In August of 2018, I had purchased a base model 10 speed automatic 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost in magnetic color with 6 miles on the odometer. Man, I really did enjoy that vehicle for the time I had it. Then in late January of 2022, when I went to the Ford dealership to get my vehicle serviced as well as getting a new battery, I was told it’d be a 3-3.5 hour wait. While waiting, I went to take a look at the GTs out there. An hour and 45 minutes later, I had traded my Mustang Ecoboost for a base model 2021 Ford Mustang GT in shadow black, also in a 10 speed automatic that had 10 miles on the odometer after leaving the dealership. Nearly 6 months have passed and I am still enjoying my Mustang GT. I couldn’t be happier.
I couldn’t find an explanation on why my 2020 has 2 gauges for oil pressure and vacuum above the screen and some others don’t is there a difference? Couldn’t find anything

Great comparison review. I believe the Camaro LT1 is faster than the Mustang due to the lighter weight, and more torque from the engine. I've seen it barely beat a 5.0, but we'll see as more content comes out.
I think so too. The 5.0 pulls slightly harder in the top end, but I don’t think that makes up for the rest of the power band where the 6.2 is noticeably stronger. The 5.0 likes mods a lot more however but that’s besides the point haha thanks for the comment brother!
How's the base radio sound? I just ordered a 22' base GT with the black accent pkg. I know it won't be comparable to the Bang & Olufsen, but does it have any oomph at all?
The new 6-speaker system is certainly better than the 4-speaker I had in my 2014 base however I still prefer the 6 speaker system in the Camaro. It’s not the best but I personally think it’s good enough considering what the car is. Thanks for the comment!
Mine is 2020 base. Tbh after having H&K audio in the 16 WRX I had, the sound system in the mustang definitely leaves some to be desired but meh, I listen to the sound of the car more than music anyway 🤷♂️
@@shanewilfon6860 they are definitely decent aside from the styling imo. Definitely subjective, but it’s not really my taste. Plus I have a Camry for the winter so awd wasn’t 100% necessary. My wallet is a little upset at me but I knew what I was getting into buying a V8 lol

Those are not front brembo brakes and not performance car either. It's fast on a straight line but not road course unlike a PP1 and PP2 great both straight and road course.
The brakes are four piston brakes far from being poor, made by continental they are used by the PP on the ecoboost. Also the Scat pack has four piston brakes I have not seen them be called inadequate. Although I would recommend anyone who gets a GT get a PP1 if they can.
Thanks for watching! More Mustang videos coming, including a full head to head with my Camaro LT1 that’ll hopefully be posted tomorrow.

Does the 4inch infotainment system bother you? Thinking of getting a Base 2018 Mustang GT
@@EddieHDeejust change it out with an after market radio it’ll be about 200-700 dollars you can do it yourself bro
As quick as the automatic shifts, I still prefer a manual six speed.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2021 Mustang GT Base Automatic and can’t wait to pick it up in a few days!
Great car brother it’s seriously fast.. Appreciate the comment!
What’s the deal with the 10 keypad next to the 3” screen? Is this a calculator?
The car's only weakness is not having the 301A package with toggleable drive modes. Drag mode knocks significant time off acceleration.

1:41 some pretty good curb rash on that wheel…
Why doesn’t my line lock work on my 22 GT?
Another great review. Keep them coming.

I own a 2020 5.0 base and the sound is still great .
Wonder if one can swap to Apple car play
I’m picking up my 2021 GT 5.0 Monday
Does it have the “mycolor” feature?
Does the 2020 gt base model come with a back up camera picking up one really soon just tranna see
Yes every new car sold in U.S has been mandated to include a back up camera since 2018 👍🏼
Great video sir
Nice informative review man! 🙌🏻🔥 That things sounds like it really flies! 🏎🏁
It’s seriously impressive man I’d definitely check it out. Thanks for the comment brother!

You won't win any imaginary stoplight races with that low-torque lol. Sounds like it would be a blast to floor on an empty highway though.
I owned one of these and it’s a monster on the road! My boyfriend doesn’t feel safe driving it though, he thinks the wheels are spinning everywhere.😂
Must be a women driver with so much curb rash on small wheels 🤣
One sided cause you own a different car.

No
But I bet pp makes it bounce and ride like shit i rather cruise in comfort with 18" balloon shit tires lol I'm an old bastard with hemmorhoids

Def. not a brembo brake caliper
It is a 4 piston brembo
