LOT less awful. Thank you for this.☺
Sir you deserve a medal just for braving the SMELL! Not sure I'd use it, but it came out much closer to pristine than I would have expected. Might be time for the owners to dye it 😅
Honestly, I love seeing the funny pun nicknames for some of the cleaning equipment. R2-Clean2? Lu-Squeegee? It's little things like that, that really add to the personality of this channel, I feel.
That had to have been GALLONS of urine. I was impressed it was yellow for as long as it was. It was worth the effort of my enjoyment for sure. Super satisfying
Well. Sometimes stains, or rather the substances that cause them, are permanently staining. The carpet is still deep clean. Not back to its former beauty, but totally clean through and through. Nice video, as always. Thank you.
@@MountainRugCleaning Well, a dog can still lie cosily on it. Maybe you can find someone who could use it. Some dogs also sleep outside in a kennel, so they'll be happy to have a clean carpet. They don't care about the stains.
@@MountainRugCleaning After watching the video again (I swear, you can smell this video here and the other dog pee and dog poo video) one more question: How often do you have to suppress your gag reflex due to really bad odours? And: In terms of colour, rehydrated dog pee doesn't look too bad, but uff, it must have stunk.
Although it didn’t clean up perfect, was very satisfying to see all of the muck come out of it & the end result in comparison to the before. 😊 Great video! Keep up the incredible work. Props to Dirt Reynolds for levelling / powering up to Wee Reynolds on this one. 😅
It's funny how we become accustomed to watching brown water during these videos and although horrible, we happily watch it. THEN comes the yellow water and I found myself thinking I could smell it and saying things I can't repeat on here LOL. Odd how our brains work. Great effort 😊
Let me first say that the quality of your work is outstanding! I have not been convinced over the years that the expense of rug cleaning is worth it. We are a cat family and to date no matter what type of cleaning we have had undertaken never fully removes urine odor, in fact it seems to make it worse. What I mean is that the chemicals used leave a sickly odor with a very minor hint of urine together with that wet dog smell. The price that rug cleaners want in our area (Houston), you can buy a new rug from the multitude of rug stores that all offer great discounts. So we went through a phase of just trashing soiled rugs and replacing. Now we just have no rugs as the cats are older lol
Urine is a very difficult stain to remove, and sometimes, not even bleach can remove it. That rug had obviously been like that for a long time. You did an amazing job to get it as clean as that. Excellent 👌
Unfortunately, this stubborn lingering stain is quite noticeable. The person seeing this video would know about all the process/cleaning you did to clean and sanitize it, but anyone else who doesn't know about that would probably see it and think that it's a gross dirty/stained rug. You definitely did a great job doing your best to clean it as well as you possibly could though!
Bro, forget the stain sometimes not every rug will be perfect as new especially abused ones like this one But as long as it's deep cleaned, sanitized and deodorized that's good enough for me 😊 it was WORTH IT to clean it! Good job 👏🏽
Wow, James, that’s a lot of pee! It’s great that your stomach is strong enough to handle the smell, but please consider wearing eye protection when you’re doing biologics like this (retired nurse here). You could wind up with a nasty infection. As always, brilliant work. 😊
the rug looks nice and clean - I might cut the other part if I’m able to do so symmetrically and It can be used as a bath mat or a mat I would use in the backyard patio similar to a door mat or in my garage we have mats in all the entrance points of the house
I was just thinking I would use it on my back garden patio!! It’d look lovely and I wouldn’t fuss much if it got dirty. I’d scotch guard the dickens out of it though 😂

So…what was their motivation to finally have it cleaned? Was it so full of pee the dogs sent a sternly worded letter? Did they threatened to go on strike? “No more cuddles until the rug is pee pee free!” A petition with 100 paw prints? Hilarious 😂❤😂
You do an amazing job each and everytime. I can't believe the amount of urine coming out on the first couple of rounds. Can't believe how light it was at the end. A stain is just a stain. You can't remove stains as they're too set in.
I love that you include where rugs come from and/or where they are going. Is there ever a time when you gave up a rug as a loss? What do you consider a breaking point? It's not important for me to see you fail.😅 I am just curious.
I can’t help but think that you may need to invest in a face mask, with an oxygen tank… breathing that in can’t be good for you!!! 😱 Awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Edit: it kinda reminds me of an agate stone!
The dogs must have used it for a while to pee on. All that dirt and stuff didn't came on there just recently. I grew up with dogs and none of them ever did something like this. Well once, but it was a little puppy... If they have grown up dogs, they should take them out more often or figure out what may causes this behaviour. Usually there is something wrong when dogs start to pee somewhere in the house. Those urine stains are, like red wine and such, usually irreversible if not removed after a short period of time. All the acids and compounds in urine damaging and etching the fibers permanently. The puppy i mentioned peed on a small, coloured rug with short fibers. We found out probably a few hours after the little oopsie and it had a bleaching effect. We washed it and used it further, but as long it lasted, there was always this little, slightly bleached patch.
It’s possible that the rug was put in a kennel for them to pee on. I can’t see a rug getting this impregnated with urine in a house. Not a good thing for the dog, but there are people who might do this rather than cleaning up after them regularly.
Hello, my good colleague.. Your washing is excellent...🎉 I also love carpet washing.. I wash the carpet by hand with interesting tools and methods.🎉🎉🎉🎉
I think that stain makes it a different rug as no one but the owner will know. As long as the odor and smell is gone it should be usable again. Great job getting it almost gone.
