Thanks! I hope you both get to Deutschland next year - would love to see those videos! On a different note, huge bummer about TT2, but I like keeping things safe.

Chuck here, gave five to Jr in passing by steel vengeance today. Nice to see they got Gemini rolling. Talked to a maintenance worker at the gas station on my way out of town and he said Top thrill 2 could be down for long long time. Let's hope zamperla and cedar points maintenance team have a few tricks up there sleeve. Keep up the good work fellaz.

The ß is a sz -to speak „ss“ - so it’s Hassloch. It’s the last letter remaining in the alphabet that designate more of a sound than a letter . Icelanders have still some of them…

Great news indeed. I live about an hour away from that park, so I will be sure visit it once they open it. For now though, I might just have to do the 2 hour drive to visit Voltron.

Looks like it’s definitely worth a two hour drive

I don think anyone would complain if they Batman the Ride the Mack Extreme Spinners, especially if it’s the RTH layout.

Nobody would complain but having two different experiences is the better option in our opinion.

It’s a spinning coaster but probably won’t go after any records.

The Mack Spinner is coming in 2026. 2025 the new Gerstlauer Family Coaster is coming, TomorrowLand and the Extreme Spinner is set 2026...not 2025.

Yeah, so we’ve heard. 😡 oh well. We were hoping we’d get to ride it next year but it is what it is.

I think the coaster will come in 2026, not 2025. In 2025 they will open the makeover of the dark ride.

A capital B in German is a double S. So imagine you are from Germany you visit Cedar Point and go to the Coca-Cola Freestyle and see a soda called PIBB. Yeah.... lol

It could even be more intense, but it doesn't mean that it will be more spectacular. The intensity is objective, the spectacularity not. And I think that the rth layout is perfect. For me, not too much nauseating intense and definitely not mild at all, the perfect level of intensity, combining more and less intense elements and all of them are perfectly enjoyable and I don't think there's so much better than this that could be done. It will end up being too much for a lot of people, they will take a lot to recover and so the re-rideability will not be at the same level. Also, I will always be against this idea. Same model, same group of parks and same theme. Where will the uniqueness of rth go? They should have valorised it keeping it unique, now they're only ruining it. And man, that's so sad.

Time will tell if it’s too intense for people. Mack and “too intense” don’t really go hand in hand so hopefully they do it just right.

@@BeachcliffStudiosyes and now Voltron is too intense for a lot of people! Mack can make intense rides. I know a lot of people who thought rth or Voltron were too much.

What a SHITTY project that is the spinning coaster in holiday park. I will never accept this, never! And don't think that coaster will be better, because more intense doesn't mean better. It will be an unconfortable mess and I bet a lot of people still will prefer the rth. They should have valorised it instead of stealing its uniqueness and its theme!

    • @BeachcliffStudios

Not many people would think negatively about this project.

@@BeachcliffStudios i absolutely don't care. I've my opinion. They shouldn't have done this choice because undeniabily rth will DIE in 2026. Like, it won't exist anymore. Everyone will forget about it, it's like throwing it in the bin.

@@BeachcliffStudios Plopsa became famous in the entire world because of RTH, when someone says the word "plopsaland" it's the first thing that comes to mind. They should be very proud of their masterpiece and should have valorised it till the end. But instead they decided to make a choice that goes in the exact opposite way, making a coaster with the same model, same theme, in a better and more affordable park (being in the centre of Europe) and they even say "with a more spectacular layout". Now, what's the point of making a slightly better version in a more convenient park? You're undermining yourselves by doing this, not only because plopsaland will be penalised entirely (why should people go in a family park in the middle of nowhere when you got a better option in a better and nearer park?!) but also because RTH will be SMASHED by the new ride. It was really an icon in the coaster world and it will undeniabily be forgotten. This situation for me is really sad because this ride has meant really the world for me and I really love it soo much. I mean, for me it's ok to have another Extreme spinning coaster in Europe, after all was really well accepted, so I could see some parks thinking about it. But man, I didn't expect this by the same company of parks, and I didn't expect that they're gonna copying also its theme. It's going to take away everything, EVERYTHING, from that masterpiece. It's won't have an identity anymore, it will no longer be "the Tomorrowland themed spinning coaster" as we know it today. If they really wanted another spinning coaster, at least have the originality of changing the theme, without wanting to compete with themselves by wanting to do something better (tbh I don't think it will be better for me, because more intense doesn't mean better! That would be too much for a lot of people imo). I really hope the new coaster won't have the elements that made rth iconic, such as double inverting dive loop, top hat, jojo roll and the two final bunny hills. In my opinion, something completely different would have been soo much better for holiday park, and unique in its own way without riuning the uniqueness of rth.

    • @aridaje4345
      @aridaje4345 3 місяці тому

@@BeachcliffStudiosWanting to make a better version doesn't make any sense. It would have been more balanced if each of the two coasters had a benefit by its side, for example: while rth is the most extreme of the two, but it's the one that's most difficult to get on, the holiday park's one is better placed, is more affordable for most people, while being a little less extreme (but not by much). To each their own. Making something better AND more affordable means destroying the other because no one will be interested unless they live near it.
I don't see coasters simply as "machines that give you adrenaline". Or at least not for all coasters. This specific ride isn't, for me, just a coaster, it's a work of art, the engineering, the theming, the experience... everything of it is pure art. And I don't think it's a good idea copying the elements that made this ride so special, because it means decreasing its value. That's why I say that something completely different would have worked so much better, because each of the two rides would have kept its uniqueness without damaging the identity of the other (so double advantage).
Now, once they saw that the model of rth worked well, they went on the "safe side" and replicated that model, the extreme spinner, because they know it attracts people worldwide. So they make money easily. They chose to make money instead of preserving THAT work of art. It's like they sold it for money. And that's completely nasty and disgusting, especially since that ride is the reason why they're so successful nowadays.
