- In this video I'll go for a test drive & completely review the NEW 2021 Ford Mustang GT! I'll go over what's NEW for the 2021 Ford Mustang GT as well as test out acceleration, shifting, cargo space, rear legroom, sound system, exhaust clip & much more!

I just got my 2021 Gt PP1, and man!..Being from the old school 80s, it sure brings me younger sports car memories...I truly enjoy and love this car...Worth the trade from a 2019 Stingray i had.

Congrats. I just signed the papers yesterday and picking up my new Race red 21 GT Premium PP, 401A, active exhaust, B&O, sadly its didn’t have the magneride but I’m sure I’ll be just fine without it. Found a set of S71 welds/beadlock rears. It’s good to feel like a kid again... One more sleep 😁
Do you like your stingray or mustang more? I have a V6 and my goal is to get a stingray next.
I’m a teenager from the ‘80s who drove an ‘80 something Mustang. What sticks out from my 2019 is Ford ACTUALLY put its trademark pony on this new breed! Was Ford ashamed of those Mustangs of old? Hmmm?
Anyway, welcome back from the dark side by ridding yourself of the Stingray. A resin-coated fiberglass car that literally will crash and burn is way too creepy!

I had purchased a 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost in August of 2018. This past January 28th, 2022, I have traded my Mustang for a 2021 Ford Mustang GT automatic. It had 6 miles before I did a test drive off the lot, which I added 4 more miles before my purchase. I’m loving it every day.

The perfect balance of power, performance, style, and play for the price. Dollar per HP is unmatched. It’s the best selling sports car in America. It’s a rear wheel drive, 2door, coupe, manual, V8. What more do u need? It’s an absolute beast and with room for more power and upgrades.

Great review as always! I miss your GT, but really glad to see you review another one. I know you were talking about how surprised you were with how great the tires gripped the road.... I noticed in 2020 or 2021 they changed the GT PP1 tires from Michelin Pilot Sports, to Pirelli P-Zeros...... I much prefer the Michelins for every day use. The Pirelli's have a lot grip short time, but they wear WAY TOO FAST. Michelin all the way here on my GT. Great work as always man.

Excellent, detailed review! I agree with you that the Mustang GT is the best performance vehicle in its price class. And it’s one of the few remaining affordable true sports cars that you could get as a convertible! Like other viewers, I did not know you got rid of your Mustang. Change is good, right? 😁

IMO, the Gen 3 Coyote motor is one of the best bang for the buck naturally aspirated motors. So easy to make insane hp out of these. Great vid

I've just purchased my 2021 GT. Waiting 20 inch x 11 inch rear rims and 20 inch x 10 inch for the front. They're working out the offset so they will sit as wide as possible without touching the guard. All windows getting a dark tint and have organised some blue stripes to go down the middle of my silver Mustang.
Have just purchased a new car for the wife so she wont be able to complain when I show up with the Mustang. I was going to buy a BMW Z4 but its a lot of money and I think the Mustang offers at least small rear seats for my little dog, a smoother ride and more scope to make it individual. Can't wait for it to be ready. I'm guessing 3 weeks for the stripping. The of the problems of living away from the big smoke.
My husband traded my Volvo for his ‘18 Mustang convertible. I got to driving his and fell in love. So I made him buy me one! Got a black convertible with the red leather seats. Had to travel through two states to get mine….SO worth it! Our neighbors think we’re crazy, but I don’t care! Life’s too short not to have fun!

I shouldn't really have watched that Gold Pony. Missing my old 2016 GT Fastback now! Will seriously consider a Mach1 when they reach the UK later this year.

I'm 5' 10" and fit in the back on a mustang just fine so I must be a small kid... Awesome review by the way thinking about getting a fully loaded priemuim EcoBoost and I love the new colors and co-pilot on the 2021s.

Love the Mustang but dang that performance pack level 1 really has gone up in price. Almost as much as a performance pack 2 when that was offered for 2019-2020. Are there any differences in the performance pack 1 for 2021 that justifies the big price increase since 2019? (PP1 was $3995 for 2018-2019)
PP was $2500 for 2015 Mustang GT
Will you be putting out the turbo review? Also you said you miss your mustang. Did you trade it in?
With the risk of getting some shit for that I will share that I keep my steering on "comfort" cause I like to hold the wheel with one finger when driving on the highway for many hours at a time.
I got the 10 speed automatic and it also helps a lot making long journeys comfortable. I am mildly annoyed by the framelss windows since I hear some wind noise when driving over 100kmph and I think they just don't seal as well as framed ones and since it's not convertable I don't see the point in that compromise. Otherwise it's a great car, I am very happy with it. :)

My 2019 gt has the same features, except for the drive modes.
The 2021 Mustang GT is not equipped with the MT82. It has the Tremec. From 2011-2020 was the MT82.
Ford really hiked up the price for the 2021 pp1

The new 2021 colour, carbonized grey. The 2020 colour magnetic grey was way darker.

@@davidcompra that's true, especially on pictures it could look very light, nearly like iconic silver or with other light very dark. I would appreciate it if the darker magnetic grey would be still in production. With this colour the Mustang was perfect for me, looked a bit more evil in comparison with carbonized grey.^^ even though the new carbonized grey also is a nice colour, the Mustang doesn't looks so special with it. With carbonized grey he's not an eyecatcher in a parking lot with many other cars.

In fact, I was thinking about buying it this year (before knowing the lost of Magnetic), but maybe I'll wait until next gen S650 is ready

Mt82 trans is a horrible trans keeps locking up in third i straight swapped .y mt82 for a 6060 from a shelby gt and its way better now.

Hey I just got a new 2021 gt, is it normal when the gears shifting up feel a lil aggressive even when just cruising.. it’s nothing major but I can feel when the gears change and I’ve never encountered that before in my cars but I’ve also never had anything this fast, so I’m jus wondering is that what happens when a car has a lot of power or what
What did you trade your Mustang for?

Those are the wheels from the performance pack and haven't changed in 7 years... c'mon Ford! 😳 If you don't care about the performance pack there are some other wheels choices that look good, the CALI Special or the Black Appearance pack. I think there is also 20" option.
I have owned 3 newer Challengers and liked them much better than the Mustang. Had more room and you were not optioned to death like the Mustang. Sorry to hear about the Steg, but life goes on.......................................J
I will stay with my 2021 M4 Competition and I smoke a 2021 Mustang GT. I think they are slow compared to a M4. They need to put more into there interior with soft touch leather.

3.9 seconds for automatic, never knew that..I thought it was 4.3 or so.
Ford claimed the 3.9. I had a 2019 and never got that, but the 3.9 was proven on the track... just not on the street 😏

Does it actually get 15mpg city? (Real life driving) ?
Yes and no. It all depends on how it’s being driven. It could get around that mpg if your being rough with it. But it gets average gas mileage if you drive it normally. For example, I get anywhere around 22-24 mpg for my work commute. The trips consist of 90% highway and 10% city. Could’ve been a bit higher I think, but there was bit of traffic so that didn’t help mpg at all. But if your commute consists of nothing but city driving, then it probably will get around that, just because of the constant stopping, accelerating, idling etc.

Yes... 0-60 in 3.9 for the GT & 4.3 for the Scat Pack 👍

☝️😄 Remove the mole saboteur at Ford Corporation sent in to infiltrate, sent by dodge or Chevy or both? The best selling mustang (recent times) 05-09 design got derailed and morphed into the “Asian GTR slant headlights” we see today. How is it that a 94-04 mustang design generation body style is allowed to perpetuate persistently for 11 years? While a drastically improved generation 05-09 proven through sales is allowed just 5 years? Something does not jive at Ford Corporation. How is it that Dodge challengers and Chevy ZL1s produce much more stronger engines? And are optional with sunroofs? While the GT Mustangs are not allowed to have sunroofs at Ford Corporation? Not to mention a lot weaker engines as well. Someone making decisions at Ford in the mustang design is none other than a mole saboteur sent to infiltrate via Dodge or Chevy.
