I've been using a Grayl on my commuter for years. Of course I pre-fill, but many times I run across water sources that are suspect. Even from spigots and public bubblers.
I’ve got a great little bike tool kit with most things you need. The Wera Bicycle Kit 3, the Lezyne Torque driver, and the Park Tool chain tool. At 230 AUD (146 USD) it’s got everything you’ll need to put together a bike. It’s got 2mm up to 8mm Hex and T10 up to T40 Torx. 5.5mm up to 10mm socket, plus 13 and 15. A ratchet and a mini screwdriver that fits every bit. Plus the Lezyne torque driver fits directly into the Wera bits because they’re 8mm based. It’s a fantastic kit for everything you need. It’s also got a couple tyre levers.
I really like that water bottle because you expend all that pressure required to drink at the beginning. many water bottles out there where you suck it through a filter, they kinda actually kinda suck to use because if you're really weak and been breathing heavy a lot, you might not have the energy to suck hard but stomping on a mug might be easier
Hey Seth, I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and I’m glad you love the area! I’ve lived here my entire life and I’m a pilot. If you are still in Bentonville I can take you flying and show you the area
I use that chin mount for my motorcycle helmet to act as a dash cam since I commute on my bikes. I love that it's specific to your helmet cause the generic go pro sticky mounts don't always fully engage that adhesive to your helmet thanks to all the funny curves. I will say that the original adhesion is absolutely critical, mine fell off on the highway like a week in to using it, but I bought a leash that also adheres to your helmet so that saved it from an 80mph tumble. Personally, I super glued it back on and it's been holding for like 3 years of riding... Probably 50k miles or more so I think you'll be golden on a mtb helmet. Quick note, mine also mounts at the perfect angle for recording. Not sure if that's a design feature or a coincidence but I like it.
@@riesvanwijngaarden3417 I've heard they made space for 2 ingots in the in frame stash, if you have any left after buying the bike and the usual 5devs upgrades
I don't know how much I trust those little water filter things, especially with an unknown water source. I would love to see filters compared by sending samples to a lab to see how many contaminants they really remove.
Another key feature of the grayl bottle is it’s actually a water purifier! That means it can remove Protozoa, bacteria and other viruses that typical water filters cannot. Great for international travel or areas that have issues with bacteria heavy water sources
Road tripping down this weekend for a learn-to-jump clinic Sat am with Anneke somewhere in SP! You could stop by and heckle us! I've been taking pics of the ledger construction during visits for a couple years now and have not seen it in finished form yet - cool to see the insides!
Every time I look at the Altangle all I see is a pair of Manfrotto Super Clamps with an alloy tube connecting them. They've been used in the photo/video industry for decades and cost about $40. I'm sure Altangle are using billet aluminum and CNC machining rather than a casting process, but damn, that's a lot of cash.
12:55 "you can ride your bike to the top of this building" Yes!!!!! This is so sick. Or at least it's a start. Lately I've been obsessed with this idea I have that tall buildings should have "hikeable" exteriors with landscaping. I love certain kinds of brutalist architecture (specifically, angular and sloping brutalist architecture that makes me want to climb it, not the big plain concrete box type.) I want to be able to hike up a skyscraper and have views and vibes similar to hiking the mist trail to vernal falls.
Ledger looks absolutely incredible, wish you went into more details regarding membership cost and if it was a paid promotion/discount for talking about it.
This is an interesting question I should probably address in more detail. It’s $200 per month, unless you want a dedicated office. Visit Bentonville paid for my one month membership as I requested a place to work during the trip. Anything I’m paid to do (like promote Bentonville in the first video) I’ll always disclose, by law and for transparency. I haven’t had a bike or component sponsor since Diamondback dropped me over a year ago, and Visit Bentonville has been my only sponsor on either channel since then. I don’t intend on getting an ongoing sponsor in the bike industry, as I prefer the freedom to review and feature whatever I want without conflict. However I’m SUPER biased. I have friends in the bike industry, I’ve ridden with people who work for various companies and even bunked with them on trips. Even the Peaty’s wrap-I’m not gonna bash Steve Peat’s product even though I don’t know him personally. More likely I would choose not to review it if I didn’t like it. In short, I stand to gain nothing monetarily by saying good things about any of this stuff, however I would feel really bad if I hurt someone in the bike industry by bashing a product they worked on, so I have to be really pissed and feel personally insulted to do that. But Ledger? That was a last second decision because there was so much cool stuff to show, and so I asked permission to shoot there.
Access to a Levo for $200 a month is a great deal. They run over $5000 retail. You could ride daily for two years, save money, and have zero maintenance costs. I guess you could even work there if you needed.
I had a run in with a bear while I was out biking in capitol forest in Washington. I was really scared and didn't go back because I didn't know how I could carry a gun while riding a bike. Glad to know they made something like that bag.
If you want the toolwrap without the tools (basically just a wrap for around your bike to hang or hold stuff with velcro) you could use XL cable ties. Look out for the reusable ones, in event tech they are used for huge coils of cables
I like my halo bolt-on skewers for my qr bikes. One of my mountain bikes is absolutely wicked, but I crashed a couple times because the qr handle would get stuck or opened when running into foliage at irresponsible speeds. Bolt-on skewers are a must in my opinion.
I’d be surprised if Seth sees this. But it’s worth mentioning that there’s plenty of Fanny packs out there made with built in holsters for a handgun. Most of them also come with these little nubs that go in between the zippers. So you’re not gonna be fumbling to unzip and draw. Especially with practice. The biggest advantage of the Fanny pack is it clips around your waist. Just carry it on your person as you ride. They’re usually more discreet too. Even more so when you’re walking around with your helmet. Just look like a cyclist.
Getting Darth Kermit vibes from the blind water filter review 😂On a more serious note, get yourself a viscoset from your buddies down at Cane Creek for the Big Dummy. Helps with speed wobble, but I like it best for providing a little bit extra resistance to keep the wheel straight when you've got it on the kickstand, or as seen at 7:00 when the front wheel starts flopping on you.

Quick note, mine also mounts at the perfect angle for recording. Not sure if that's a design feature or a coincidence but I like it.
That hand sculpture looks awesome!
Why do you keep reviewing products that make my wallet physically produce sweat
Agree, my wallet coughing air just watching this video.
Sounds like you need the new Santa Cruz Wallet Towelettes, just $59.99 for a box of 20
My wallet has left the building
@@riesvanwijngaarden3417 I've heard they made space for 2 ingots in the in frame stash, if you have any left after buying the bike and the usual 5devs upgrades
To make money.
that kuat rack looks really nice and a lot easier than the 1up rack.
Kuat stuff has wonderful fit and finish, they are just crazy expensive
The problem is the price. It's cuts a lot of people out of the market.
I don't know how much I trust those little water filter things, especially with an unknown water source. I would love to see filters compared by sending samples to a lab to see how many contaminants they really remove.
Nice job on explaining everything on the 2 different wheel sizes!!
Another key feature of the grayl bottle is it’s actually a water purifier! That means it can remove Protozoa, bacteria and other viruses that typical water filters cannot. Great for international travel or areas that have issues with bacteria heavy water sources
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
Your videos always bring a smile. Thanks Seth! Wondering how to convince my wife that Bentonville is a valid vacation destination.
owner of the shop I work at bought the Kuat roof rack, so sweet. Literally the easiest one ive ever used
Road tripping down this weekend for a learn-to-jump clinic Sat am with Anneke somewhere in SP!
Another great product review Seth.👍
"I typically use a longsword" 😂😂😂
I use my grail water bottle for backpacking. Works really well
Awesome vid as usual. You are one stable in my mtb UA-cam!!! Thank you for your work!!!!!
I love these clamps! You could probably build a bike with just these things.
I hope one day to visit Bentonville. Looks like a dream come true!
This video made my morning.
I have just learned coworking spaces are a thing. Thanks, I might actually look into those in my area
That place is heaven. Can't wait to visit next year for the first time. And if I ever win the lottery, that's where I'm retiring!
12:55 "you can ride your bike to the top of this building"
Yes!!!!!
"i typicaly ride with a longsword" caught me off-guard🤣
So cool to see you hanging out in Bentonville where I live!
Glad you showed this. Even those of us who live in Bentonville needed this info!
200/month for an office space sounds like a bargain!
Access to a Levo for $200 a month is a great deal. They run over $5000 retail. You could ride daily for two years, save money, and have zero maintenance costs. I guess you could even work there if you needed.
@@franklee6301 5k? my buddy bought a canyon for 9k because a levo was to expensive.
The money Bentonville spent on Seth is money well spent - I need Bentonville in my life!!
That co working space is super cool! Never heard of anything like that.
My fav product I've bought so far. is a bluetooth speaker/flashlight. USB port and SD card super handy
Got a lot of love for Peatys products, one the tool wraps is on the xmas list.
I had a run in with a bear while I was out biking in capitol forest in Washington. I was really scared and didn't go back because I didn't know how I could carry a gun while riding a bike. Glad to know they made something like that bag.
oh damn, sounds absolutely wild to us europeans haha but guns are tools and it depends how you use them I guess
That portable bike stand is awesome!
i use chin mounts for my motorcycle, itll hold a hero 10 with all its accessories at 150 easy. super solid mounts.
If you want the toolwrap without the tools (basically just a wrap for around your bike to hang or hold stuff with velcro) you could use XL cable ties. Look out for the reusable ones, in event tech they are used for huge coils of cables
Ordered the peaty's wrap when it came out a few months ago, taxes were almost the same as the wrap (UK to Belgium) but worth it :)
Cheers mate 🍻🤘 Appreciate the support
Seth you are my favourite UA-camr you are always posting great videos keep it up 👍
I bought the chin mount for my TLD helmet and have had no issues. It’s secure and stays put.
"I typically ride with a longsword" made me LOL in my office...
Me too!
I like my halo bolt-on skewers for my qr bikes. One of my mountain bikes is absolutely wicked, but I crashed a couple times because the qr handle would get stuck or opened when running into foliage at irresponsible speeds. Bolt-on skewers are a must in my opinion.
DANG that workspace looks nice. Thx for the reviews Seth.
"i ride withe a longsword" made my day
I’d be surprised if Seth sees this.
I rode about 650 miles in 2023. Armed MANY more miles than not.
Seth keeping is helmet on in the co working space was hilarious
Seth, man, you really are living the dream! Love it.
you know it is gonna be a good day when this guy uploads!
That bicycle repair stand is the best product 💪💯
Getting Darth Kermit vibes from the blind water filter review 😂On a more serious note, get yourself a viscoset from your buddies down at Cane Creek for the Big Dummy. Helps with speed wobble, but I like it best for providing a little bit extra resistance to keep the wheel straight when you've got it on the kickstand, or as seen at 7:00 when the front wheel starts flopping on you.
I always love the reviews! Thanks for sharing! Woo!🤘
somebody needs to make a long sword mount now.
Awesome video Seth!
keep up the great content!
“I typically ride with a long sword” that made me audibly laugh 😅
The Steve Pete air adapter for the co2 is a great idea
The Altangle Hangar Connect is an awesome and versatile tool!!
👍
That co-working place is sick!!
Your reviews are the best.
Would love to see a review of your great sword biking sheath! ⚔️
3:10 does it come with the beer money 😂😂😂
Wish it could mate, commercial director said no 🙄😂
@@Peatys thanks for replying, didn’t expect you’d comment. I would buy it if I still had a mountain bike lol 😂
Bro. I have to admit. The coffee holder did it for me. Im gettin that thing.
