He is literally everyones. Amazing in Breaking Bad, yes, but no fancasting online will tell you different. Jeffrey Wright looks great as Gordon in The Batman so I don't rly mind about anyone other yet, as there's probably gonna be sequels so no need to see a recasting anytime soon.

I've always thought Jon Hamm would be an amazing, older Batman. He has the look, the skills and the experience as a businessman with a darker side.

I would go for Emile Hirsch for Red Hood would be a good choice as well. He did action in Speed Racer and Lone Survivor, and he really can transform into something totally different like in Into The Wild.
He's really underrated and deserves a real shot for a comic book role.

@@romanxxxxyoutube I think Henry cavill is perfect for wolverine, he's hairy and kinda got too big for superman to the point where he was stocky like wolverine, he actually has the comic accurate blue eyes and black hair, and the butt chin and square jaw. He has the V-shaped hairline of wolverine too

I used to say no one will ever come close to Gary Oldman's Commissioner Gordon, but Bryan Cranston would be amazing in this role. I think that Ian McKellen would be an amazing Alfred

Harvey Dent/Two-Face - Originally I thought of Armie Hammer since he definitely has played intelligent guys like in Social Network, but definitely could go dark after seeing him in some thrillers, but he'd probably wouldn't sign due to him failing to get the role for Batman, and also the rumors that Marvel will cast him for something first. So another alternate, is a lesser known guy named TOM PELPHREY. You probably remember him the most if you watched Iron Fist and Mank. But if you've seen S3 of the show Ozark, you'll see what I mean, since the guy can show he can break any second. So Tom Pelphrey as Dent/Two Face.
Rupert Thorn - I picked MICHAEL STUHLBERG, after watch his role playing a mob boss on Boardwalk Empire.
Jervis Tech/Mad Hatter - I think there should be two alternatives, depending on how old they want this character. Bryan Seeker's choices from later Batman villain videos CALEB LANDRY JONES after seeing him in Get Out. Or DAVID TENNANT (Yes, I know he was the choice for Riddler), mainly for his role in Jessica Jones as Kilgrave/Purple Man.
Dr Crane/Scarecrow - Two alternatives. ELIJAH WOOD, look no further than Kevin from Sin City. Or BILL SKARSGARD, I mean, do you need to do the research on this one?
Pamala Isley/Poison Ivy - Before I say who to cast, let me say that I hope if they bring Poison Ivy, that they go with the effects into making the characters plants similar to Little Shop Of Horrors plants. Imagine the plants giving Batman a near jump-scare. Now as for casting, there are SIX alternatives that I'll let name and show down: JESSIE BUCKLEY (Fargo S4), AMANDA SEYFRIED (Chloe), ANNA KENDRICK (A Simple Favor), TERESA PALMER (Lights Out), KATA MARA (AHS: Murder House), or GEMMA ARTERTON (Disappearance of Alice Creed and Quantum of Solace).
Arnold Wesker/Ventriliquist and Scarface: I think this just comes from the voice. Two alternatives: CHARLIE DAY OR NICK KROLL.

@@BayHarbo Yes. He got a lot of critics for his american accent in Dredd. Almost as much as for his accent in the Boys (seriously, look it up... There are literally hundreds of thousands of people complaining about it, at this point).
You're going to cast the Robins, are you going to cast the Batgirls? Often when looking at the Bat Family they tend to get overlooked (for that matter there are numerous heros that were never either who get overlooked even more), the 'standard' depiction of the Bat Family is Bruce, Dick, Jay, Tim, possibly Damien and Barbra, it'd be interesting for you to tackle the others as well.
I would be interested in seeing a live action Cassandra Cain (I think it’s fair to say Birds of Prey doesn’t count) or Steph Brown especially, just because we only really see Barbara anywhere. The Robins are great but because they’re supposed to look so similar, they tend to blend together in a way that the others don’t, so if we can justify three, even four Robins in a film series, I think three Batgirls isn’t too far, right? At least they’ve got different hair colours on their side lmao. It’s also worth mentioning Signal, but I think that including him is a long shot unfortunately.

@@medafan53 I don’t know either, it’s not like there’s any brand recognition behind it; unless you’re interested in Batman comics already there’s very little chance you’d recognise her hero names, never mind her real one. I think the only things they have in common are that they’re both Asian and in Gotham.
Karl Urban would be perfect as Batman, he can play every side of the character, including Bruce Wayne as the suave Billionaire Playboy.

Karl Urban... Always have been ever since Batfleck was announced... John Cleese is a fine choice but I prefer Ralph Fiennes. I see Alfred in him in his performance in the Grand Budapest Hotel.
I would go for Geoffrey Rush as Alfred.

As always your casting is both brilliant and methodical. Karl Urban as the Dark Knight had never even crossed my mind and yet he would be amazing in the role. Also Cleese as Older Alfred would be something to see.

Mark Hamill's definitely got the voice (pretty sure he _is_ the voice in damn near everything), but I don't think he has the look. Dafoe definitely has the look.

Along the same lines, I would like to see who you would cast as other Justice League members.
I would strongly suggest Adam Driver for Scarecrow. He can act well with his face concealed and plays melancholy well.

For the Robert Pattinson series, yeah, but this is an older take on the story... I’m figuring out who I think he should cast now, I’ll make an edit when I do
EDIT: ok, so I feel like Julian Richings would kill this role. He is a bit on the older side, but he basically played the character in Supernatural, and has action experience in Man of Steel

I would go with Tom Cullen for Batman. He's got the look, the physicality, the mixture of suave and aggressive delivery that lends itself to Batman, and when I suggested the idea to noted Batman enthusiast Mark Hamill on Twitter, he liked the post.

Because this guy simply makes too much sense with his casting choices. And the world simply does not work on a logical way. That's why no one is going to hire him. The sad truth.

@WorldEpicness Because he only picks actors who have been in a thousand fan-cast previously done by other people, but mainly because he picks actors only based on their looks, not the acting skills. For instance: Karl Urban is a fantastic actor, but he can not (I have to repeat this: he CAN NOT) speak with an american accent. I think he only tried it in one movie, and he has appeared in every "worst american accents of all time" list since then.

John Cleese may be too funny for the role in the eyes of fans, but I agree that he could bring the gravitas required for the role.

Man, I can't wait for part two. You did great, I'm not too familiar with actors, so I can't really list my picks. However, Karl Urban has crossed my mind as a good Batman. I'm not disappointed with any of your picks.
I'll admit, I'm not usually too keen on Karl Urban as Batman/Bruce Wayne however, when you showed clips of him from Star Trek to the Boys to Dredd, it not only showed his acting range but on a minor note, it could provide an opportunity for him to be both billionaire playboy and Matches Malone (if they ever go that route)
But Giancarlo Esposito as Lucius Fox makes me so happy, I feel like he's been known for the villain or darker characters (haven't seen his earlier works though) so having him play a good character is like a breath of fresh air.

I disagree just in the sense that BvS was almost Lex's beginnings towards evil megalomania, where previously he was just a power-hungry, trust funded young man trying to surpass his father.

I've been telling people since Dredd came out, that it's a low budget version of a Batman movie. Seeing you choose Karl is amazing, and i think that even Olivia Thrillby could be a good choice for Batgirl. Kudos to you, amazing as always.

Michael Fassbender is personally my top choice for another Batman in his 40’s.
Karl Urban is a bit too roguish/brutish and Wolverine-esque for Bruce Wayne, who needs to also be more suave, imo. Your casting and reasoning are always incredible though and I agree with pretty much everything else.

Tbh Aaron Eckhart would make a great Commissioner Jim Gordon. Bryan Cranston is a good choice since he's already familiar with the character in Batman: Year One. But I feel that Aaron Eckhart is just perfect for the part.

Asa Butterfield was 20 years younger to Michael Fassbender's age when I cast him as Batman, so I think it'll be really cool to see that Father & Son dynamic since they have a 20 year gap.

As much as we'd want to see Karl Urban pull this off, the film makers never really care about the people's choice. They would rather choose the perfect money maker over the perfect guy for the job. The only role WB's gonna give to Karl Urban would be that of 'Baitman'.

i love karl urban as batman, but even more in my opinion I would love to see his punisher. I know that Jon Bernthal basically nailed it in DD s2 but there was so much restraint with his character, they softened him for his own show and seemed to be almost scared of just giving him the skull two things I think Karl Urban’s punisher would never shy away from.

I'm really excited to see your castings for the Robins, because I think those characters are the hardest to cast. Everyone has their own opinion on who should play Dick Grayson / Jason Todd / Time Drake and so on and what kind of character they should be on screen, since each incarnation is always so different from the last. Keep up the good work!
