      Sometimes it can take ages looking around for papers when doing research and then posting/uploading. Which company did you study with?

      you mustn't have learned much if you think magnus is any good at this.

      @@louiscyfer6944 gee that's funny - everything he talks about and demonstrates is pretty much all the things I learned in my official USA certification course! But hey - different strokes for different folks. He's certainly doing something right considering who his successful clients are.

      @@beatmydrum what is an official usa certification?

    • @beatmydrum
      @beatmydrum 2 роки тому

      @@louiscyfer6944 a certification school/course based in the U.S. (NASM, ISSA, etc...). All the stuff Magnus talks about is lots of the same stuff taught in the biggest U.S. certification courses.

    This was one of my favorite videos from you! I appreciate the balance you teach-so great. I’m with you, my current routine and needs are weights, followed by pilates and yoga. Thank you for your consistency and balanced approach to fitness.

    Great advice as usual, right now I am going to the gym 5 days a week. I do the elliptical machine, core every session and strength training. So I plan to switch it up and go four days a week, three days muay Thai or traditional boxing and two days of yoga. That is the plan, let's pray.

    I did a similar workout, push, pull, legs. But I'm starting to wonder if hitting a muscle group only once a week is enough (for me). I'm going to change it up for a bit and do full body 3x a week to see if I notice strength and muscle gains.

    Love your advice on hard/heavy sets first. I don’t that for everything except legs. I have to hit leg extensions before squats because it warms up my knees. Don’t know what it is but my knees hurt like hell when I squat first but are good to go after extensions. Not sure why that is.

    Maybe for your knees you should also try to work in your running form. Most of the time there are little thing but can cause bigger problem 🏃💪👌🤗

    Why do you consume nearly 40g of protein on your shakes, etc? Not asking to be critical. Just hear so often you can only absorb closer to the 20g range. Thanks in advance.

    • @magnus_method
      @magnus_method  2 роки тому +4

      Good question, you have been misinformed. We can absorb about 30-50g of protein per meal depending on fat free muscle mass.

    Hey Magnus, what's your opinion on Pull/Push/Legs workouts? Working out muscles more than once a week gives more results when comparing to only once a week. Scientific studies sustent this theory
