This will be in court for awhile so B&M should pay Vekoma for the usage in Pipeline and not build anymore until 2027. (Not sure if another is planned elsewhere, or if there is even demand for it?) Vekoma should rush their own version to market to establish a foothold while B&M is sidelined for 3 years. That would be my thinking if I owned Vekoma.

Vekoma wouldn't be able to do it the same way because B&M still arguably patented an improvement (doesn't use a slide or track for the movement).
One reason for getting patents is future use as "ammo" against anyone that would mess with them.
